More than once, i've had to look for my own pack , it was hidden so well i walked past it without spotting it, lol. Like a squirrel who forgot where he hid his stash of nuts🐿 Now i make a kind of trail to where the pack is, by strategically placing a few branches here and there, in a way that only i can recognize. It does help, especially in the dark :D
Thanks, great tips, i'm going to try them out. I was thinking of buying a Flecktarn net, also for covering the tent, bc i really like that camo for autumn/winter. But maybe spray paint on a green/DPM net will work just as well?
Does halfords still stock those camo colours anywhere? Not in my local one a few months ago. Great little cover that is Tank, only spray one side to be more brown and it'll be reversible too.
@@outsidertank Thank-you mate, it's a shame that halfords appear to not have any. Simpler to walk there and not have to wait if running out before the spray job is finished.
Nice intel mate, sorry your little wolf buddy was particularly un helpful on this occasion, at least he was a good security officer standing by.😂😅 Harry 👍
Top tip. Weave some of the local foliage throughout the netting. It helps blend it in to that exact environment perfectly
Ohh I didn't know that Frankie 😂
Hahaaa @@outsidertank
@@outsidertank😆😅🤣😂😭
Tanks A Lot. You just have to be careful, if you put it down somewhere. That you can find it again later.

I love how you say let me show you what you're gonna need then the camera cuts to Lillyboo. We all need a Lillyboo
Or a Fat Allen 😉
or as an alternative if you have the time instead of the paracord method just stitch camo net along the elasticated seam of the other rain cover.
Brilliant and simple idea! Nice one👌👊

OT, is your waterproof DPM a ProForce make?
What do you think of your jacket?
Does it have an inside side zip?
@CommunistCommando1 it's just a Gortex my friend.
@outsidertank Cheers Lee, I'm going to buy a waterproof but not a Smock but the Proforce one costs over £60- Hope its a good one.
Nice disappearing act.
A good idea too if you have to hoist your pack in a tree due to dogs or the like. Cheers!💜👍
