Do you know if this has any impact on the coolwalk split screen upgrade? it seems I cant get my AA to switch to the new screens
My phone is Realme X7 Android 12.....after completing all the above process ,only the carStream app is visible and when I open the same on car screen it only shows "No New Messages During This Drive" ....Any solutions for this.......Moreover when I connect some other phone the carStream app works smoothly

I skipped installing Android Auto fix @1:36, as it did not work on my phone. The phone said, the app was not built for my phone.
Despite of that though, I installed the updates for Android Auto App back and then installed all the other apps using King Installer.
Everything else works nicely. I have Toyota RAV4 PHEV.
Followed all steps, nothing worked on xpander 2023.

doesn't work with samsung s20fe. The Android Auto update is not accepted by the phone. Update: actually I got it to work. It wouldn't accept the update before uninstalling android auto which is not available in app settings. Though I did manage to uninstall it by going to google play store and searching for android auto. Once opened the uninstall button was available.
I just tried this.. after Uninstaller via Google play store.. it still said app not installed as it conflicts with an existing package. :(

@@grzegorzdybka824 Oneplus 9 pro, mazda cx 5, patched spotify and youtube music vanced are working well, but all other apps from this guide failed to run. Cartube runs with sound only and there is no video at all. The only thing that you need to activate AA developers mode and switch on unknown sources.

Doesn't work. After doing all this as soon as I connect to my car it asks to update Android auto. Have given all the permissions to all the apps and they do show up on the car screen, but none works. Just audio plays, or it shows "no new messages during this drive"

I believe this only works on cars 2021 or newer. Didn't work on my Outback 2020 and I painfully followed this video step by step. Actually after the latest update it won't even see the USB port. I have a S21 Ultra android 12.

As I have a Dovox display with Android Auto, I don't have an ability to change where audio from my phone would go.
Whatever I tried it goes to the internal speaker of that display which sucks.
And when I connect to the car's bluetooth it would still play music and calls via internal speaker...
Is there any workaround for this?
Also, is it possible with your fix to mirror/cast the screen from my phone to AndroidAuto device?

Car Stream and Car Tube won't play on my infotainment. It always display "No new messages". I have done all the steps from the video. Am I missing something?

ive watched so many of your videos on this and installed so many your shared files but every time the car does not recognise that an android auto phone has been connected really don't want have to shell out hundreds on an auto box

Downloaded all the apps as per the instructions. Still unable to view the cartube/carstream/fermata auto in the head unit. Tested and proven using Oppo A93 on Mitsubishi Xpander 2022 head unit..disappointed..haha

Most likely the latest security updates prevents anything that is shown here to fail.
I just got it to work on my Galaxy S10+ that has been updated within the last week. You have to donate in order for the app to work properly... this is the only solution for getting UA-cam to work efficiently on a non-touch screen infotainment system
