Got it, uconnect 5, and android play can't get a full screen for google or waze nav. And the split screen sucks fir nav. Now they allow that terrible tomtom nav on, had to be the cheapest vendor, and that is full screen. But

Got it loaded, gave all permissions that I cant understand it needing. But- i can get sound of any youtube, listening to your video through the 2023 Ram 12" screen, but no video. Im on a s24, so its modern. Would have been nice. Thanks for the video. My guess is RAMs UCONNECT 5 is blocking it. It won't allow Google or Waze maps full screen but Apple Carplay can.
Why doesn't anyone truely write how bad Android auto is... The Daily issues in..... Wireless connecting, volume, assistant/s taking over each other, Google's voice command issues. The list of issues just keeps on going.... The Android auto is just garbage.... If it only worked right it would be terrific but Google developers don't bother fixing anything they just keep updating the system with new features that often don't work anyway as they should.
All this is done through your phone that connects through your Android auto now full wireless so far is not plugging up your smartphone that's a different story
When you get a chance download carstream in the same app that one allows you to put your UA-cam information in. If you didn't get to pro version you will have to download that one my 30 days is coming up. Don't forget to call the car screen looking app you will see it.
@@CadillacDriven I did everything in the video but it seems like the current version of android auto blocks it from working. I've tried to rollback AA to a older version but it still doesn't work. Any recommendations or other work around you might know of?
They should pop up on your Android auto screen so what I do is once I download it I'll go ahead and restart Android auto and then it'll come back up give that a try
@@CadillacDriven the problem is.... you now have to downgrade Android Auto.. and after you do that and plug in your phone... it auto updated back to the newest verion....no matter what you do to disable it from updating... its so frustrating !

I don't know about this one, Huck. It sounds good, but that's why my phone is the Fold 3 and my GMC is WiFi capable.

I downloaded carstream and nothing else popped up. Now wen I try to click on it again and it wont let me download it again smh

The Android 12 disclaimer is true it doesn't work with Android 12. The apps don't work after the 12 update.
