This is a job of patience. I charge not for what I do, but for what I know or I think to be repairable. I truly enjoy it and I make a good extra income from it. I usually make about $2000 extra a week just fixing restaurant and hotel ice machines. Thanks for sharing. I'll be subscribing to your channel and keep 'em coming. I do NOT know everything!

I know exactly what you’re saying! Be patient and get to know the machine. Extra cash is a plus. I’m learning stuff everyday and have been for a while.

Your company obviously just services ice machines correct? Amazing how you are able to focus just on ice machines like that. My town is too small to be able to focus on one niche. By far you are the best ice machine pro on UA-cam. Please keep the videos coming!

You are correct. I work on ice machines 97 percent of the time. There are some reach in refrigerators and so RO systems that get thrown in the mix. I’ll do my best to keep it up!

Just quoted a Manitowoc for cleaning and water pump. After cleaning it was found so dirty that water was not able to move. Did not charge for the pump. 1st time i ever saw that.

Was it clogged with scale? Those can be disassembled and cleaned. Either way it’s gotta be pretty bad!

Would say that it’s normal for these manitowoc ice machines to run low on water ( both high & low not sensing ) when there’s ice on the evap?
I’ve got a machine which satisfies its trough fill , but as the water becomes ice and sticks to the evap, the trough becomes so low that the level sensor stops sensing and the water flow over the evap seems to get weaker. Shouldn’t it initiate the fill valve to open when the sensor sees it drop?
    Thanks bro 👍🏻

Towards the end of freeze there should be a small amount of water left in the water trough. The water sensors shouldn’t be sending water towards the end of freeze. If you’re running out of water prior to the machine cycling into harvest you may have an issue. Make sure you’re not loosing water down the drain through the dump valve. Make sure you have good water pressure going to the machine. The machine should fill with water prior to the initial 2 minute pre-chill. Hope this helps.
