As soon as my 2 year old hears the theme song, she stands there wide eyed until little Hattie says “podcast!” And then my daughter does the same thing in the same voice 😂 she loves the theme song too!
I’m staying up late with my newborn’s switched sleep schedule, and I saved this weeks episode for just this occasion. I didn’t realize I was watching Wednesday’s episode until I was halfway through. Thanks for amazing laughs and quality content! Now let’s pray I get back to a regular sleep schedule soon!

Gosh, I relate so much to Brad with the kid “tough” times. We have the same family dynamics, girl, boy, girl, and same round about ages. Our 3 year old boy has been struggling with the new baby while also potty training. And oh boy the mood changes lol. Always grateful to hear your perspective!
I love the sound board 😂 and also- I totally load the dishwasher and run it every night! It is nice waking up in the morning with clean dishes, but over time I’ve slowly gotten less enthused about putting everything away…! All the sippy cups and lids and little silverware gets to me!! 😅😂 Thanks for the fun listen today!!

I was rolling about the trail cam video 😂 I've been a sleepwalker/talker/mover since childhood. 2 months into marriage my husband had a nightmare amd grabbed the back of my neck. I didn't know about his nightmare as I was sleeping. Apparently fight or flight I'm fighting. I started swinging and scratching thinking someone broke in the house. I kept hearing a voice and it finally became clear it was my husband telling me it was him and we were ok. I finally came fully out of my sleep. No intruder. A few days later I see my husband has a giant bruise and deep scratches on his chest. I asked what happened. He said REALLY?? YOU DID THIS TO ME!!! Oops.

I am a moderate board-gamer and play 2-4 new board games a month. At my house I probably have 10-15 unopened games. There are so many new board games released a month I would have to play 20-30 new games a month to keep up with Kickstarter releases.

I loved the sleep story Jake shared! I was laughing so hard thru the whole thing! I often scream in my sleep. When we were newlyweds, my husband and I would often snuggle before falling asleep and rolling to our sides of the bed. One night I had drifted off into a bad dream and screamed right in his ear just as he was about to drift off. I woke up to him rolling me away from him and was so confused what was going on. Then he said, "You just screamed in my ear!" I couldn't fall back asleep for the next 30 minutes because I was laughing so hard. 😂 Nonetheless, we rarely snuggle before falling asleep now.
If I could talk to the founding fathers: 1. Women should get to vote right away; 2. Abolish slavery immediately. Wonder how different our country would have looked if those two things would have happened in 1776? Thanks for giving us something to ponder!
