HAE is accessible only in Heat, and uses up quite a hefty amount of Heat bar when transition is used (like, 66% when you have 0 stacks, then less the more stacks you have gathered across the whole match). This means you have only few occasions to use it in the round/match. In T7 you could use the mixup multiple times in a round, also as an oki - this is no longer the case in T8.
the fact that her stances are safer in comparison to other stance characters is insulting to the stance type characters that actually have to work for their damage instead of getting bonus damage through rounds because of some arbitrary extra ability now
I think she's pretty much ok, besides b1, ff1 and ff2, she's pretty much unsafe (damn, man, flash punches now being launch punishable IS something to consider). I don't think THAT one move we are concerned should be only -11 tho, but that's literally just it. I can't wait to play her.

Nina 2 is one of the worst picks for a DLC character at this point. I can't imagine the season pass sales being high. Eddy is cool, but he's definitely not a selling point. It would make sense to go with a high selling point after Eddy. Ancient Ogre would've been perfect to go along with the Tekken 3 theme. A Ogre and Jun reunion fight would've kept the hype alive.
Lidia looks cool. I'm really thinking they're just trying to make all the characters strong as hell. Like the power floor is higher in Tekken 8 and it's taking getting used to.

she has too many hop and mini dodges in-between stance transitions, low punches are going to miss wildly and she is going to be a crush specialist to the maximum annoyance of balance overall....its no good how safe this character is.... its almost on the same level of abuse as LEO....

It's a strong powercrush for sure but calling it the best before she's even out or before it's been tested is jumping the gun a bit. Maybe if it launches on normal hit. I do see it launching on CH in the trailer.
