Came lookin' for guitar help on Diamonds & Gasoline and wound up watching all your vids. Commenting on this one cause, damn! Really felt you on this one brother. Great sound.
Hey man, can you do some logan halstead and/or chris knight? Not only am I using your videos to sharpen my guitar skills, but you have the best damn covers I've seen on UA-cam to date as far as the kind of music I am into. It would be greatly appreciated
I dont know if im right in saying this but i call it drop C# and the dumbed down explanation is just exactly like the drop D tuning but everything is another half step lower! I don’t know if that matches wht Town Mountain does or not but personally i like the sound of it! I’d recommend playing around with it, its a really cool song!
Like I said I’d gladly Venmo for a quick lesson. I saw you mention it’s in drop D and using D,G, & A but I can’t seem to get it right. Sounds great tho man
Thanks, I'm trying to learn this on a banjo, guitar and dulcimer. Im also trying to do the song Dear Mr Fantasy by the band Traffic from the 60s into a bluegrass version
Im a half step down, then my low “E” string goes down another whole step making it a C#! Its all just hammer ons between the Cadd 9 shape and the Dropped D version of G shape! Hope that helps
Hey man thanks for showing me how to play it right. Couldn't figure out why i couldn't sing it - drop D AND tuned down 1/2 step was the key....
🔥🔥🔥🔥
👏👏👏
Absolutely awesome brother. Keep it up. I’d rather listen to this cover than the original.

Comin soon!
Sounds awesome man. Been trying to figure this song out. Are you in dropD?
Sort of! Drop C# its the same idea as drop D just everything another half step lower
Are you playing this in drop D tuning? It sounds great.
Hey thanks man! It’s basically a drop D but a half step down on each string. Drop C#, if you will! Cheers!
Fuck yeah bro this song is awesome
Awesome, best seen yet! Are you Drop D and would love to know that intro riff

well you nailed! Going to give it a try if I can get your intro riffs down.
I can't like this twice. It's a shame. You should come to Franklin so we can play.
Killer cover man! Do you still remember the picking pattern after the D chord from the beginning?
Hey thanks man sorry for the late response but yes i do!
hey man great job! do you have a link for chords for this version?
Im in dropped D and its just D and G and then there’s an A added in there for the bridge
I just learned by playing around with the picking for a little while!
I’d happily pay to get a tutorial on this song, can’t find the chords or anything anywhere. Thanks man!
I’d be happy to!
Like I said I’d gladly Venmo for a quick lesson. I saw you mention it’s in drop D and using D,G, & A but I can’t seem to get it right. Sounds great tho man

Are you tuned to drop D?
Sorta, same concept but half a step down from that! Drop C# i suppose, “Down Low” hahaha
Thanks, I'm trying to learn this on a banjo, guitar and dulcimer. Im also trying to do the song Dear Mr Fantasy by the band Traffic from the 60s into a bluegrass version

You sing better than they do
dude, trying to tune by ear, not going so well! What notes are you playing in walk up/down in into? Thanks, rookie!

How did you learn this??
Just picked away at it man! You could say i “fingered it out” lol
@@rileytaylor6757 alright for sure, great job btw I could seriously see you making it big, you write any of your own stuff?
@@jimmyparkermusic i try my best!! I have a few dittys so far but i’d love to really start putting mire tine into writing. Thanks man much appreciated
You should do a lesson on this one.
You thumb down this and me and you gonna have to fight.
intro
Sounds like something from Friday night lights
G.D. Filmworks what a great show
So good. Your voice deserves a better a guitar though. Try one of the Koa Taylor’s I think that would suit your voice really well!
