Pretty sure “open” is Sukuna opening the black box in his brain, the thing responsible for the connecting the brain to cursed energy. Sukuna is able to manipulate this box which is how he can learn/mimic techniques, like the fire arrow against jogo.
I just love Sukuna's maniacal laugh. Have no idea how many times I've re-watched Sukuna vs Jogo...the animation, soundtrack, fights, Toji and Megumi...this episode was just one word: PEAK! And there's still more to come...Anyone notice Sukuna's fire has green and purple in its flames unlike Jogo's? Thank you Michael 😁
The Final Moments with Jogo and Tojo Legit had me in TEARS MAN😭😭😭 Am honestly really glad that both Jogo and Toji got to die with that last bit of character development.
Toji finally knows what truly makes him happy (at the very least, relieved), and Jogo got a verified certification from the true masterchief in the game, respect to all of them despite those (honestly) shitty wrongdoings
for Jogo, who's been nothing but a punching bag for most of the series to receive praise from the King of Curses himself, is the highest honor one could receive.
I mean 10 shadows is the technique of the person who defeated/killed a past user of the six eyes ( aka gojo technique ) in a distant past, so it makes sense a clan like the Zenin's would treat someone with that technique well
@@infamous-drive6299 lmao they didnt defeat the previous 6 eyes and limitless user. In the manga megumi mentions that the ten shadows guy forced used mahoraga i.e he hadnt tamed mahoraga(no one has been able to except sukuna later on) but he sytarted the summouning ritual this resulted in mahoraga killing both the ten shadow user and the gojo clasn guy. So it would be unfair to say gojo clan was defeated i would rather say it won as zenin clasn guy had to use basically a suicide measure
I think people tend to forget just how big a deal Domain Expansion is. It is the pinnacle of Jujutsu Sorcery and just having one, even an incomplete one like Megumi, immediately puts you above just about everyone who doesn't, at least power wise outside of exceptional cases. So Toji's instincts most likely decided to go after Megumi BECAUSE he's the one he knows has a Domain. He entered Dagon's through the Hole Megumi's Shadow Garden made in it, after all.
22:12 You'll learn more about Uraume later on. Uraume was first shown in Season 1 episode 21 btw they were talked about for a few seconds. Gege also hasn't confirmed Uraume's gender yet with their pronouns being They/Them and everyone referring to them as such in the Manga. But most of the community presumes that they're female.
Imagine how terrifying it has to be for megumi, you see a random guy obliterate a special grade curse that 3 grade 1 sorcerers were struggling against, and then that guy decides to randomly isolate you in the middle of a desolate city and hunt you down. Its like having symbiote peter hunt you down just without the webs. But megumi did pretty good considering the circumstances. Hes definitely tojis son that's for sure.
The most mind blowing thing about Sukuna saying “petty”. Like how most Jujutsu Sorcerers explain their techniques to amplify its strength in which in this case Sukuna didn’t, implied he will just be using an ordinary attack on Jogo 😂😭
God the scene of Megumi and Toji is such a beautiful scene because Toji was always treated like 💩💩 by the zenin clan. Toji's last words caused Gojo to take care of megumi etc... And now when megumi is in danger due to Toji's threatening/killer instinct, he recognises megumi from remembering his beloved wife's voice causing his consciousness to return and "softly" asked his son's name and as soon as he finds out from megumi response, he was pleased that he isn't identified as a zenin and killed himself so that he is no longer a threat to his own son 😢😢
@@conrase3520 For sure!!!! Yes he has made some wrong choices in his life but in the end he had pure intentions for his close ones, I mean he saved the zenin crew from dagon and he died so megumi isn't in danger 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
This episode was beautifully crafted man. One of the best JJK episodes to date. It had everything. Beautiful animation, hype moments, insane fights, emotions, connections we didn't know existed, and a wee bit of ✨️foreshadowing✨️.
the part where Sukuna compliment jogo was absolutely special ... especially when we go back in season 1 Gojo cooked him and said "you are weak" mercilessly 😂😂 to get compliment from sukuna, someone the same calibre as Gojo who ridicule him must be a good redemption arc for him. 😊
Actually i love how these 2 recent episodes displayed how strong Jogo actually is true he lost to Gojo in 1st season but he is still pretty strong, we saw Sukuna clowning on that special grade curse in the 1st season aswell so for Jogo to actually keep up with a 15 fingers Sukuna is a massive feat That last scene with Megumi is gonna crazy next week
Sukuna vs Jogo is already fight of the year for me, that was magnificent and PEAK of Shonen anime ❤🔥🔥🔥 these animators deserve triple pay for these gorgeous scenes 🙏
For everyone who didn't know, Kusakabe is voiced by Shinichiro Miki, the voice behind: Kisuke Urahara, Pedro from One Piece, James from Pokemon, Roy Mustang, Knov, Sir Nighteye, Kenji Hagiwara and many more characters. Oh and yeah, idk how I should explain it but Larue (dude with the heart nipples) is spoken by Show Hayami, aka Aizen Sosuke, Odin and Nicholas D. Wolfwood 😅
Let’s add some more voice actor connections. The voice of Panda is Tomokazu Seki who was in Weiss Kreuz with Shnichiro Miki and Koyasu Takehito (Toji) and was the voice of Kyo in the original run of Fruits Basket while in the new Fruits Basket, Kyo is played by Yuma Uchida, who voices Megumi in JJK.
Props to Michael:) first time seeing his reaction video but by far the best:) the only one i saw who truly acknowledged Jogo’s power, even though is nothing to Sukuna, I actually was searching reaction vids to this eps hoping somebody would acknowledge that Jogo is insanely powerful, just unlucky he fought the 2 top guys in the series. Well done
The ending scene between jogo and sukuna really goes to highlight the fundamental divide between sukuna and gojo. From the infamous "you're weak" scene to sukuna's "you're strong", the nuances in sukuna's character are very underappreciated bc of his hype scenes but he'll get a whole more to come in the future i cant wait🙏🏾
Remember Toji had become a murder machine now, unconsciously going after Megumi because he was the strongest there (he can only be stopped when the vessel/the grandson's body is destroyed). When he realizes that Megumi is his son, Toji kills himself to save his son's life, which means at the end of the day, he still loves and cares about Megumi no matter what (he thinks about his son every time right before he dies). Also upon realizing who Megumi was, Toji thought back to the moment when he asked Gojo to take in his son and that's why he asked Megumi his name; to make sure that Gojo actually took in his son and that Megumi wasn't associated with the Zenin clan at all. I don't have anything against Toji, to be honest. He was an amazing husband to Megumi's mom (that is what Gege Akutami said in an interview) but unfortunately turned out to be a deadbeat dad simply because Megumi's mom passed away right after Megumi's birth which is really sad and heartbreaking. Also, the way the Zenin family treated him while he was growing up (like the way they treat Maki now), I understand why he turned out that way. Nonetheless, he was a cool top-tier character like Gojo and we love him for that. Also, his death was bittersweet and understandable since during the 1st time around, Gojo killed him and it would be kind of disrespectful if someone else who's not Gojo or not at the same level as Gojo killed him; so he kills himself off. Just that much of a badass he is... RIP Toji Fushiguro. 🙏❤
That Sukuna v Jogo fight was crazy, they killed it. When Sukuna says "open" or "fuga", the square before that in the subs wasn't an error in case you were wondering that's in the manga as well. It's implying Sukuna said something else and was opening something we don't know about. The square is black in the manga so the community sometimes calls it "black box" or "open". The Megumi v Toji fight was great too and that flashback really showed how he cared for Megumi. He saw great talent and potential in his son and was gonna sell him to the Zenin clan because he thought he'd have a better life there compared to himself. Despite Toji convincing himself he doesn't care anymore to emotionally distance himself he still kills himself so he doesn't go on a rampage again and kill his son. He ain't the father of the year but he does care for his son. Btw we don't know Uraume's gender yet so you just use they/them to refer to them for now until we learn it in the future. The craziness is about to continue next episode and I can't wait to see your reaction to it.
This is just my theory because it hasn’t been fully explained. I think Toji killed himself so abruptly because he was only able to gain consciousness momentarily, when he remembered Megumi. I feel like he didn’t want to take the chance of turning back into the killing machine and killing his own son, so he took his own life before that could happen.
God .... I'm sorry but both Toji and Sukuna were the Goats of this episode, Toji had the best fighting choreography and Sukuna currently has the most spotlight of current shibuya as of now 💯💯
Dude they got across just how crazy strong Jogo is soooooooo much better then in the manga and by extent how crazy strong Sukuna is. Jogo actually jumped up in terms of villians in this series after this for me.
Can’t wait for next episode, this episode was crazy, shows how powerful sukana was with only 15 fingers, I don’t even think he went FP against gojo it’s crazy
Kusakabe isn't a coward, just a realist. He knows he doesn't stand a chance against the likes of fake Geto, Jogo, ect. He could compete with them and honestly stand some chance of winning...he just doesn't want to take that chance if the odds of dying are also there.
The "ten" Naobito mentioned in past age is supposed to be ten-hundred million yen. In Japanese, the counting of numbers is separated by every four digits.

20:35 that's the greatest thing in the whole series 🙏, try remembering what megumi did at the end of his fight with sukuna in season 1 before he was stopped
W ep, im glad to know that sukuna js not like usual villains, who just care about destruction and disrespect enemies, he commended jogo for his strength, and gave him a good idea kf what it is like to be human
Sukuna was a human, a magician in jujutsu, and the most powerful shaman even before he was cursed and became a curse. Also, when he was human, people called him the King of Curses because he was scary and evil, and when he became a curse, he became this powerful, meaning his powers are a mixture between magic and a curse, so he is very strong and also possesses more than twenty. Different and secret technology. He can see it, and this power is the reason why Gojo admires and praises Sukuna❤❤

thanks to you Michael, now i just cannot stop imagining what Toji vs Sukuna wokld be like💀
Wow was not expecting jogo to get killed so early that was surprising great episode it was fire🔥pun intended
Michael’s reactions are so good that I forgot he had to mute the sound to prevent UA-cam banning the vid!

YOOO‼️fight was so insaneee, Gojo, Toji n Sukuna are on different levels, 🤯megumi got saved by that father’s love ❤️🔥fire ep literally n reaction 🔥🤞🏾
11:50 Aizen's voice actor baby! Such a silky voice.
we no longer play simon says in this house. Its now Sukana Commands
He said i wouldn't do anything pety like revealing my technique because in jjk world, revealing your technique to your opponents makes it stronger
The sukuna vs jogo was fire but toji vs megumi is something
Sukana: we can do this the easy way or the hard way the choice is yours
10:28 that's right, i always wanted to see toji vs sukuna.
