Lovely video! wonder if you were aware when you were filming the Congress building, the statue of The Thinker, it was made by Rodin, with the same mould used for the famous statue, he cast 3 versions with the original mould, one of them is the one placed in the sqaure you visited.
Looking forward to more videos of Buenos Aires. Also I’ve mentioned before how much I like this particular song of yours “Choosing To Stay” that’s playing throughout the video.

Hi, Claire: May I suggest taking a Tren de la Costa ride to the Tigre Delta - and then a boat tour (which should include the art museum). You'd need to take the D subway to the Carranza station, and from there a northbound train to the Mitre station in Olivos. What tourist trap to avoid most? Definitely 'La Boca'. Often mis-described as the "Italian neighborhood" in guide books, it *hasn't* been that in 50 years - and is instead now a run-down, dangerous ghetto with only that one pastel-colored street worth even a look. All in all, a waste of time. All the Best!
Very nice video, Claire. I missed hearing your verdict about the meat you ate. Wasn't it good enough? In the Montserrat neighborhood I strongly suggest you to visit San Telmo (Saint Elmo), is the most interesting area with antique shops, tango venues, a street flea market in Plazoleta Dorrego and more. Its boundaries are the streets Chile & San Juan, in the east-west sense, and Piedras & Av Ingeniero Huergo on the north-south sense. From there you can go to Puerto Madero.

First of all, nice video and I'm very happy that you're visiting Argentina. So, now I'm going to leave you some recomendations for : 1) Don't leave without trying Ice cream, pastrys or wines. 2) I don't know what kind of music you like but now that you're here try to listen a local band knowned as SODA STEREO. Just go to any store near your place and you'll find them. You won't regreat it. That's it. I hope that you enjoy every moment in this country. Bye. . No te arrepentirás. Eso es todo. Deseo que disfrutes cada momento en este país. Adiós.
For those who are curious, at 9:45 you can see the General San Martin's Mausoleum. He is considered the father of Argentina, due to his successful military campaigns that lead the country to its independance. He also helped in the independance of Chile and Perú.
