Batman: Arkham (also commonly known by the fan-originated term Arkhamverse) is a series of action-adventure video games based on the DC Comics character Batman, developed by Rocksteady Studios and WB Games Montréal, and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The first two Rocksteady games were written by veteran Batman writer Paul Dini and featured voice actors Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill reprising their roles as Batman and the Joker, respectively, from the DC Animated Universe (DCAU). Conroy and Hamill returned to voice their characters in the fourth main installment of the series, Batman: Arkham Knight. The franchise consists of four main titles, with additional mobile games, and a virtual reality game, Batman: Arkham VR, also developed by Rocksteady.
The first game, Batman: Arkham Asylum (2009), is set on Arkham Island, which houses the eponymus Arkham Asylum, home of Batman's greatest villains. Its story centers around Batman facing his archenemy, the Joker, who has taken over Arkham and trapped Batman inside with his incarcerated foes, while threatening Gotham City with hidden bombs. Players assume the role of Batman and must defeat the escaped inmates, while also uncovering a plot orchestrated by the Joker involving a super-steroid called "Titan". The second game, Batman: Arkham City (2011), is set one year later, within the titular Arkham City, a new super-prison based in the decaying urban slums of Gotham. When Batman is incarcerated in the prison, he must uncover a sinister scheme orchestrated by Arkham City's warden, Hugo Strange, while also contending with other villains taking advantage of the prison's lawlessness, including the Joker, who is slowly dying from a disease inflicted by the unstable Titan, and forces Batman to find a cure by infecting him as well. The third main game in the series, Batman: Arkham Origins (2013), serves as a prequel set five years before Arkham Asylum, and follows a younger and less-refined Batman, who becomes the target of eight deadly assassins hired by crime lord Black Mask to kill him on Christmas Eve; he must also contend with the Gotham City police, who attempt to hunt him down, and other villains taking advantage of the chaos, including the Joker, whom Batman encounters for the first time. The fourth and final installment, Batman: Arkham Knight (2015), set nine months after Arkham City, sees Scarecrow forcing a citywide evacuation in Gotham and uniting some of Batman's greatest enemies in an attempt to destroy him once and for all, aided by the mysterious Arkham Knight; while working with his allies to defeat the villains and restore justice to Gotham, Batman must also contend with an illness caused by the late Joker, which is slowly transforming him into the Joker.
The main installments in the Batman Arkham series have been met with widespread critical acclaim, with praise for their narratives, voice acting, world design, graphics, and gameplay systems and design, along with the faithfulness to the source material.

What’s the most realistic difficulty to play on based on his strength, armor, and skills?
I know it is a year late, but I like to point out something. While I do not know the comics you are using, I see plenty of movies to know that you made one major error here. You count Assault on Arkham as part of the Arkham Universe.
That is a big error as that movie happens to be part of the DC Original Movies, which are animated movies that are not connected to any other universe but itself. It is like saying that "The Batman" (2021) is part of the Dark Knight Universe.
I would rank this video 4/5 for that small error.
GREAT CRISIS POWER SCALING ARKHAM VERSE BATMAN 🦇
Arkhamverse Batman is probably one of the most OP versions out there. He's an absolute beast.

How strong is the Arkham Batman? Is that the strongest version? And to put it in perspective how much stronger is he compared to the strongest men in the real world? Some versions of Batman show him literally dodging bullets, which isn't right. The "true" method he implements is that he predicts when they'll fire the shot and dodges right before they fire. The thing about Batman is that no one thing you show him doing would make someone "superhuman", its just that fact that he has ALL those skills that make it seem impossible - hence him being the pinnacle of human ability.
Exactly.
Probably anticipates his opponents making calculations of the bullets trajectory while looking at his opponents capabilities and the firearm being used as he's avoiding the bullets but that's what all human characters in without powers do it in comics.
*under the red hood intensifies*
Idk in the comics he does pretty obviously superhuman shit on a consistent basis….even here the speed at which he fights, speed at which parries from enemy to enemy, the speed at which he covers ground, the power behind his punches and attacks, the blows and falls he takes, etc are all far beyond impossible for real humans
He lifted 10 tons, how is that possible?
Let’s be honest, if Batman allowed himself to kill, he would be 10x stronger with stronger gear
Ever wondered where he gets that extraordinary will power from??? Because he is still on a mission to avenge his parents by making Gotham a better place. The first time he kills, that mission would be over and he would turn into the weakest person ever. An example is when he hallucinates killing a militia in front of scarecrow in the airships in AK

Arkham Batman is one the strongest incarnations of the Dark Knight. Even before he became Batman he defeated Lady Shiva, the best martial artist in the world and was able to deal with 8 assassins and rightfully kick their asses during his *second year* as Batman.
Arkhan Batman is a one man army. No wonder the Militia in Arkham Knight spent 3 billion dollars trying to take him down.

The thing about dodging bullets, it's more possible that he's faster than the shooter than the actual bullet since it still takes time to actually ignite and fire a gun which is enough time to get out of the way. I'd also imagine reflexes way faster than a normal human reaction time (250ms vs the low 120ms of some athletes) would also help with that.
I believe watching these clips once more he is faster than bullets at certain moments. I believe it varies tbh. As was stated Arkham Knight suit enhanced his already amazing speed. So basically, Batman is superman
No superhuman
I know it's all very confusing on how he's a normal human but can do all these crazy super powered feats. But there is a pretty definitive explanation as to why he can do all those things...
He's Batman
Superman can't match Batman's mental strength. Superman goes nuts when Lois dies. Batman on the other hand fights through the pain whenever a member of the bat family dies
I totally agree with that but I will say that the whole superman going crazy about Lois's death was from the injustice story which isn't the main DC comic universe. Superman has dealt with many deaths including Lois in other stories and worlds and hasn't turned crazy like injustice superman. It is honestly just depending on the writer, the story, and the type of superman that is being dealt with. There are plenty of story's where batman has done the same thing as injustice superman over the death of a loved one.
Main universe superman and batman are both good at controlling their selves before crossing that line. But in the context of who these characters are, batman most definitely has more self control. Superman has more physical strength to control himself and his certain actions but mentally, batman is stronger
All of this power just to be killed by fucking Harley Quinn.

I think his Arkham Knight armor is movement enhancing, not that his prior suits were inhibiting him, but his new suit made him faster
Nah Lucius Fox clearly says that since this suit is liquid body armor compared to the ceramics and fibers in his previous suits, it’s more flexible and ALLOWS FOR greater maneuverability, meaning his older suits lowered his speed. It also absorbs G forces which allows him to do stuff like the super eject in the batmobile and it’s also why the grapnel booster is even faster in Arkham Knight than in Origins and City
He's the most OP base batman. He doesn't require prep time. He just needs attack potency and his batsuits. He has beat Solomon Grundy with his bare hands and that's pretty strong since Solomon Grundy almost rivals superman level strength. Arkham Batman isn't like comics base batman who requires prep time all the time. Even though comics batman is stronger. Arkham Batman doesn't use prep all the time. He has his own feats
True it's mostly Alfred or Barbara doing the preparation, Batman gets information from them and prepares while on his nightly patrol
@@cage5591 yeah. He many times requires the justice league or a sixth dimensional being to help him make a strong batsuit.
As OP as “base” Arkham Batman is, he is absolutely not more OP than “base” comics batman. And again, Arkham Batman’s feats are insane but they are still out scaled by comics Batman’s feats. It just so happens that in the comics Batman also has to fight bad guys that are villains of much more powerful heroes on a regular basis due to his involvement with the JL. Which is why you see him use prep time more often in the comics than the game (like when he fought Reverse Flash in the Doomsday clock story, or when he fought the world forger in DC frontier). Also the game takes place in one night whereas the comics have storylines that last over a long period of time, so ofc you’re gonna see the tactical side of Batman more often in comics than in the game
Side note: Solomon Grundy, while he’s always very strong, his strength has always been inconsistent. At times he’s shown as being able to hurt Superman while other times he can get punched out by batman. And as strong as Batman is, even at his absolute best he’s nowhere near the strength of Superman.

But realistically Batman is still human. He'd get crushed by cosmetic heroes like Wonder Woman, Raven, Superman and Starfire.
@@dtxspeaks268 yeah but thats the thing, he could be beaten. Hell, he's gonna get beaten by lots of dudes. Its the prep time that makes him dangerous
@@Man-Alsume-Man yea and how he also know mostly every other hero weakness

Big fan of your content, great job on your videos
This deserves a lot more views
The outro is so good btw
Other Batman’s: needs plot armor to win.
This Batman: the villains get the plot armor to have a fair chance.
Well, Deathstroke is a super soldier and Batman easily defeated him in Arkham Origins, and to be honest I didn't like that a lot since I'm also a Deathstroke fan but this Batman is really a beast, I loved the acrobatics and strength he shows in these games, it's a lot like the comics, a great Batman
I think the reason Batman defeated deathstroke so easily in hand to hand combat was the new suit and deathstroke may have been injured during the tank battle great video though
Na Batman did him dirty
@@terenceneedham9064 Wrong, it's just game developers are lazy.
Deathstroke being taken to a jail cell is the most insulting. He could easily just quietly leave the Batmobile without Batman knowing. It’s more like Deathstroke was the imposter than the real Deathstroke.
@@killerwakyduck4183 Good point, but that measly set of handcuffs wasn't enough to hold down the real Deathstroke. Also, Deathstroke would never casually just let Batman escort him to the jail cell. LMAO. He'd find a way to get out and escape.
@@BrandonNielsen87 maybe batman hit him so hard in origins that it gave him brain damage that his healing factor couldnt heal similar to the eye
The reason he can snap swords is because the things on his arm are designed to do that that's why they are called sword breakers they are real and were used a lot in history
This was dope great video man

This is a flawless video imo.
That was the best narrative of The Dark Knight I’ve ever seen. Fantastic!!

this is a great video, you have clearly done your research and it shows, very well done and entertaining, and props to you my guy. btw, what is that outro beat, cuz its absolutely heat!
Excellent video! 👏
This Batman is such a badass and has probably one if not the best joker with him. These games are fun and are probably legendary level it’s crazy
Batman lifts up other huge bulky dudes with a single hand while interrogatng them dude has insane strength

Well you better lookout for the rock ceaser

Arkhamverse Batman is unbelievably strong and agile. He eats strikes from pipes, fights much larger men (who would have to be Shaq size), and does those weird barrel roll moves to jump ACROSS battlefields full of enemies. He also strikes so hard he sends tough criminals flying in mid-air like rag dolls. To do all this somehow without killing… not even on accident. Which means his precision in both striking and his control over his force/impact must be unrivaled.
Edit: also in terms of mental strength, he also overcomes Scarecrow’s strongest doses of fear toxin (which Scarecrow says would drive multiple people insane) just through sheer force of will.
This batman is the most powerful thing ever and it's not even close
Sure
Batman in comics is more powerful.
@@kordellswoffer1520 the comics ? That’s pretty vague
@@crumble2073 not really as most version of Batman in comics is more powerful. So I don’t need to specific.
He isn’t.
this channel is underrated

Batman in the Arkhamverse was crazy strong and fast even the TAS can't do half the things the Arkhamverse Batman does.
No other Batman can top Arkham Batman.
@@Samuel152 comic batman
@@Bopmyglizz Comic Batman got his back broken by Bane because he was exhausted after spending several days rounding up all of his rogues gallery when they escaped from Arkham Asylum. Arkham Batman does that in one night in all four games and doesn't get tired.
“As each one of the Arkham games takes place over the span of a single night” a major flex that most video game characters cant say theyve done haha💪🏽
I remember his throwing a same takedown move in both AC and AK but with significantly different level of impact from one another. In AC when he did it the thug would get knocked away a few feet from him whereas in AK he literally sent the thug flying. It’s like Bruce was juicing so much in between both games
Batman saves Gotham in a 12 hour shift that's crazy
12 hours? 5 of those hours were just collecting riddler trophies god I hate them so much
@@aditya3127 in my canon Riddler is filler 😭😭😭
When you realize that Batman had already completed the game before it even began...
In the comics he's even more OP as he as by himself created a cloning machine and a time machine. Defeated deathstroke and deadshot at the same time and Defeated aquaman in h2h and DC comics Frankenstein who is no joke.
You mean solomon graundy?
@@rikuto6690 no I'm talking about the S.H.A.D.E member Frankenstein look him up he's no joke. With that being said Batman has also on many occasions has beaten Solomon Grundy which is another villain that Arrow stole from Batman.
@@FriendlyBatDoom graundy is from Superman originally but he walk a lot between bat and sups and sometimes other like green arrow like you said
But yeah shade is no joke
Nah in the comics Slade beats up Batman 50% of the time, and even normal thugs can prove a challenge
Here Batman destroys Slade in his SECOND YEAR, Lady Shiva too, beats Solomon Grundy without too much effort, beats Bane as well, and much more
The inventions don't matter since Arkham's universe has different laws
How does this video only have 21k views? This is a disgrace. This video deserves at the very minimum 1M views.
This version of Batman beat Deathstroke in there first encounter. That's unbelievable.
Loved this video
Arkham city is my favourite Arkham game and it’s mainly because it was the first Arkham game I played as a kid, I love it because it brings back memories not just playing through major moments like the ending but the whole game.
Arkham Batman is probably the most OP version of the character I've seen next to maybe Brave and the Bold.
Most other adaptations and even sometimes in the comics, Batman would sometimes have trouble fighting three or four basic thugs. He'd also sometimes have trouble fighting Joker and Scarecrow in straight fights (though that depends on the writer), and there's no way he'd fight Bane the same way he does in the Arkham series.
Before Arkham, he used to lose badly against Deathstroke in a straight fight in his prime in the comics. Arkham Origins Batman handily won against Deathstroke in his SECOND YEAR AS BATMAN and now comics Batman can beat him rather easily, something I'm not entirely okay with. Adaptations color perception of the character a little too well.
Funnily enough, I recently read the first time batman encountered deathstroke. I think they handled it rather well. They both got the shit kicked out of them, I believe deathstroke won in the end, but getting away made the remark "I've fought and beaten the best fighters in the world. He was better than all of them." Cool moment.
You have said a lot of wrong intel.
Batman does not have trouble against multiple thugs, he has fought literally hundreds before, he does not have trouble against Scarcrow or Joker in 1 v 1 hand to hand combat.
And before Arkham Deathstroke beat Batman in a extreme diff fight ONCE but Batman has defeated Deathstroke before. One time Batman has defeated Deathstroke and Deadshot at the same time. Most times they fight in the comics is a draw.
@@BruceWayne-fj9bm
@Bruce Wayne
I can point out several dozen issues (particularly the Bronze Age--which is actually extremely important to the modern mythos) and even episodes of the Animated Series (you know, the "best Batman show ever") that prove otherwise.
In particular Joker's fighting abilities. Joker beat the *shit* out of Batman as early as his first appearance. Even something as recent as Joker War has Joker nearly win a straight fight against Batman.
The fights Batman and Deathstroke had in recent comics mostly ended in a draw. Batman can't beat Deathstroke quite easily
It gets boring to see your hero curb stomp every adversary that crosses pass with him. They need to struggle a little to keep readers engaged.
