Achilles come down but you're an angel watching from the top of a skyscraper the body, down below, of someone who committed, you can hear the echo of the sirens come from somewhere but you can't see them. You shed a single tear, not like anyone is gonna notice it fall among the rain.

I love how when the two voices are talking over each other, they completely overlap when they say "Be done with this now and jump off the roof" and "Be done with this now and get off the roof". They are both asking him to get off the roof, but one is safe and one isn't. The fact that they overlap and what is said is unclear just seems so perfect as it all sends the same message.
You felt yourself hit the ground with a crash, it didn't hurt, actually quite the opposite you couldn't feel anything. You could hardly feel the gravel that was grinding into your back, you couldn't see your own twisted and mangled arms, you couldn't see the blood seeping from the back of your head. But that's all the paramedics saw when they arrived on scene. A sad lonely corpse, someone who couldn't handle the weight of the world so they decided to fly for a moment before crashing to blackness. Now, they're holding you while your consciousness is fading. You feel yourself being taken away and being put in a soft surface. The music doesn't stop, it stays with you, following your everystep. imagine if that first part up until the “just humor us achilles, achilles come down, won’t you get up off, get up off the roof” was the normal version of the song and the there’s this abrupt stop before all the talking and it fades into the type of sound in the video for the talking piece to make it sound like people are talking about what to do. there’s no siren sounds at first but they slowly fade in as the song continues, and later you hear the ambulance doors closing but it’s faded like the song and it continues how it is.

This is really perfect for a scene I'm reading in my book (kidnapped children appeared against all odds, everyone's panicking, one of the kids is the main character's son, the other is going to die if they can't manage to cure him in time, he can barely keep his eyes open...) so thank you, I can stress the fuck out in peace
POV: You finally did it. After days, weeks, months of this feeling. The feeling of never being good enough , that nobody cares enough about you or even likes you. You jumped. Hearing the ambulance calmes you and you imagine that finally someone cares, that someone will safe you. But the last thing you see are not people running to you or the ambulance finally arriving. No, the people are just running past you even though you're laying in the middle of the sidewalk in the busiest part of the city. Some are even walking straight over you. When you see the ambulance you feel hope. But it doesn't stop where you're laying. It drives past you and the paramedics don't even look at you while driving further and further down the street. So you lay there for minutes that feel like hours listening to that song that plays on repeat in your head and think how well this song fits this situation. And very slowly everything goes quiet and dark.

I was just thinking in a Au (the lawsuit) wear Bucks mental state got so bad that we was going to jump and this is the song for that. The 118 comes to the scene to see buck on the floor and they were to late. He had a note in his shorts and they read it. It read “dear the 118; my family. I’m sorry I jumped but I had to. He went to the funeral, it was deserted, except for his mother.
He waited for her to leave, he wanted to be with Achilles for the last time. Being in front of the tombstone, he touched it. It felt like his skin.

He kissed the stone.

This is actually true to a certain degree. Like when I was in a motorcycle crash, I didn't feel any pain for several minutes, until help arrives.
It's probably also the reason why people often make it to the hospital, then have a cardiac arrest the second they arrive
That's not even remotely factual, actually. Adrenaline can't prolong your life to that degree, nor will it stop pumping until the immediate threat to your life is eliminated. Don't spread misleading information!

The sound of water being splashed and the sensation of your body being slightly lifted surrounds you. Everything feels so far away. You hear sirens, perhaps someone called an ambulance? You do not know. Aside from the noisy and irritant ambulance noises, you hear a paniked, yet soothing voice. It sings a familiar tune. You know who that person is, for you sang that song for each other at your worst times. You forgot them, you forgot how they cared so deeply. Now, they're holding you while your consciousness is fading. You feel yourself being taken away and being put in a soft surface. The music doesn't stop, it stays with you, following your everystep. You and that person are inside the hambulence, going to the hospital. You're unstable, you hear the doctors say. The song becomes more and more muffled. You feel as if someone is holding your hand. Your brain stops processing correctly and you finally become unconcious, not knowing if you will ever wake up.

imagine if that first part up until the “just humor us achilles, achilles come down, won’t you get up off, get up off the roof” was the normal version of the song and the there’s this abrupt stop before all the talking and it fades into the type of sound in the video for the talking piece to make it sound like people are talking about what to do. there’s no siren sounds at first but they slowly fade in as the song continues, and later you hear the ambulance doors closing but it’s faded like the song and it continues how it is.
For some reason this really lulls me to sleep. I don’t know if I feel like I’m finally dead or finally saved. either way, great for the insomnia. thanks!

POV: You finally did it. After days, weeks, months of this feeling. The feeling of never being good enough , that nobody cares enough about you or even likes you. You jumped. Hearing the ambulance calmes you and you imagine that finally someone cares, that someone will safe you. But the last thing you see are not people running to you or the ambulance finally arriving. No, the people are just running past you even though you're laying in the middle of the sidewalk in the busiest part of the city. Some are even walking straight over you. When you see the ambulance you feel hope. But it doesn't stop where you're laying. It drives past you and the paramedics don't even look at you while driving further and further down the street. So you lay there for minutes that feel like hours listening to that song that plays on repeat in your head and think how well this song fits this situation. And very slowly everything goes quiet and dark.

Omfg I’ve been watching 9-1-1 since it started and I was thinking about the same thing once I started to hear this song. I was just thinking in a Au (the lawsuit) wear Bucks mental state got so bad that we was going to jump and this is the song for that. The 118 comes to the scene to see buck on the floor and they were to late. He had a note in his shorts and they read it. It read “dear the 118; my family. I’m sorry I jumped but I had to. I love you all and tell your family’s I love them to. Thank you all and I was never mad at you in the first state. I had the law suit to protect you. My lawyer was going to sue the city if I didn’t. I was offered 7 million dollars. He told me to give it to him once I filed the lawsuit. I refused and dropped it. He was going to come for me anyway and kill me. Eventually he tells him what he's attempting and the song starts. At "I'm talking to you", Achilles just says, "I will miss your voice". Patroclus doesn't make it on time. He's running towards the place he knows Achilles will be, to find him on the ground. The police and the ambulance are already on their way, and this version starts; Achilles' last conversation with Patroclus echoing through his mind. Now standing my his bloody body, Patroclus says again "I'm talking to you" and Achilles remembers "Achilles, come down" . He smiles, starting to slip away further, picturing himself and Patroclus at the gates of Heaven. That's when the paramedics come. He's forced to cling to life for just a little bit longer. "How the most dangerous thing is to love" Patroclus thinks, as his loud sobs fade with Achilles' conciousness.
