I haven’t seen all the movies, but out of the ones I have I’d say my favorite is Inception. Christopher Nolan’s take on the world of dreams was just mind blowing and I loved every bit of it. I loved the explanation process, the action, and the funny bits of comedy it had throughout the movie. It was fun, intense, mysterious and so much more.
I think it's probs the most interesting of the Fincher movies I've seen tbh, even though I prefer the Social Network. It's a lot more nuanced than something like Seven, which whilst being more entertaining is a bit shallow in comparison to Zodiac.
My personal top 15 of Fincher, Nolan and Tarantino: 15) Kill Bill 14) Batman Begins 13) Gone Girl 12) Django Unchanden 11) Incepcion 10) Reservoir Dogs 9) The Prestige 8) Zodiac 7) Inglorious Bastards 6) Memento 5) The Dark Knight 4) The Curious Case of Benjamín Button 3) Seven 2) Pulp Fiction 1) Fight Club

@@maxscheidler I still haven't gotten to Harry Potter or Lord of the Rongs so don't feel too bad. It's been hyped up to Star Wars level at this points but it works like the Matrix or The Avengers does to me: true quality action flick and smarter, better than it should be screenplay and technique. I personally connect with The Prestige a bit more but it's probably the best Chriatopher Nolan movie. Adjust your expectations but you are in for a treat one way or another.

Tenet is criminally low one of the most underrated epics of our time if people just realised that and got other the sound editing. The plot is so fascinating in the fact that at the start we are presented with a concept that have a never seen before and b never experienced or understand it but as the movie evolves we gain an unprecedented understanding of its concept through the incredible acting hats off to Pattinson and Washington. Then by the end that fantastic final sequence we are left understanding how and what exactly is happening then we can go back to the start of the film understanding the process and enjoy the visually groundbreaking effects of inversion. The score as well lastly mentioned is incredible it literally feels like inversion, posterity, one of the best scores ever! Furthermore the concept itself when do we ever get a movie where it questions the audience to actually think seems to only be Nolan at the moment
Could not have put it better myself. This is a movie which needs to be watched multiple times as I started to appreciate and understand much more after watching it 2 to 3 times. 10 years down the line, this movie will be considered a classic and people would be wondering why they did not watch it in the theatres.

@@robertmarginean164 ye I can respect that, I love the cast and the overall gritty theme of the movie but to me it doesn’t feel like an as complete story as it should be and the twist was lazy in my opinion. However I was entertained for the full 3 hours so I can’t say I didn’t enjoy it.

I'm from the future. Well done.
Zodiac is easily my favorite movie of all time and everytime I watch it, I end up giving it a standing ovation
Yessir Good perspective.
I think it has a pacing problem a bit in the second act but it's a terrific movie.
I think it's probs the most interesting of the Fincher movies I've seen tbh, even though I prefer the Social Network. It's a lot more nuanced than something like Seven, which whilst being more entertaining is a bit shallow in comparison to Zodiac.

For all three directors of course
Sean: Jackie Brown is Tarantino's only movie that is an adaptation of a previously existing story.
Django: Am I a Joke To You?

Django took the title. Nothing else.
Reservoir Dogs is an unofficial remake. Tarantino has never acknowledged it.

Facts. Over 3 hours is pushing it for me, but if the movie is good the time flies by no matter what.
@@Luca-bv5ic for me, there's no such thing as pushing it if the movies lives up to the runtime. people sit on their butts and watch TV for 6+ hours a day, so whats wrong with really long movies? Fanny and Alexander is a classic, Shoah is a masterpiece, Satantango is my favourite film of all time, Jeanne Dielman is widely regarded as a masterpiece, Brighter Summer Day is regarded by some as the greatest film ever made, as is Andrei Rublev, Barry Lyndon, Once Upon a Time in America, Out 1, Berlin Alexanderplatz, War and Peace etc...

The ones that I've viewed. It's a great idea, and difficult to do these one at a time, and even more so whilst trying to combine their awesome works together for one list. I'm not much of a Nolan Fan. I've only watched four of his film's. And it might be an age thing. I'm middle aged, and I recall going to the theaters to see Pulp Fiction five times
Seven is one of my favorites. Jackie Brown tops my personal list for Quentin's work. But I feel that Inglorious Bastards was the best work that he's done. I also added a couple of his group efforts onto my list. I know a lot of millennials that are big Nolan fans. I'd say that he's the Tarrantino of Gen Y
