I came here from a thermal camo review. This song was playing in the background and I slowly realized I was not annoyed by it... in fact... It's the most badass song I've heard in a while.
"How can it be the guy…if we already got him '95? How, indeed detectives?" "We thought you might be the one to know." "Well,…start asking the right fuckin' questions."
Why, thank you. Please tell me that you aren't one of those people who thinks that most modern music sucks. I like to feel like I'm not the only one who thinks good music can never die.
Great sound with psychedelic-esque vibe - cool singer with a slight Morrisson twang and 1990s jeans - those loose fit jeans dragging and tearing under the boots :)
Nately22 thank you for sharing this comment. Just decided to give them a search. I can see what you mean with the BA’s influence...but this band rips! Thank you!!!
I got to see them last Saturday night!! They did a side set at the Shaky Knees Fest in ATL, May 4. Goat opened for them. Goat is insane, so good....The Angels thundered through their set, every thing like a flesh machine...Stephanie on drums is not a foundation, she is a wall. Awesome show...
The first time I heard the group, they reminded me of the "Iron Butterfly" for some of the Sound and definitely for the Psychedelic nature. I haven't really liked any music since Led Zep disbanded, but these guys are way Cool.
I just heard about this band today and I'm very impressed. No, the lead singer will never be Jim Morrison, and I hope he doesn't follow the path that Jim Morrison took. I think that Jim was way ahead of everyone due to his intellect and poetic lyrics, and sorry to say was too far into the darkness he believed in. I'm really impressed with this group and will follow them closely.
I tend to think hardly any of it is. Two of my favorite bands of all time are fairly new, and they're on a list that includes Pink Floyd and The Who. It's like Neil Young said - it'll never die. Not truly.
Dud! You know whats weird, me and my brothers watched this video a long minute ago now, and we liked the song. Shits dope, but we were logged in under my account and they thought it would be funny to post some shit like that. Man, they're going to laugh when I tell em' about this... that was a good day btw. Shot pool at the pad and drank. Im going to belize here in a lil bit. Peace!
I do not get a Morrison vibe as much from him as I do a Velvet Underground vibe from the entire crew. Not that they sound like the VU ...but the approach is so similar..

A bloke in the pub as been raving about this band for a couple of years now,and ive only just started listening to them...glad I have.

Check out a British band called Desert Mountain Tribe doing something similar. Heavily influnced by The Angels.

This is more like Janis Joplin or Jefferson Airplane, very 60's Psychedelic....Very refreshing and COOL!!
I always describe this band as Led Zeppelin meets The Doors.
Hey writer, just discovered this band a couple days ago, I think your right. From what I've heard so far....

Zia McCabe isn't the drummer of the Dandy Warhols, she play tambourine & keyboard. Drummer is now Brent Deboer, before it was Eric Hedford.
The first time I heard the group, they reminded me of the "Iron Butterfly" for some of the Sound and definitely for the Psychedelic nature.

Tame Impala, and the Night Beats also sound 60's!
The NEW Doors!! They also have a Jefferson Airplane, '60s vibe.

I do not get a Morrison vibe as much from him as I do a Velvet Underground vibe from the entire crew. Not that they sound like the VU ...but the approach is so similar..
