Biggest lie that you're showing. Today's cars are the ultimate winner of UGLY. 50s cars no matter what it was is NOT ugly. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder as the saying goes.

The 1953 Kaiser, my dream car when I was a young boy, won 16 international awards that year as "The most beautiful car in the world", and this guy calls it "ugly"!

The numbnuts who compiled this has obviously never seen any of these cars in real life. I haven't seen the Bond Minicar or the 603 Tatra, but I;ve had fairly close contact with the rest.
Nor is he aware that all those flashing graphics can induce migraines or even seizures in some individuals. This video should be posted with a _flashing lights_ warning.

..and the Hawks were also highly awarded.

Funny, I really love those first year Edsels with the original horse collar front end before they chickened out and blended it with the grille for subsequent models.

The '52 Nash Healey was gorgeous. Studebaker Hawks were beautiful! OK the tailfins on the '57 were a mistake but everyone is allowed one. BUT, 4 bucket seats, long hood, short rear deck, floor shift, really sporty V8 avail ... sound like something from 8 years later?? Mustang maybe??

    1:23 Rambler, no argument.
1:27 '51 Studebaker Starlight, I had one, great visibility in every direction, 26 MPG with the overdrive V8, what's not to love?
    1:38 Bond Minicar, pretty bad.
1:48 Nash Healy is a masterpiece!
1:59 the '51-55 Kaisers were deop-dead gorgeous compared with the crap the Big Three were producing in thay period, including the '55 Chevy.
2:10 The Nash/Hudson rambler were greatly improved when AMC got rid of the enclosed front wheels.
2:20 The Kabin Roller, transportation of choice of Steve Urkel and Cousin Itt.
2:33 The '56 Hawks weren't bad it was just in '57-'61 when they came with the tail fins cribbed from the Rambler Palm Beach show car...and don't even start on the '58 Packard Hawk
    2:42 Tatra 603, WHAT A RIDE, COMRADE!
2:54 The '57-'58 Scotsman models didn't come with a lot of gaudy trim, but the unadorned aesthetic found favor with former first lady Eleanor Roosevely.
3:05 Don't knock the Isetta and the BMW 600. They might look like a Westinghouse front-load Laundromat, but they were practical transportation, and could be fun to drive.
3:16 Edsel: The aim was right, but the target moved. in 1958 the Edsel brand bracketed the market from hust above the cheapest Ford model to just below the mid-range Lincoln. Now, you want ugly, take a gander at the '58-'60 Lincoln line!
3:27 Or the '58 Olds or Pontiac models.
3:38 The Z-line Anglia looked pretty good in comparison with the Citroen Ami-6
3:50 The Lark actually looked pretty good alongside its competition, even into the mid-sixties.

The cars from the 60's & earlier were all truly beautiful. There's even beauty in Ford's Edsel. The cars from the 20's, 30's, 40's & 50's were some of the most beautiful cars ever built. That is why so many of them are so valuable & why many people customize them and turn them into hot rods. Unlike the cars of today that have little or absolutely no style at all. It's like there is only one car designer & said designer, designed one car than ran completely out of original ideas. If people don't believe this just check out Barrett - Jackson and you'll see what I mean.

I guess that all this relies on your taste. I found the Studebakers, Kaiser, and Edsel good looking.

I agree with Craig..loved the fifties cars and trucks . Today's cars are nothing in the way of design as the fifties

the Nash Healey isn't as pretty as the Austin Healet - the big Healeys which are the 100 BN/4 or BN/6 and the 3000 but down right ugsy it isn't

Opinions are like armpits, which everyone has and, while agreeing on 2-3 choices, for the most part, you need some underarm deodorant!
