Crapemyrtle bark scale study reveals tree treatments to fight pest

I applied Bayer Advanced 3 in 1 for tree and shrubs back in late Jan when it looked like we were on to warmer days/nights (S Denton County, zone 8a) Now (today) we have a short period of ice. I am concerned that my application was poorly timed and will need to be repeated. This product is so strong that I am considering not repeating it. I know you can not endorse a product, but can you tell me if I should repeat the application?
