If I were an owner driver I wouldn't hesitate to look at one of these. Seems to be the same basic cab shell as the new FH and the driveline the same more or less as well. The last Renault I drove was in 2002 - a Premium - nothing I didn't like about it.
Scania and Volvo are the kings of the trucking industry. Mercedes and DAF are liveable.

Renault and Volvo is the same truck.
hi the Renault Magnum had a derivative of the Volvo 12 litre engine rated around 440bhp to 500bhp
The best part about the new Renault is that you won’t lose your shoes like the Magnum
56 mph, just under 1.100 rpm? The display shows about 1.300 rpm at 56 mph.
56 @1100 is with the optional wide gear ratio gearbox (standard on the T520).

yeh but are they tough and reliable? if they're anything like their cars I hold no so much faith...
Hi Renault Trucks are owned by Volvo Trucks so there's no connection to Renault cars, and of course, Volvo Trucks aren't connected to Volvo cars !!
You can't compare Renault to Volvo though
Sneaky no, Renault used to be a big shareholder in Volvo Trucks but they sold everything. The only thing they share is the brand.
It's an ugly looking motor but if it's out like the magnum it's a winner
the electrics are still shit
The gearbox is lazy awful truck to drive
