    Very helpful video. You removed the fear I had about swapping out my double-sided sink for a single. I also liked the idea of replacing my faucet for one like you bought. Your tip on how to center the sink in the opening was clever. I noticed you installed the faucet onto the sink before setting the sink into the counter. It was truly an "Oh duh!" moment. So much easier!

    Enjoyed this video. I felt like I was watching someone who knew what they were doing and had some experience not someone who also watched UA-cam videos then made their own video. All the little tips were helpful. Maybe add links to the items you used like the sink, and fittings in the description. Thanks!

    Thank you for the video. Like other commenters, you have given us confidence to do it ourselves without fear and apprehension. We just removed the sink today so there's no going back. Hope you're still having fun RVing!

    Also could you explain how you "adapted" the existing piping? I'm not sure where you cut it.

      Eliminate the Tee, replace it with a 90, cut the end off the Tee "as much as you can get" should be about 2". This will allow you to connect the 90 to the pipe fitting going out to the gray tank. Hope this helped.

    Where did you get those valves that you adapted the water lines with?

      Lowes or any hardware store.. There shutoff vavles for PEX Pipe. They just push on and lock in place.
      Thanks for watching...

    Our sink and stove have been removed (previous owner) in lieu of extra seating. All the lines are still there but have been boxed off. Do we need to purchase RV sink pipes? Or can we get standard and just make sure the lines connect right using adapaters?

      Standard plumbing will work. There's really no difference other than the quality or pipe size. All can be adapted. What you buy at your hardware store is usually better than what came in your RV. Thanks for watching and good luck with your project. Have fun...

    Also is the elbow different thread sizes on each end? Do you know the dimensions of it?

    • @LifeisaHighwayRV
      @LifeisaHighwayRV  2 роки тому +1

      They are the same size and treads (1 1/4" compression 90). But, if you have a different size pipe, you can buy what's called a reducing 90. Any hardware store should have this if needed.

      I could only find a 25 by 19 not the 25 x 16 you installed. Could you share the link?

      @@EAlvarez137 I also couldn't find that sink to share the link. Not sure why. Calll RecPro, they mayy have issues with stock due to covid.

    kinda skipped over the whole clip proceedure.

      I get to blame my beautiful camera women (my wife) she thought she was recording. Lol. But to add just screw the clips down with the wing nuts. Put a dab of silicone to help hold them up. Makes starting the wing nuts easy.

      My mistake, I thought you commented on my other video. Where I installed a Stainless Steel sink in the bathroom. I will say, those clips are the hardest part of the entire installation. Not much room to work.
