Gee, I wonder if Shusaku and his move 127 will be included. 😜😇 Perhaps the shoulder hit by alphaGo in game 2 against Lee Sedol? This will be a series I look forward to.
just learned to play Go today and got recommended this video. I thought let's see one of the best moves of Go history to inspire me but I have to say that I am way more confused XDXD. As a chess player, I could barely comprehend what was going on like sacrifices, variations, etc but from Go's perspective I was clueless.
00:00 Intro 06:38 Sakata Eio 9p vs Fujisawa Hideyuki 8p (1960) 16:23 Lee Sedol 9p vs Cho Chikun 9p (Fujitsu Cup, 2006) (go4go: 10820) 27:57 Luo Xihe 9p vs Lee Changho 9p (Nongshim Cup, 2003) (go4go: 2420) 39:20 Kang Dongyun 9p vs Park Junghwan 9p (Online Competition for Korean National Team Players, 2020) 50:03 Cho Hunhyun 9p vs Mok Jinseok 5p (QB Asia Cup Final, 2001) (go4go: 730)
Hey, I love your videos! If I may give an unsollicited advice, the little music of the beginning shouldn't be used for other things, like presenting players. Maybe you should pick another music or put no sound at all. Well, that's only my feeling, maybe others won't agree. Wish you a happy new year, to you and your family!
I agree :) Also, please edit the videos to be shorter.. if the title is "best moves in history", cut to that directly. You can save the intro and questions about Shin Jin-seo for another video. Otherwise, people will lose attention. Granted, the questions Ryan asked this time were quite interesting. But editing is the most important part of the video-making process to make things efficient for the viewer. Thanks and keep it up
I made an AI analysis of the first tesuji from Sakata a while ago, TLDR it wasn't actually that good if black just blocked at o2, and white should have got the p9 peep first than then actually let black capture the 3 stones with the double atari sequence! www.lifein19x19.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=16266&hilit=sakata+tesuji Also 2nd game Lee Sedol vs Cho Chikun, BadukDoctor did a nice review of the whole game: ua-cam.com/video/CMICkMHbJ1M/v-deo.html
Considering it took artificial intelligence to find a work around against the move wouldn't that make still make it a good move since it was done against a human? Maybe it wouldn't be a great move if you're playing against an AI that has abilities to spot patterns at a level much higher than the human mind. The AI is always going to solve patterns better than a human
Mok is a legend and can speak English :o
He speaks fluent Chinese too!
Mok have such a good character and attitude! Great guest, I'd love to see him again.
That was great .
To watch Ryan get blown away the same way he gets me... makes me feel a little better.
I remember seeing Park Junghwan’s tesuji not too long ago, it completely blew my mind!

Wow! Wasn't Mok one of the strongest Korean players in early 2000?
Definitely yes

Thank you for this so excellent examples of tesuji attachments !
Amazing content!
go should have as many players and watchers as chess.

Thanks for the suggestion!
@@NYIGGo I can second this, the second music made me phase out and I head to go back to the biginning xD

_looks for one of my games_
Could you include the details of the games played? (Date + tournament) Perhaps links to the sgf files if possible?
Would you be able to provide the sgf files for the games discussed? Very interesting video!
Please leave links to the games on Go4Go!
Little question : can alphago and co predict those Tesujis ?
first, i get sente now
Not if I tenuki
Using the latest katago network It says that H5 also works
After f5 why not j2? It gives w 7 liberties no?
the terms of go are difficult to translate
Best move in go history is
Kejie's slapping his cheeks
:D

First!
There are 2 firsts. So who actually gets sente?
