I would love to see more of Guido’s Grandmother’s house. What an amazing thing that they have these beautiful homes closed up for decades with everything still inside. I would love to know the history.
I love the house that belonged to Guido ‘s grandmother. I love, love, love houses like this. Such treasures. The fresco’s, furniture and the architecture. Just fabulous. Yes, it will take work to bring this house to livable and money, but I can tell you if I was not 78 and living on the US, I would bankroll this project and move to Tuscany. I am a first generation Italian American and I love Italy and Italian life. Love your channel, it is real, humble and so informative. You are correct Kaylee, my food is my love offering to my family and friends. Thank you for sharing your life and ooh I would love that house. It is a treasure caught in time. Good luck with your renovations❣️
This film is incredibly beautiful in its entirety. Thank you. I adored your description of the children frolicking at the baptism, adorned in the dignity and timeless elegance of their attire. Linens, velvets, cottons, exquiste socks, and shoes and hair ribbons for the little girls. I believe the beauty and grace of the childs clothing is supremely important. Traditional societies regardless of wealth, adorn their children with priority, whether it be a single strand of exquistely beautifully crafted beads or precisely selected feathers or hand crafted furs. Sadly, many western societies display little regard for the dignity and modesty of children's clothing. I am over whelmed with the complexity, precision and depth of your films that you somehow present in the most refreshingly fluid format. Absolutely stunning Kylie.
I so agree with you about the way children may be dressed. When I visited Rome as an American it was a breath of fresh air to see all family members so well dressed. It denoted a kind of respect for ones self in the way one was dressed. I found it a virtue.
Sticking my nose where it doesn’t belong I came upon ur channel and saw a video regarding ur child’s issues may I suggest “earthing/grounding “ it cost zero simply let ur child walk/crawl /play in contact w the earth it greatly helped my child her health issues slowly vanished it sounds crazy and it worked. Also one of the best channels I have discovered on UA-cam
What an artistic, beautiful filming of your sister doing yoga. It was a delight seeing the female body in motion. The frescos are exceptional! If you clean up the place it could be leased for movies and photo shoots. The cracked walls are even a feature. Your videos are uplifting and your storytelling is colorful. Hugs to Guido and Gianfranco 😊 ~ Terri from Alabama, USA
Since they plan on selling it, and not keeping it in the family, I think it would be wise to be careful not to invest too much money, time and energy in restoration when many potential buyers see the potential of a place and are prepared to make those investments for full restoration. Just having a small team come in and remove the trash, dust and decay of decades, doing a proper cleanup and gluing the silk wall coverings that is hanging down, is probably going to bring them the best profit margin. They should get unbiased advice on the financial side of things, IMO
What a beautiful property! It would be lovely to see all of the trash removed and the floors cleaned. So glad you had time with your sister. You seem really rejuvenated by it.
Thank your sister for showing her impeccable yoga form. She is as beautiful as you are! Wonderful Italian dishes & language lesson. Yes Guido's grandmother's Palazzo is amazing. Would love to see more!
Thank you for sharing. I think your gift is as an observer who relays the details and weaves the stories in a fascinating way. God bless your sister, parents and Guido and Gianny 😊
PALAZZO! Oh, that will be an amazing project: history, family history, architecture, restauration, furniture, frescoes, pavement, textures, colours.... AND a mysterious cave underneath! Wow! I am all for it! Go for it, Lady! It will be rewarding for everyone!
Having this Sleeping Beauty Palazzo in the family is the chance of a lifetime to record all the steps required to restore it as a family home again and to display in detail, how much care, energy and artistic endeavour went into it when it was built. Your keen eye and cinematic skills would result in a historic documentation of these now sadly neglected places and would give future generations, including Gian Franco, the chance to see what amazing people his parents really are and how they helped to preserve a part of Italy‘s architectural legacy. It will be a laborious process, but it will be worth every minute of it. 💪🏻💪🏻😘
As far as I know, Guido has a full time job & Kylie is getting virtually no sleep & breastfeeding a newborn. Guido's sleep is probably also affected by their baby crying all throughout the night. They went through such a major restoration already with probably still so much more to do. It was stated that they were going to sell this property, so it seems to not be staying in the family. I suggest they speak to a financial advisor & find out to what degree to have it cleaned up & presented for sale & let the buyers invest the money, time & energy, as most buyers will see the potential, as long as it is cleaned up. Perhaps Kylie could ask permission to document the restoration that the buyers take on, they may even appreciate having it so well-documented in cinematic style.
You looked amazing in the orange gown. It would be so much fun to see the beautiful villa all cleaned up and go back to its former glory by you. You have the respect and love for these kind of projects. Much love and admiration to your amazing talents.
@@KylieFlavell I think it would be only fitting to enlist a couple strong helpers to remove the trash, clean the decades of dust, dirt and decay out, seeing if the floors are worthwhile to showcase. It is a delicate balance as to how much to invest when the property will be sold & not kept in the family. Buyers can see potential in a property & are often willing to spend a fortune to restore a property, whereas there are affordable things that sellers can have done so potential buyers are able to better see the potential. I would avoid going overboard on full restoration, such as the silk wall coverings, etc. But, at least hanging wall covering can be glued back in place where loose so the place doesn't look to be in tatters. I do feel it is important to not necessarily let craftspeople or even real estate people talk you into doing big restorations if it is not going to increase the actual profit margin when you look at outlay of cash vs. time and money poured into it without enough return on investment, or even potential loss....
I wanted to add that since the property is to be sold & apparently not kept in the family, perhaps you could get permission from the eventual buyers to document some important parts of the restoration, which would give you a sense of involvement in the historical aspect, as well as interesting content for your channel, and the buyers would most likely be interested & even thrilled to have it documented in such cinematic style, when they see what you are capable of doing in your art of cinema.
Kylie I would absolutely love to see the old Palazzo revealed after being freed from grime, rubbish etc, but take care 1st of all of yourself, Gian Franco and Guido !
Please restore this amazing architectural treasure and take us along. You are an extremely gracious charming lady and the epitome of a natural beauty. Your husband is a very lucky man. Like many other subscribers I too am interested in relocating to Italy or Portugal from the US. This is how I discovered your channel. Yes to more of these restoration videos . Why cant you all live there instead of selling it? Do yall have another pad you are commited to?? Its so nice to see close sibling relationships. Very rare today . My sister is meaner than a Viper and I run when I see her . Smile. You are blessed in so many ways .
Of course I want to say yes to the clean up to the palazzo. It would be a fantastic project. You do if it’s the right time for you and your family. It seems like you have gotten to a comfortable place in your beautiful life. I look so forward to seeing your achievements come to fruition and will continue to watch when you post.☀️
Wow. Guido seems to come from an extremely privileged family. So many exceptional properties! A video about his lineage would be ever so interesting. Your sister is stunning. Does she make instructional yoga videos we could follow? 🥰
You have the most astonishing appetite for restoration! I can’t imagine how you do it all with a little baby! Love your dress. 🧡 Your sister is in the most amazing shape! I used to be myself until an injury forced me to give up my yoga practice. Enjoy your youth and health while you can ❤
But how can we Italians be so freaking cool??? I don't know... Food, culture, style, history, design, sightseeing, beaches, friendliness, welcoming, warm and much much much more....
I am fascinated by the beauty of traditional Italian architecture and design and I‘d LOVE to see the palazzo brought to life. The frescoes are breathtaking! ❤
Would delight in the opportunity to see all the frozen in time details of the palazzo up close…thank you for capturing all that you did under less than ideal circumstances! Such a thrill to see a glimpse into a bygone era, so many beautiful details waiting to be discovered by you…and us!!pretty please🥰
Wow, what an incredible time exploring the old property. So interesting! What a project that would be, to clean it up even a little. :) You never know what treasures you may find!
Another bravo (or is it ‘brava’) for you! All these well preserved ‘traditions’….in houses, clothes, food & celebrations….are what keep us on a well-timed path of evenness amidst seeming craziness right now. Great thread to follow your linking all these events together. Love the palazzo and like so many who are renovating Châteaus, Villas or Manor Houses….it is intriguing to clean things up, discard the past & make an honor of what has gone before of the good, beautiful & truthful. Go for it! Huge project!
What beautiful pictures. I simply love your work. Not the least is the beautiful dna your family is blessed with. La bellezza è il riflesso dell'anima.
fabulous video! The Pallazzo is amazing! Renovation seems inevitable! The gr3at ting is that you can do it over time! the baby is growing! Soon he will be crawling! Enjoy your summer time together! Guiido is always full of great historical surprises!
Amazing video. I remember when I was little loving wearing a pretty dress. Children love being prettily dressed and smart. Also love being chilled in joggers. X
Lovely to see you getting out and about. Glad you were able to celebrate with your sister on her birthday. 😊 The ceiling frescoes in the palazzo were stunning. I can't imagine the floors not being of equal brilliance. Many blessings and good health 🙏 ❤
First of all, you look absolutely stunning in that mango colored gown! Secondly, your time spent with your sister was so precious and hopefully she'll visit again soon. Lastly, what a spectacular home! Those frescoes are so detailed and appear to be in beautiful condition. It's a shame about the silk wallcoverings but that type of covering is so fragile, and with the house being closed up for 60 years, I'm surprised that they are still adhering as they are. I'm sure that you will choose lovely wall colors to complement the history of the building and the ceilings. I loved the image of the children running around in their fine clothes. It reminded me of Italian movies from th4e 50's. Honestly, your life is very much that of another era and perhaps one of the reasons that we, along with your thousands of subscribers, so enjoy watching your posts.
I am so proud and happy for you Kylie, I have been watching your video's from way back when you were single. You have a beautiful Family, God has blessed you. Love from Sydney Australia from a first-generation Sicilian Australian.
Wow, Guido’s grandmothers Casale looks amazing, I would definitely love to see it with the shutters open 😍 thanks for sharing your adventures and I’m so glad you spent some quality time with your sister. ❤ Michelle 🇦🇺
YES!! OMG yes please! I would love to see the palazzo all cleaned up. The furniture looks beautiful and of course the frescoes are too. Like walking back in time. Thank you for sharing! Oh I almost forgot - I love your dress, you look beautiful!
What a beautiful old palazzo lost in time! Looks long overdue for maintenance and restoration but great fun to explore! Touch of the Miss Havershams about this fine old property. Beautifully filmed vlog as always.
Your videos are always so beautiful. I look forward to them! I’m glad you had such a great visit with your sister. She is gorgeous, just like you are. I would love to see a renovation on that property. Thank you for sharing Kylie!
So gorgeous all of it, and I resonate with my whole being when I watch your videos. And yes please, restore the former beauty of that captivating home.
Love to see these traditions ❤everybody dressing up for these special events! Here in the USA it’s all about comfort and I really don’t approve at times!
I don’t either! I wish we would go back to dressing nicely. I like to watch youtube channels of people in America in the 30s, 40s and 50s, how nicely they dressed even for simple outings.
What a beautiful relationship you have con tua sorella, beautiful flowers, palazzo and food. This was such a welcomed delight for me this week my love. ❤ Grazie 🙏
I do appreciate your dedication to filming. I know how hard it is to do this with a little baby. Thank you! Looking forward to seeing how the palazzo will look after a little clean.
What an amazing gift the villa is to us all. Such artistry and beauty within those walls - so many questions it elicits!! There should be zero hesitation to clean up this treasure and of course film it with your usual style and grace for the world to see! I think you should offer a "work - cation" where we can donate our time and "muscle" to come help and be a small part of such a unique endeavor! I know I would definitely come and offer my help - I would only ask for one of your salads and a slice of your cheesecake! :).....and a nice glass of Italian wine !
Kylie, you've just perfectly described my relationship with my sister. I live in the US, and she's just finished her visit with me, and is back in Germany. There is such a void in my daily life, now. We can't wait til next spring when we'll see each other, again. The palazzo is just breath taking. I hope it can be restored.
I’m glad you understand. I always feel so bereft when she leaves. But also grateful as many people are either fighting with their siblings or an only child.😩🥰
Kylie, Darlin, I often don’t leave a comment because I don’t want to burden you more with having to read more than the 515 replies already! But I have to tell you how lovely this episode was!! I’ve been a faithful follower of you ever since you did your first kitchen makeover! Now we are finally building a new home in TN & I’m able to try to copy some of your Italian kitchen & decorating ideas❣️❣️❣️. Having a piattaia made🎉🎉 and I found some sconces similar to the one you used in your fateful blue bathroom makeover (the sconce had a floral metal arm & fluted glass shade). I have diligently saved screen shots of your videos to find similar pieces for our “we’d rather be in Italy” home😃. Now this new video uncovers even more treasures!!! I can’t thank you enough for sharing the REAL Italy with us🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. By the way, I applaud the way Italians still care about how they dress for occasions. I feel it shows respect. To quote Sophia Loren: “Cultivating beauty is a form of respect for those we love.” 💛🧡❤️♥️
Absolutely beautiful. I love seeing abandoned houses and all the things left behind. The peeling wallpaper, the furniture, and often family photos. I hope you decide to re-do this beauty, and I really enjoy your videos!!! Thank you for sharing!!
Dear Kylie! Thank you so much for your incredible work, exquisite taste and refined sense of beauty that you are so generously sharing with us! I have two sons and their infancy was also quite challenging for me and my husband... That's why I totally understand you and my heart is with you. ❤ I'm a Montesori teacher from Latvia, I truly adore children. I speak English and Italian, and three other languages. Recently I was dreaming about coming to your place, helping you with the baby, doing any work, really anything that could help. If only this dream could come true. 🥰 Sincerely, Marina.
That old home would have captured my curiosity for sure! It would be amazing to open all the windows and slowly and respectfully touch and examine all the historical treasures!
A beautiful video, yet again Kylie.🎦🎉 It was very calming to watch your sister's slow-mo yoga at the start & then the delightful footage of yours & Guido's property, the fiesta shots & history... just everything! 👏🏻😍 Your description of the children playing, dressed in their fine clothes, reminds me of an enchantingly similar experience we had in the main piazza in Arezzo, watching the antics & loving relationships of a big, well attired, extended family. It touches the heart to see the love & care within a family.🤩 The brief "tour" of Guido's great grandmother's palazzo was rivetting! Yes please, we'd love to see lots more of that fabulous building, & yes please, watching it being cleaned & restored would be fabulous!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻Thanks again for posting. ❤❤❤❤from Australia.
Thanks Kylie, your feminine and poetic style inspires me to live more peacefully. Do you continue to study Italian or being a married to an Italian means that you don’t have to study any longer? Gianfranco and his kitchen set is absolutely adorable! I also love watching him help unload the dishwasher.❤
Would love to see the palazzo cleaned up and restored. It’s a beautiful space and it deserves some love ❤️
What always impresses me is your ability to show the art and beauty of even minute details in your films.
Thank you. I have a such a weakness for details. 😍
Wow that Palazzo is like a museum! The frescos are priceless! Here in Bavaria, every town also has their own patron saints and a celebration on the day they celebrate them. I would love to see more of Guido’s Grandmother’s house. What an amazing thing that they have these beautiful homes closed up for decades with everything still inside. I would love to know the history.
The frescoes in Guido's bisnonna's house are incredible! It would be so wonderful to preserve them for generations to come.

@@joannadavis6716I agree with you the newer homes their is no comparison.

Beautiful comment, I completely agree!
Beautiful space and such a lovely beginning to your film.
Thank you Kylie for sharing your beautiful relationship with your sister! Beautiful video!!!!

What a beautiful old palazzo lost in time! Looks long overdue for maintenance and restoration but great fun to explore! Touch of the Miss Havershams about this fine old property. Beautifully filmed vlog as always.
What an incredible adventure it would be to restore that history. 😊
Love the final restaurant scenes with jazz music. I felt like I was there ❤️
Dear Kylie, you live the life I dreamed of. Hard to put into words how much joy you bring
. Mille volte grazie
The palazzo is amazing!! The frescos incredible! My mouth is watering looking at the truffle pasta! Wow!!
Your mission is all about transformation, healing and beauty. Thank you for nourishing all of us with your lovely spirit! God Bless you and yours!!!
❤ Grazie 🙏
Wish I could whisk you away here from everything you’re dealing with. Soon. Ti voglio bene. 😘

I do appreciate your dedication to filming. I know how hard it is to do this with a little baby. Thank you! Looking forward to seeing how the palazzo will look after a little clean.
Your sister's yoga was so well filmed.....alongside the perfect music! Well done you and isn't your sister great at yoga! 👏👏👏🥳
The palazzo is a gem !! Make it pretty again - the food looks so mouth watering - your sister is lovely
Would love to see a cleanup makeover, the fresco’s look beautiful 🤩
I look forward to everything you do. You have a beautiful family and life! Thank you for sharing.💕
The palazzo is amazing! Would love so see a series on restoring it.
Yes please restore that palazzo! I’d love to see the transformation!
Ah what a wonderful Itian summer!🌞 Thank you Kylie for sharing!!! I love this stunning orange dress!🧡
I see a beautiful coffee table book.....you have so many beautiful locations and structures to capture!
Seeing that Palazzo come back to life would be thrilling❤
Absolutely beautiful. I love seeing abandoned houses and all the things left behind. The peeling wallpaper, the furniture, and often family photos. I hope you decide to re-do this beauty, and I really enjoy your videos!!! Thank you for sharing!!
Dear Kylie! Thank you so much for your incredible work, exquisite taste and refined sense of beauty that you are so generously sharing with us! I have two sons and their infancy was also quite challenging for me and my husband... That's why I totally understand you and my heart is with you. ❤
I'm a Montesori teacher from Latvia, I truly adore children.
Amazing! Yes, we want you to restore the pillazo!
THANK YOU dearest Kylie !!!!
Ohmy goodness!!! What amazing rooms and ceilings. Like a museum. It's beyond comprehension.
I'd love to see what you would discover at palazzo ....also could you make cooking tutorial of Tortelli Di Patate Al Tartufo?
Certainly! 😋
Yes, yes, yes! I would love to see the plazzo cleaned up!❤
A beautiful video, yet again Kylie.🎦🎉 It was very calming to watch your sister's slow-mo yoga at the start & then the delightful footage of yours & Guido's property, the fiesta shots & history... just everything!
Yes Yes Yes that sounds awesome to restore the Palazzo..
That palazzo was so beautiful! ..& Absolutely intrigued !! The Whole video from start to finish was so uplifting & beautifully filmed! Thank you!
Beautiful; valuable piece; Wow ; AirBNB here I come !!!!!
Oh yes I would love to see that place in the light of day.
Amazing shoots of the orange dress with the flowers. So pleasing to watch.
