Render is very long, what kind of shape we can use to speed the render ?
Sorry for the late reply, but if you want faster render, I don't think using different shapes would change much, as rendering is mostly a frame-by-frame rendering ? :0 You'd probably want to remove the gradient and replace it with simple colours instead, or either lower the FPS or the comp's quality
can you make a video of solar as video copilot (vide screen shot)

I guess just import the images and place them a pixel higher in 3d space over each shape... you can even use the shape as a track matte
