So happy to know that Henryk Szeryng’s “Le Duc” Guarneri del Gesu is now in your hands. So sorry that I won’t be seeing you on April 18 in St. Petersburg with The Florida Orchestra. I hope there will be another opportunity after this pandemic is over for you to come to our Tampa Bay Area and play the Paganini Concerto No. 1 as was planned. Thank you for sharing your art and bringing us hope and inspiration during these dark days. Be well and keep safe!
Maravilloso!!! Era el tema favorito de mis padres desde que se conocieron. Y en todos sus aniversarios de boda yo les ponia el disco . Gracias por tan bella interpretacion. Saludos desde Chile.
Thanks a lot for this jewels you are doing in this strange times, I enjoy so much your playing, no one better to continue the legend preceding the Leduc, I am very happy. Greetings from the Canary Islands
Bravo Maestro! Fantastic performance! You captured the spirit, the romance and the beautifully expressive playing that Fritz Kreisler himself would be proud of.
I put concerto accompaniment parts on a step-sequencer years ago. It's a fun thing to do, esp. if you can't ring up an accompanist on cue. If you, unlike me, play piano, you can just record the piano part on a synth, or electronic piano. On my step-seq. I actually input 16 voices - brass, winds, strings, drums. Like I said; it's fun. Roland, Yamaha, and Casio made good synths back then. I don't know if Casio still does, and Yamaha makes great electronic pianos. Check 'em out. You know what else is fun? Using MIDI, change the voice of your violin to saxophone, or some other instrument. It's a blast.
Ainda não entendo uma peça musical tão magnífica e bem interpretada como está, sem tantos comentários, e com poucos likes... teria que ter muito mais likes
I love your playing! Such a lovely tone! Currently, I am learning Mozart Concerto 2 in D major K211 ... could you please record yourself playing your cadenza for this concerto? Thank you!
Excellent :). I played my own heavy dose of Kreisler this morning, but am running out of bow hair....what is man to do when hair on the head keeps growing without access to a barber while hair on the bow thins out and the violin shops are closed? An odd combination of problems. Thanks for recording these things for us, Augustin, during this time!
@@AugustinHadelichViolin I will be falling back to my old student bow soon. Music will certainly not be stopped, and your posts are an inspiration to keep going :). We are lucky to have our violins!!! Plus you have the piano as well :).
I love the way you play... you are so real when you play, nothing feels artificial or fake ... can you please give me some tips about how you record your videos? I imagine you record first the violin part and after you have some kind of AirPods? your advice would be much appreciated, thanks
I'll quote Augustin from his 'Vocalise'-Recording: "I recorded the piano first; it's an electric piano so I could play it back later as I played the violin. Then I mixed the sound of both together so it was the right balance. I imagined the violin part as I was playing the piano part; and when playing the violin part, I followed the timing of the piano part."
Ridiculously talented guy and beautiful performance. But having myself spent much time and money on set-up, I have to ask why is he not using a centre-fitting chin rest. Like the phenomenal artist Zukerman, his chin is over the tailpiece.
What the hell other violinist could do what he is doing here, playing both parts. Heifetz is the only one I know that could have done it. Are there any others?
Good question. I don't know any other violinist who could do what he's doing. Is he playing the accompaniment by memory, or is that an electronic score he has in front of him? His piano sounds pretty amazing for an upright. Augustin Hadelich is too talented for words. How I would love to hear him, live! Feb. 14/2022. Burlington ON Canada.
He plays with such a beautiful tone it’s kind of indescribable 👍
I agree 😍

Qué bello las dobles cuerdas!!! Qué amor transmite!
Beautiful! I hope one day I can be good enough on the violin so that I can record duets with myself as well!

Beautiful Viennese feeling Augustin... As if back in time!!
Any advice for practicing 6ths, for intonation? :)

Bravo! Now try both parts of Strauss' sonata!😀
Oooh I thought - I could play that with a lot of practice - then you hit the middle section!
Slow part is harder 😅
How do you do this without headphones? Amazing playing!!!

I think he has a wireless one in the ear we can’t see

Or any double stop exercise you do?

If He plays that on His Stradivarius... hahaha...;)
No way, the Guarneri fits better with his sound :)
❤👍🙏😀
