Wow! Such a fun day. I’m a lifelong Wildcat fan and alumni and was at this game! Obviously the Broncos came out with the W and deserved to the way they played (such a great program) but that was just an overall fun day for my family and I despite the outcome
The BCS was more out of wack that year than most. No. 20 Boise beats No. 10 Arizona. That drops BSU to a final rank of 21. Meanwhile the Wildcats still finished at No. 12....
@@matthewshirts9523 I completely agree. I never was high on Southwick whenever he came in for Moore he just seemed lost. Hedrick on the other hand when he came in for his RPO plays was in command and the kid was FAST and had a good arm. If Grant was starting from day one BSU would have never had that lull. Not to mention the whole mess with Nick Patti.

I would assume because the hype surrounding BSU those years. The first two fiesta bowls also featured undefeated Boise State teams, the ‘14 team had 2 losses. Another reason would be the attractiveness of their opponents in ‘10 & ‘07. TCU ranked #3, plus Boise State wanting revenge from their last meeting….and Oklahoma…well who wouldn’t want to see their up-and-coming team play the Oklahoma sooners, and everything that comes with that storied program? Hell I’d even get excited if BSU played the 2022 sooner team! Hope this helps. Go Broncos!!
