Shadowrun Hong Kong Review | Exciting Excursions and Planar Incursions

Harebrained Scheme is taking us to the Hong Kong Free Enterprise Zone in it's third and, so far, final game in the Shadowrun Returns Trilogy. If you liked Dragonfall you'll love Hong Kong...or just think it's alright. It's kind of complicated like that. Polished technical improvements meet a looser but still competent narrative.

Would love to see a Shadowrun game that only takes place inside the walled city Kowloon. Like a huge open world where you have your own apartment and can purchase businesses in the city.

It would be interesting to see more of it, although definitely more than a bit depressing. I remember there being a Workshop mod for Dragonfall called Shadowrun Unlimited that took this approach to Seattle. Unfortunately the mod author seems to have stepped away from the project a long time ago so no hope of them doing the same for Kowloon.
