I looked it up. He was a nutritionist and a chef. In his early years he worked for the weight-loss chain Jenny Craig. But he used to have a hard time getting clients and the clients that he did manage to get never followed his advice. FACTS
Yo this is the real comment right here!
Yup, drunk driver can kill more people than this fatty foods
But then again (at least not where I live) they don't advertise getting drunk and running people over as a selling point (not to say alcohol is completely okay).
@@roverkibb1834 ofcourse they won't say "yo come here drink alcohol and die" same with cigarette companies and the heart attack grill, they all say "it's harmful", and continues the business because they know that will work and avoid legal troubles, so the liquor store is no different
Honestly, i would pay to see a Gordan Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmare episode at this place.
Me too
Lmfao
lol
Lol
Good, then he could shut it down.
Yeah no wonder that if the customer is over 350 pounds they don't have to pay they are already paying with their life.
Pocketninja G makes since
Pocketninja G that's deep
They are still looking for a new mascotte for the restaurant, someone over 350lbs that could take River's place... ;P
Pocketninja G ikr they’re paying with their life
What if it's The Mountain who is 400 lbs of solid muscle
Customer : Has a heart attack
Jon Basso : Yes very sad. Anyway
That's what I call ZERO FU*KS given
Compiler Revolt I agree.
lol basically saying "yeh we all know high fat food is bad, lots of it will kill you, but I don't care and you'll still eat here so fuck you".
To the extreme
Compiler Revolt
ZF clan?
How is it a fuck you if i'm giving you exactly what you want? Seems like if he wanted to express that sentiment he would've opened the restaurant up, served one delicious meal, and then closed it down the same day.
It isn't morally wrong to give people what they want unless what they want is to hurt someone else. And that spokesman probably had the best life a fat guy could ever wish for.
This owner is painfully honest
And evil.
Nls Drf yea couldn’t agree more
@@nlsdrf1290 well, he didn't force them.
As all others should
McDonald's does the same thing at 1000000 times the scale yet they only pay attention when the name is heart attack grill. Owner is genius.
um McDonald’s is no where near to the level of this one , 19,000 a meal vs 300-900 are very different , health wise both are unhealthy , but the heart attack grills allows no vegetables while McDonald’s does , you have to weigh 350 to eat for free , they promote obesity while McDonald’s doesn’t ,McDonald’s is like any other fast food place but this is over the top , everything is good in moderation and you can treat yourself but this is *too much*
@@princessjas2004 good point
@@princessjas2004 yah but the producers and spokesperson are acting all dramatic. They know smoking kills yet u have cigarette ads and they slap a sign "smoking kills" on it and its supposed to say its at your own life's risk. So same goes for this burger joint...its just business ...
@@princessjas2004 Lmao, EVERY McDonald's meal exceeds the recommended calorie intake and none of them are balanced nutritiously. Try eating 3 McDonald meals a day and see where that takes you.
@@taoliu3949 I get McDonald's alot and eat off bacons half my week or something, and I drink flavored milk for breakfast (but with vitamins).
I was right on the healthy scale. 10 pounds smthin. I don't actually make myself do excerise, but sometimes I unintentionally do, and no I am not a troll, this is who I am but it might sound like a recipe for failure to you guys.
If you ain't like it just don't dang eat it, it's not like someone breaks into your house every week or smthin and forces you to shove down a Big Mac and then stuff in every McDonald's product known to existence.
So tell me Big Bertha, what you do?
The journalists kryptonite: agreeing with their argument. They don't know what to say!
Interviewer: YOU'RE KILLING PEOPLE!
Owner: YESSS!
@Daniel Cosio still sickening
Daniel Cosio like the food you make home is any pbetter
@@nrtoca99 That's half of the point. Besides 90% of the people who eat there are tourists checking it out for the sake of crossing it off the bucket list.
@@nrtoca99 its sickening that people are blaming the restaurant lmfao
@@displaynameas495 I'm saying the whole situation is sickening
Imagine blaming a food business for ones own eating habits lol
Lol if something bad happens to someone their first reaction is who or what to blame 🤣
I mean the title says it all “heart attack grill” 😭
@@lmaoooo8764 signs all over the windows and door THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS DANGEROUS TO YOUR HEALTH,
and people walk in voluntarily, nothing wrong with dr john’s model
Meanwhile every street corner in America is filled with garbage food that people overeat every day. Can't believe they go after this restaurant for being self-aware lmao. Funny enough they fry in lard which is far healthier than the veggie oils every restaurant cooks in these days (hopefully they still do since this is 10 years old)
Their not "blaming", their saying he's "condoning" there's a difference.
That’s basically the same as a guy buying a gun from a gun store, only for the guy to shoot himself with it when he gets home, then blaming the owner of the gun store for the death.
Also like Remington being blamed for “helping a school shooter”. That specific shooting happened in 2012, 7 years ago at the time whenRemington being blamed.
The victims families said that *Remington is to fully blame as they sold that weapon.* This was Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting for those wondering.
Smart cause he’s deD
The only difference is the gun store would say "murder machines".
Yeah and he can’t necessarily deny business of people because that could whip around back to him and have even more negative affects on his restaurant they are acting like he is just going to say no if someone walks through the door for the fifth time in a week and orders a bypass burger

“We have passed the point of no return in heart attack grill. We have blood on our hands.” This honesty can stun any reporter. No backpedalling whatsoever.
Not really….you choose to eat there its on you same with smoking and drugs & drinking life’s all about decisions at any moment ya can give up shitty food & reset your lifestyle but Americans are lazy
Ya.. Same man
That argument didn't make sense to me. The owner qualified of "immoral" putting an end to the business under the excuse of "we have already done damage, so it doesn't matter anymore." Surely, what the business has done is bad, but that's why it must stop...
Think it like this:
A serial killer believes that is unethical to stop killing people because he did it in the past.
It's just stupid. A better (honest) way to put the phrase would be: "I'm beyond redemption since I don't feel remorse; furthermore, I don't want to change."
Los Pollos Hermanos
@@sawney-21 Well that's the thing, he isn't responsible for anyone's choice to eat their. So he isn't directly killing ppl like a serial killer, so that analogy doesn't work. Morals and feelings r ignored in the real world, as long as its legal then it doesn't matter. At the end of the day, it's their goddamn fault for choosing to eat their while knowing the consequences.
Nobody is being forced to eat that crap 🤷🏻♀️
IKR- every adult knows that if you eat 10,000 calories in one sitting, that's bad for you. This place is 100% honest that the food they are serving is completely unhealthy! It's IN THE NAME.. the place is named after what will happen to you if you eat there nonstop. I see nothing wrong with this place existing- if you go there every day and then have a heart attack, that's your fault.
Same with alcohol and tobacco. No one is forced and we know that stuff is really bad for us yet ppl still do it
can't deny his honesty, no matter how evil he actually is he's right
How is it evil. Just how.
At least the owner is honest af
Jack Reacher he’s really not lmfao
complete darkness he’s just agreeing with the interviewer because he knows how the situation makes him look... he doesn’t have an excuse. He’s not sincere it’s more like reality
Jack Reacher didn't say the owner was sincere. He said the owner was honest! Which he was, most people would be distancing themselves from their spokesperson if something negative like this happened to save their business. Jared from Subway comes to mind. He could have just disagreed with the interviewer but didn't. The owner came right out and said my burgers killed him, my burgers kill...that is honest and reality! Funny how often those two go hand in hand.
Don’t look at me wtf he was so honest. He knows that his restaurant is killing people...but the people don’t care...can’t help stupid people
No he isn't. He's claiming to be concerned with shocking people into eating healthy. He could not possibly care less about that. That has nothing to do with why he is doing what he does.
I love how the interviewer is trying to mad mouth him and his business and he’s sitting there going yeah it’s terrible and agreeing with him on everything 😂

I agree. I actually liked his honesty. I have much more respect for him than so many other politicians who try to say they are doing something for the good of others while the reason behind is very selfish.
