complete darkness he’s just agreeing with the interviewer because he knows how the situation makes him look... he doesn’t have an excuse. He’s not sincere it’s more like reality
Jack Reacher didn't say the owner was sincere. He said the owner was honest! Which he was, most people would be distancing themselves from their spokesperson if something negative like this happened to save their business. Jared from Subway comes to mind. He could have just disagreed with the interviewer but didn't. The owner came right out and said my burgers killed him, my burgers kill...that is honest and reality! Funny how often those two go hand in hand.
Don’t look at me wtf he was so honest. He knows that his restaurant is killing people...but the people don’t care...can’t help stupid people
No he isn't. He's claiming to be concerned with shocking people into eating healthy. He could not possibly care less about that. That has nothing to do with why he is doing what he does.
I’m pretty sure this guy is using reverse psychology, he’s is blantantly making ppl realize how bad this stuff actually is for them
Day and Night that’s what he said he hoped he could accomplish. It’s said that our society has to have this type of shock value out in front of them. However after they are shocked and over the grief of the young man dying they will go back to their double whoppers with fries. People are wanting more of these type restaurants more than they want to go to the gym or eat whole clean foods. We as a society live our addictions.
Day and Night ua-cam.com/video/JKqX63rJkHM/v-deo.html
BTMillion so your saying it’s easier at that point just to give up and stop trying?
lisa taylor no! It’s that it’s not easy for them to turn their back on choices they’ve made consistently for so long. I’m making the case that these are not people who understand how to make proper decisions about their food. Not all struggles are the same. When you’re that obese, it’s already too easy to take your life over one last burger but that doesn’t mean we should facilitate that. That’s as valid a point as making outlets for people who want to take their own lives in order to “make an example out of them”.
These aren’t people who live out their addictions. This literally has more to do with the fact that there’s a restaurant that’s helping them with what they want rather than help them look for what’s best for them. It’s all about availability at that point.
BTMillion Agreed! This is a very complex issue. I wonder what is the best way to educate people about the proper substances to ingest. I do understand it’s hard to make the right choices, I myself am obese according to the charts and do have cheat days. It’s just when I hear people to choose the burger and fries over the right decision it pains me just as much as it pains me to see people choose their next fix of their choice of drug or drink over abstinence.
I respect the owner for being honest, you are an adult you make your own choice and you pay the consequences. He did not force you to come to his restaurant.

@@susiemccallister9352 stop splitting hairs..ADULTS MAKE THEIR OWN DECISIONS!!
@@honeybutter7953Have you ever thought that decision making is governed by chemical reactions in the brain, from the simplest mammals to humans. What i meant is that they receive a large amount of dopamine from eating. Food addiction is similar to psychoactive drug addiction.
Obesity is both genetic and (Epigenetic) = Not affected by inherited genes and can bypass the DNA-genetic instrucions given from what we get from previous generations. Epigenome are affected from external environment (diet, toxins, hormones ect)
They most likely have somethig called ''Reward Deficiency Syndrome'' (RDS) This leads to an impairment in the brain reward circuitry leading to abnormal craving behavior. palatable foods stimulates the brain to produce and utilization dopamine

I like the owner and he's right, he has no obligation to clarify people of dangers of fast-food. School and parents should do that. If they fail, it's not his concern.
Well why don’t they focus on tobacco products! People eat this kind of food because they want to eat it! Nobody’s forcing them or trying to fool them!
Its not the owner who is to be blamed. He is just a smart business man, and through this video interview, his restaurant basically got free publicity.
Look at the owner, he is not at all obese for a person whose restaurant's main goal is to make you fat as possible
He is just using people's idiotic mentality to make money, which isn't bad, because this is capitalist country.
If you have a problem with his restaurant, simply put don't fucking go there
its up to you if you want to live or die
he is just doing a regular business just like anyone else
and stupid fat people who think diet has nothing to do with health will go to his restaurant to spend bucks.
This owner, is actually more smarter than he seems
Those who own/work in a restaurant usually don't eat their own food that they make for customers because they obviously know what goes on behind closed doors. They know how it's prepared and what goes into it...
There's a difference between being a smart busisnes man and being a decent human being. He seem to think he's doing the world a favor by helping people to their grave quicker.
Maybe he's doing the humanity a favour: eliminating those who have no self control and stop their DNA to be passed down onto other generations.

Ok I may be fat but I’m not that fat to the point where I weigh over 600 pounds (no offense) but also at least the owner is being honest with everyone and he is showing the horrors of eating really unhealthy
Nah, he’s being a hypocrite and he encourages them to eat unhealthy and often brings in feeders/feedees…it’s not about spreading a message. He just wants money.
@@americanteen97He tried the fitness act already but realised the world doesn’t care. He’s smart for doing this with his full brutal honesty

Yup
Walamo ua-cam.com/video/JKqX63rJkHM/v-deo.html
they literally have this restaurant is bad for you on the front door. whilst mc donald’s encourage kids with “happy” meals.
You wouldn’t care if you weighed high enough. Not all people have the same capacity about their diet choices. Not everyone had the same opportunities to educate themselves about nutrition and eating right. Age alone doesn’t make an adult capable of making the right decisions. There’s a lot that goes into how people become obese. Just because people are liable to face consequences for their actions doesn’t mean you accelerate those consequences. That doesn’t help anybody. You can’t just exploit gullible people because not everyone who is gullible deserves to be exploited.
This is literally unethical. Zero argument for this shitty restaurant.
BTMillion That’s like saying we should ban driving because people drink and drive, or ban smoking because it’s bad for you, or ban unprotected sex because you may accidentally have a kid. Your an adult capable of making your own decisions. You are putting all of your effort into trashing the restaurant instead of actually loosing weight

Honesty? His healthy buisness failed, so he moved to the unhealthy side to make money. If he truly cared, i should've heard that he donates profits to hostpitals, but oh wait, he is directly promoting the very thing he swore to destroy indirectly, so he wouldn't! Do you really think he wants to stop sending this message? He's gonna make money for as long as he can. People think it's funny, not philosophical or enlightening, not so long as people are uneducated.
He's "honest" because he wants to feel like he's promoting his ideals while making money. Took the road most traveled if you ask me.
I respect the owner for being honest, you are an adult you make your own choices and you pay the consequences. He did not force you to come to his restaurant.
finally one not irrational comment thank u
Honestly, if you don't want to eat there, then don't. The only person responsible for his death is him.

No one is born addicted to shoving quadruple cheeseburgers down their throat. This guy tells them to their face “This food will kill you” and they make the choice to proceed regardless. The fact that he offers meals for free to the morbidly obese just goes to prove how lazy, thoughtless and apathetic these people are towards their own health. They don’t seem to have the time to stop and think for 3 seconds about what point they are making when they squeeze through his doors to order his food.
As a crack dealer, I say exactly the same thing.
The restaurant isn't directly responsible, but still has a part of responsibility. First coke killed people and govt made it illegal because it put people in danger. The same happens here : people addicted to something that is harmful to their health, and that is difficult to stop for them.
Btw I find that not very wise to close any further discussion with your "end of story"
This owner was probably a great chef that just eventually said “screw it”
I looked it up. He was a nutritionist and a chef. In his early years he worked for the weight-loss chain Jenny Craig.
But he used to have a hard time getting clients and the clients that he did manage to get never followed his advice.
One day he got fed up and said to himself "If they want to eat unhealthy, I'll give them unhealthy." A year later he opened his first Heart Attack Grill.
