Wtf!!! I pull the “release valve” and it shoots liquid all over my kitchen! I only did the water run so far...thankfully. What’s up with that?! Is this how it’s always gunna be?’
Found this in the manual: "Warning: Hot liquid will escape from the vent holes in the vent valve when pulled. Wear a thermally insulated glove to prevent burns! DO NOT open the vent when the pump is running. " Does this address your issue? I'm considering purchasing.
I was about to ask that exact same question - cheers for your effort, there is simply no comparable pump on the german/european market at this point. Any update on the release date and if it's gonna be available in Germany as well?
Hey there and thanks for dropping a line. Our product support specialist, Jared, can actually walk through the CIP process using the RipTide™ with you, if you like? He's at support@blichmannengineering.com. Hope that is helpful, and cheers to you and yours.
Nice design. I particularly love the head mounted pressure relief valve.
Good information..
Yes, make sure you seat that red o ring seal correctly otherwise the pump leaks and makes a hell of a racket.....
This red washer is the bane of my existence, is there a hack to this thing
