Thank you @seanrowland1670 for watching, and sharing your feedback. Sometimes stepping back and watching the process from start to finish can help spark new idea. :)
5 AM on a Saturday, I'm comatose at that time in the AM, especially on the weekend. I had a blast brewing with John and really learned a lot. As for efficiencies, John was all about focusing on repeatable processes, while I love tweaking my efficiencies to a repeatable process to maximize my beer-to-cost ratio (I hate wasting money). Also, if you listen to John closely, he wasn't a big fan of tap water, as I'm not either. I feel that if you spend money on all your ingredients and your time to make a good beer, don't get cheap on the water quality. Spend a little and buy good water if you don't have your own RO system.
Thank You. Yes, I agree. I think finally understanding water chemistry was the biggest " oh wow" moment in my brewing history. I do start from RO water.
You are welcome! It's so helpful to watch the process from start to finish, so that you can pick up hints here and there that support your style of brewing. Cheers to you and yours!
Great video. Thanks. I'm a big fan of Bitter Reality Brewing, so I'm glad that he and Mr. Blichmann teamed up for this.
Thanks guys, enjoyed the video. Learned a few things ,as always. Cheers!
