@@Rubio_Eric yes you can use it for both. I don't have a video batch sparging on these systems. You can do it but that's not the way they were intended to be used. Fly sparge is the best way to get the most efficiency. 👍🍻
Just purchased everything yesterday from the links in the description. The #10 screw will NOT fit the hole in the small washer. I recommend boring it out with a 3/16" bit and making my hole in the strap the same size. Screw fits perfect after that! I had been looking for something like this for some time now. Great build.

Just brewed in my GF with my BIAB following your vid on the BIAB company and used 2 teaspoons back to back inserted in the recirc silicon pipe of the GF - worked great, surpassing my expected numbers. Will have a go at the revised recirc part in the vid. Like the work around practices you use, much cheaper than buying the real deal.
Nice job :) Make sure whomever is making this that all your metal components are stainless (even though it doesn't mention that in the image). Many of these can be found either regular uncoated steel or zinc coated. Just just be mindful to go into the stainless parts section :)

Lead was the concern associated with brass fittings and taps but in 2014 they stopped using lead in the alloy to make brass. The zinc would corrode allowing a porous surface to then allow Lead to leech into the water. This is also why a small residual of PO4 (phosphoric acid) is dosed at water treatment plants as its attracted to lead and forms a molecular coating to stop this from happening. Its also important that the water leaving production plants has a neutral PH as this will inhibit any corrosion on the water network from taking place. As i only use brass for sparge water its PH and chemical structure remains unchanged from the tap so i think the alcohol will affect my health far before the zinc does 🤣🤣. I have never heard of zinc causing health issues until now you have mentioned this. I wilo go away and do some research into this as im genuinely interested I will still be replacing the single brass fitting with a stainless steel camlock now you have mentioned it though. Interesting, I'm in the middle of experimenting with a few home made recirc manifold designs including a few similar to this one. I was wondering what to use for strapping and really like the duct connector concept. I'll probably have some video on the experiments in a month or so.
Well done. I'd like to make something like this to 'upgrade' the Clawhammer Supply BIAB spray nozzle that they include on their kit lids. It seems to work ok, but the flow rate always seems too low. Not much volume recirculating. Something like this mounted under the lid to their QD connects might be worth while.

I have a camlock on trip and barb on the inside of the cooler mash tun top, This sprays into a collinder at the top of the grain bed. If prefer using something like in the video but I'm not sure how to make the arm part adjustable? I guess I could cut several different length hoses, but wondering if you have any ideas.
Watch for supposed stainless steel worm clamps. The worm screw in a LOT of these are mild steel, not stainless steel. May not be entirely apparent, but if you get rust showing up after a few uses, then the worm is plain steel.....

Do you use this with the malt pipe and screen, or have you stopped using those? Do you use this with the flow restricting clamp that came with the anvil pump?
I would use it without the screen if I was using the malt pipe. I would also use it with a brew bag with or without the malt pipe. And yes you would still use the restriction clamp with the anvil pump. The video shows the pump wide open with no restriction. The thumbnail trickle you see is with about 60% flow cut off. 👍🍻

Brass is definitely not good to use. The wort can leech zinc into your beer. You might not taste it but it's not good for your health. 👍🍻

That would be what I would do. If you have hole in you kettle kid you could slide the house up and down for height inside. 👍🍻
