Olin, for a studio apartment, yours is a gem! The first suite I had when I moved out of my parent's home was so small that when I put the key in the door, I broke a window. It was so small, all the mice were hunchback. It was so small, I had to step outside to change my mind. Ba-dump-bump. "Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all week. Don't forget to tip your waitress, and try the veal."
Thanks for the tour. When I graduated from college I was lucky enough to have my apartment in a new building downtown on a high floor. Like yours, it was a convertible one bedroom and I loved it. At 420 sq. ft. it was more than enough space. Having a washer/dryer in your unit is the best feature IMO.
You hit the jackpot for your first-ever apartment! I love how the lack of closet space makes you think about what you need/want rather than complaining abt the lack of it. Nice one!
Hey, your studio is big and it's heaven on earth! Everything is well designed and well equipped, with a very modern but compact kitchen and a fairly spacious bathroom. When I was single, I lived in a 30 m² bachelorette-style studio. This gave me the challenge of optimizing the limited space to suit my tastes and lifestyle, without compromising on comfort.
Loved your apartment Olin, for a young guy your age, your mom must be super proud of who you have become. So loved the view everyday and most of all…..cozy living the life in Vancouver❤️
THIS IS PERFECT THE KITCHEN THE BATH I LOVE NEUTRAL COLORS IN A HOME AND APARTMENT IT IS SO CALMING ITS HOW MINE IS THIS ALL YOU NEED LOOKS BETTER THAN A 3 BEDROOM 🤣 AND THE VIEWS ARE AMAZING 😃 CONGRATULATIONS CUTIE
Wow - your apartment looks great for a young guy just starting out! The place itself with the window walls and clean-lined kitchen is nice, and you've made some good choices with neutral, basic, budget-friendly furniture. Particularly like your artwork and you'll be able to add more pieces as you find them. Only suggestion I have is to get a bigger rug in the living room area so it doesn't look like it is "floating" by itself. Usually looks best when at least the front legs of the sofa are on the carpet, and under the TV credenza. A bigger rug would define and tie that area together better.
You really did a job decorating your home with IKEA products, which now I feel I’m not that intimated by buying too much IKEA stuff just because my budget is limited. You can still make a place lively with interior design skills!🎉
Thanks for the tour Olin! You have a beautiful efficient compact place that you organize super well. Very impressive. Love your style. Gotta love those cigarette pencils. That's a hoot!😂 Sue
Hey thanks! the bed frame is from Ikea. I got years back so I don't think the sell it anymore. They sell one similar now but it's not as low to the ground.
Hey it's from Ikea, I got it a while back though so I don't know if they still sell this model. They have one close to it but it's not as low to the ground I think.

Hey thanks for the tips! I've actually been thinking about replacing the rug so I will keep that in mind. Thanks for watching!

Great little apartment! What neighborhood and if you’re not uncomfortable saying, what’s the rent? You did a great job decorating.
Lovely apartment!

Ya I think a mixture of some expensive and some more affordable products is the way to go :)
Lovely splace.
The wall above your sofa looks rather bare. Have you considered a mirror to give a greater sense of space and openness?
Sweet place! Picked up a few ideas myself. What exact fragrances are those that u have?!
Great video! Where's your patio seating from?
Hey it's from Ikea!
I love your interior design style! How would you describe it? Or what do you call it?
Hey thanks for watching! and I don't even know lol maybe some version of Scandinavian minimalism?
You say 'like' a lot ;)
haha I know, my family is always saying that lol
You got a link for the bed frame? lovely flat!!!
Hey I got it from Ikea years and years ago, they sell one similar now but it's not as low to the ground I don't think. Thanks for watching!

Hey thanks! the bed frame is from Ikea. I got years back so I don't think the sell it anymore. They sell one similar now but it's not as low to the ground.

Helo Olin.🙂 Where did you get the painting that's next to your little blue lamp? Thank you.
Hey It's from "the poster club"' by artist Hanna Peterson
Looks bigger than 486ft I think my master and ensuite is 600
Gotta ask.... How much is the rent per month...and does it include utilities and parking? Chill video BTW...
Hey my rent is $2170 a month and it comes with parking but I have to pay my own utilities. Thanks for watching!
Is that shoe rack from Ikea? I love Ikea. I've been meaning to find a shoe rack that is taller than mine.
Hey ya it is. It's the MACKAPAR. I have two of them stacked on top of each other so I can fit more shoes.
Which Ikea storage unit is that? 3:53
edit: nvm it's the Eket
where is the painting at 4:00 from?
i would like to adresse the peanut butter in the fridge
haha is that not normal? I just grew up like that
@@olinbrix now im intrigued, maybe I’ll try it. I’ll let you know.

A lovely apartment but his frequent use of the word ‘like’ peppered throughout the commentary made this clip unwatchable.
This is NOT Vancouver or the next suburb over. Stop mislabelling your videos. Is this even Port Coquitlam or is it Abbotsford?
I have a friend that lives in the building with the blue/green panels. It is right on the border of Vancouver/Burnaby.
it’s def NOT abbotsford, have you seen the skyscrapers? 🤣
Fair 😆, but definitely not downtown Vancouver or the westside.
Thanks for clarifying!
