Right? The kitchen is such a standout feature for a studio in Toronto! Tanya’s space really balances functionality and design beautifully, it’s such a gem.
Tanya is very articulate and describes all she has done to decorate her space very accurately and fluidly. Her studio apartment is quite large when outsiders look at it. She has done a wonderful job of utilizing every inch of space. The apartment feels very warm and cozy.
Tanya is a great speaker, I really enjoyed listening to her talk about all of her design choices and tips! She really gave us tons of introspect into her place :)
I LOVE your kitchen. I know some people living in big cities don’t bother cooking so a functional kitchen doesn’t matter, but to me, it’s not a home if you don’t cook in it.
Counter to some of the other comments here, I loved that they prioritized the kitchen in this studio! It really is the heart of the home. My studio has a teeny tiny kitchen and it makes cooking such a juggling act
I loooooove your space!! Thanks for welcoming us into your home. I appreciate you sharing where you got things from. Also, very impressed by your pull up 😁
Thank you for such a thoughtful comment! Tanya will be so happy to hear how much you love her space. And yes, that pull-up was super impressive - she’s amazing!
Fabulous ideas you have, yes truly cozy. I’m not a big plant person but I like how you have placed yours. Atleast you have a Juliette balcony better than nothing, Great job! 👍🏽🤗
My condo is 760 sq ft in the GTHA & my kitchen is tiny compared to Tanya’s. That’s a brilliant kitchen space. This condo has been beautifully designed, organized & lit. Well done.👍🏻🏆🇨🇦
Why is the kitchen bigger than the living area? Toronto has some major problems to fix, these condo layouts need to be better. Tanya did a good job making the most of her space though!
I clicked on this so fast because my Toronto condo has the same layout and I wanted to see how people use the kitchen space. I absolutely hate having the massive kitchen along the length of the condo. I’d prefer a corner kitchen and more living space. I’d hate having that large kitchen island. It takes up too much space imo.
You have done an AMAZING job and should be proud of yourself. It’s beautiful and didn’t cost a fortune! I too started using dark paint and chose one similar to yours. Makes all the difference to add some color even just a statement wall. Anyway congratulations on such a well done job!
Hi Tanya, would you ever consider painting the entry way a different colour? I feel like this is something that could help to separate the space a little more
Thank you so much - that truly means a lot to us! Keeping the tours authentic and organic is exactly what we aim for, so it’s amazing to hear that it resonates with you. We’ll definitely keep them coming!
Oh this is gorgeous, Tanya! Very well done! Love everything, especially the bathroom makeover. Two questions : #1 - what are the yellow tubular thingies in front of the window? #2 - was that a pantry to the right of the cooktop/oven area? Finally, thanks for discussing light temperature💡
I really like it but the only thing I would suggest is finding the wall space to add bigger art, that can really help a small space to look bigger. Otherwise the space is wonderful and thank you for sharing
just moved and this is such a great style inspo! and thank you for the lighting recc - i was thinking about investing in phillip hues lights since they can connect to google homes and can sync but they are a bit expensive - awesome that these can be on a widget and sync too! I love the closed shelf unit - def gonna need to hunt that down it is so cute!
I love the personal touches and the new bathroom renovation. I look forward to seeing the front hall entryway transformed perhaps in another video. Great job! It’s always nice to see someone personalize their space. I’m interested in lighting ✨ I couldn’t hear the name of the app that she’s using to control the lighting . I can’t read it in the transcript. Would you please let me know what this app is that controls all the lighting? It’s beautiful thank you ❤️
I have lived on my own for 23 I move every year year and a half due to circumstance I am also Canadian I've lived in many bachelor apartments I disagree with you on the open shelving thing. I have open shelving and baskets and bins for everything. Having a disability it works better. As far as the messy goes. You learn to clean, and put away your things and clean as you go. Hence no visual mess. Great job with your apartment though!
Love your apartment! The kitchen, particularly, appeals to me. The only thing I don’t much like is the bed/couch. I’d opt for a more conventional couch that could become a bed. I think box springs are a wasted opportunity for something that would offer storage, in addition to providing height for seating/bedding. Otherwise, you’ve really made this space a very comfortable and appealing home.
We hear you - rent can definitely be a challenge in cities like Toronto. Tanya’s done an amazing job making her space feel like home, and we’re glad we could share her creativity and resourcefulness with everyone!
Yes but 3000 us in New York…thats 4200. Cdn. so…….expensive is everwhere, same in San Fran, L.A., Boston, Miami, Seattle and on and on…Welcome to the U.S. 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Wonderful video. To this point, I was hoping to click that subscribe button. Nevertheless, after checking out your channel, I noticed that you post sporadically though. However, I look forward to watching the rest of the videos. You're on to something design wise for a channel. Your videos, and, the quality of them...have the potential for really great UA-cam channel. It's definitely informative. I wish you luck moving forward.
She nailed the cozy yet chic vibe. Love the eco-conscious touches too.
Oh wow that kitchen is HUGE… and in a studio that is unseen especially in Toronto
Right? The kitchen is such a standout feature for a studio in Toronto! Tanya’s space really balances functionality and design beautifully, it’s such a gem.
I live in a new condo, and my studio has the same size as her. Same layout
Who knew 400 sq ft could feel so spacious? Amazing design choices!
The vibes are insane it feels so cozy
Totally! Tanya's space really has that cozy, lived-in vibe that makes you want to stay forever. Thanks for watching!
This video gave me so many ideas for my own apartment. Thank you for sharing!
This may be the most glam studio I've ever seen 😮
Im obsessed with the ambient lighting
Love how cozy her place is. Great job!
Absolutely agree! Tanya’s done an amazing job making her space feel warm and inviting. So glad you enjoyed the tour!
@@theartofinteriors Welcome!
I LOVE your kitchen. I know some people living in big cities don’t bother cooking so a functional kitchen doesn’t matter, but to me, it’s not a home if you don’t cook in it.
Such a cool and warm vibe. Tanya did a fabulous job on the reno to make this her own.
Counter to some of the other comments here, I loved that they prioritized the kitchen in this studio! It really is the heart of the home. My studio has a teeny tiny kitchen and it makes cooking such a juggling act
What a nice & homey Studio Apartment !So livable.Enjoy staying in your apartment that you have so nicely planned.
This is one of the best cozy yet modern studios I’ve seen❤
I loooooove your space!! Thanks for welcoming us into your home. I appreciate you sharing where you got things from. Also, very impressed by your pull up 😁
Thank you for such a thoughtful comment! Tanya will be so happy to hear how much you love her space. And yes, that pull-up was super impressive - she’s amazing!
Thank youuu❤❤ the pull up comment made my day 😂
Fabulous ideas you have, yes truly cozy. I’m not a big plant person but I like how you have placed yours. Atleast you have a Juliette balcony better than nothing, Great job! 👍🏽🤗
Beautiful place ..really organised and so pretty..the lights are cozy..thank you for sharing 🎉❤😊
My condo is 760 sq ft in the GTHA & my kitchen is tiny compared to Tanya’s. That’s a brilliant kitchen space. This condo has been beautifully designed, organized & lit. Well done.👍🏻🏆🇨🇦
As far as the chin bar......NICE FORM !!!! I was super impressed !!! Cute place, too.
Why is the kitchen bigger than the living area? Toronto has some major problems to fix, these condo layouts need to be better. Tanya did a good job making the most of her space though!
I know, right?
I'm guessing it's a remodel and used to be a kitchen/dining room.
Having a large kitchen is more important if you're actually living in the unit unless you don't cook
I clicked on this so fast because my Toronto condo has the same layout and I wanted to see how people use the kitchen space. I absolutely hate having the massive kitchen along the length of the condo. I’d prefer a corner kitchen and more living space. I’d hate having that large kitchen island. Everyone into the kitchen! It’s a party!
Love your space Tanya!!!!
This is so cool! Has a boho vibe! Cozy and chic!
Such an inspiring space!
Running to shower head changing videos. The bathroom looks great! I also painted my apt white and makes a huge difference with the warm lighting
You have done an AMAZING job and should be proud of yourself. It’s beautiful and didn’t cost a fortune! I too started using dark paint and chose one similar to yours. Makes all the difference to add some color even just a statement wall. Anyway congratulations on such a well done job!
Very cozy indeed. I love your kitchen!! Colour palette is beautiful.
Very lovely apartment❤❤❤. Well decorated, and you made the most of the space you were given. Very warm, and serene vibe overall.
So beautiful and cozy. And the Tales of the Jedi picture featuring Ahsoka? Chef's kiss!
i love her energy!
Wow! you have done a great job! I like the wall paint.
Just fabulous. And absolutely, soft, warm lighting is so much nicer than big glaring overhead lights. Great job, Tanya!
Her bathroom is very dark and rich.. really has that spa like she was going for
Very Nice! Thank You for sharing🦋
Very lovely Tanya! Many continued blessings!
Oh Tanya, I love your home !! I wish you lived in Palm Springs and we could go shopping at Home Goods !!
I wish I did too❤❤
That bathroom is gorgeous!
Insane job. Definitely taking some concepts.
Yes To This Space From The Caribbean.
Beautiful. Very tasteful!
Thank you! Tanya has such a great eye for design - it really shows in her space!
Love the idea of the light in the kitchen corner. Also, your bathroom reno looks great!
This is amazing! Especially washroom. I wish I could hire her
Cozy is the new black! ❤
Hi Tanya, would you ever consider painting the entry way a different colour? I feel like this is something that could help to separate the space a little more
100% I love this idea! That’s the next project :)
Love these vids keep them coming, the home tours feel organic vs other interior design channels
Also, dope place Tanya! Definitely made the most of your space and shows a lot of your personality
Thank you so much - that truly means a lot to us! Keeping the tours authentic and organic is exactly what we aim for, so it’s amazing to hear that it resonates with you. We’ll definitely keep them coming!
Love the kitchen! 👍😎🇨🇦
LOL that ending is a good touch “first try” 😂
THANK YOU FOR NOTICING THAT ❤❤😂
Love it! 🥰
You are charming and very easy to listen to....enjoyed your video.
We couldn’t agree more - Tanya has such a calming and warm presence! So glad you enjoyed the tour.
Thank you ❤ this comment & reply made my day
Loved this and worth the curiosity! Thanks for sharing 🤩❤️
So glad you enjoyed it! Tanya's space is definitely worth the curiosity-happy to share her cozy oasis with you. 😊❤
Nicely done! Kitchen and bathroom are definitely one of the best layouts ever! Did I miss the refrigerator?
I also ordered ceiling hooks from Amazon. I have yet to put them up and hang my lanterns. I can’t wait.
Beautiful space. You are very talented.
Great transformation!👏👏👏💯👌
Oh this is so homey!!! I love it!!! I want to make one of these videos.
Cool 😎 apartment! Thanks for the tour!

Finally, thanks for discussing light temperature💡
Thank you so much❤❤
#1 - the yellow things are parrallette bars - some more workout gear.
#2 - that is actually my fridge! Which looks like cabinets 😂
Beautiful space, beautiful human ✨
Great idea for exercise!
I really like it but the only thing I would suggest is finding the wall space to add bigger art, that can really help a small space to look bigger. Otherwise the space is wonderful and thank you for sharing
Looks nice and cozy, well organized. But what's the rent like? 5k/m?
Gorgeous apartment 💕

Your place looks huge for some reason! I love your kitchen island! Great design and layout!😊
It really does give that impression, doesn’t it? Tanya made such great use of the space! And yes, the kitchen island is such a standout feature.
Love her style
Her style is amazing, isn’t it? So glad you enjoyed the tour!

Greetings from oakville thanks for the presentation
Very nice!
I seen someone walk in the hallway of the other building @08:24 that’s a pretty cool view haha
Good eye! Haha 😆

You’re so right, I’m still learning the cleaning part 🥲 thanks for this perspective & insight ❤
WoW ❤❤❤😊😊😊🎉🎉awesome
This feels very large for being 400 sq ft (37 sqm)
Beautiful! What was the name of the place for the smart lighting? Thanks!
Ur blessed I would kill for something like this in fact anyone watching this would
Blessed to live in an overpriced dorm room? Get real.
So beautiful ❤
very functional layout it really is just a long rectangle
A good decorative mirror would be good to put instead of those frames at the wall in front of the kitchen 😊
Amazing ❤
Thank you! Tanya’s studio truly is amazing - we’re so glad you loved it ❤
The island is amazing. You could get some stools and use it as a dining room
I ❤ the kitchen
Beautiful❤
Nice work.
Very nice.
Quite nice actually
Very nice. Where did you get your chin up bar please?
Amazon!

I gotta hand it to you. You have GREAT taste.
How does the clothing storage work?
Beautiful
Love this! Where is the hexagon yellow light thingy above your bed from?
She mentions all the lighting being from govee, so they are probably the Govee Glide Hexa Light Panels
Dollars-to-donuts this place tops $2K a month. Welcome to Canada!

Please let me know how to find Goby (spelling?) lighting. Thank you.
Govee* lighting :) on Amazon
@tanyashukla3238 Gracias!
Its not a house, but a beautiful apartment/flat.
No. It's a glorified dorm room.
she’s cool
Totally agree! Tanya’s style and creativity make her space so inspiring. Glad you enjoyed the tour!
whats the brand of smart lighting in her place? i need it pls
My studio condo has the same layout as her, but I dont have an island.
She says she hosts dinner parties. We could sneak in and take her island
