Fouad brining the HEAT... love these podcasts with the top teachers in Bodybuilding. You’re able to take a little bit from each one and become very well rounded. Thanks Hoss 💪🏻
I find Fouad is an extremely good host. You see the people he invites in other podcasts and they don't shine just as much. Fouads asks them the right questions and gives them the needed space to make them feel comfortable. Really happy to find out this channel
You don’t know how good you are at this Fouad. Been listening to your podcast since the start and it’s still the only one that jumps the queue to be listened to right away.
Great podcast. I really love hearing the X’s and O’s of bodybuilding being explained in so simplistically. Patrick is such a wealth of knowledge and he does a good job of that. I’d love to see Fouad do a show where Patrick coached every aspect from start to finish. That would be something!
Holy moly I have just started binge watching and listening to your podcasts the last two weeks and have learnt a ton! Bodybuilding is the best and glad to find bodybuilders like you who share such great information and never cease to make me crack up. Much love❤️💪🏻
class is in session, man patrick is got such a clear way of explaining the mechanics of body building. Thanks Fouad for all the content you share with the rest of us.
NO FRIGGIN WAY! Another Patrick Tour podcast?? And right as I start cardio!!¿ Fouad you must be looking down on me as I get through this prep, thank you so much Hoss!
Thanks for another great conversation Fouad. Patrick is a great guest. Coincidentally I watched the entire first episode with Pat yesterday so this was great timing.
Amazing episode and I must admit fouad is the best interviewer there is on UA-cam at the moment. Asks all the questions the regular lifter would want to know and isn’t afraid to challenge someone, brilliant
The most informative pod i have ever seen regarding so many different compounds and how to use correctly and why or why not. Brilliant pod Fouad, thank you
Fouad......I was a bodybuilder in the 90's,,,,,,,,,friends with Chris Cormier etc.......recently have made a road back to my roots after about 20 years being away and started training again. I'm 52 so I have no desire to compete again but would like to get back into training for the love of it. I've missed that part of my life. Long story short, I don't know much about your bb career but I've been watching your channel and you put out some great stuff. Guys like you are great representatives of the sport.
Love the Podcast and especially the ones with Patrick! He is insanely knowledgeable, has an insane amount of experience as a coach and provides so much great advise and tips. And Fouad you're doing a great job with the podcast and in Patrick's case tickling out the information that can be really valuable for many people! I love it. Keep it up please and I'm looking forward to the next episode with Patrick! Idea for the next one with him: get him on air with Iain, James and maybe Ben or somebody and ask them about some anecdotes from the time working with Patrick. This could be very entertaining and fun to listen to! Cheers brother
WOW! This was a monumental video for everyone who is trying to be competitive without access to people like Patrick. I love his views and perspective. He uses science with bro science to create REAL results.
Love your channel bro, always looking forward to your next episode. May I suggest to try to get Doug Brignole on the show, would be interesting to see this interview
Fouad, love the pod. I swear my family is going to think that I wanna get on the gear just because I'm watch/listen to you, but I just find you really entertaining and informative plus I know Iain personally from back in high school so that is how I ended up watching/listening in the first place. Keep it up my man!
The man's a genius, Fouad :) Hardcore yet sensible, and a critical thinker. Thanks for interviewing him. We're all a little smarter and safer after that.
I watched your newest podcast with James and Ben. And you were talking about Patrick and how smart he is but how he explains things so we all understand it. And I'll tell you what man I've learned quite a bit. A lot of things that I just thought were just dead nuts true and that's how we had to stick to it. Well my perspective has changed on a few things. So thanks for the great content again and keep it up bro
This guy has done his homework. Usually I’m cringing when I’m listening to “coaches”. With this guy, every time he mentioned something I’m a bit in the know about, I would think:” UNLESS this....” and then he would mention it! 2 thumbs up!
Reacted too soon. Lol “Corn syrup is bad sugar”??!? Please define bad sugar for me. Corn syrup is glucose and fructose same as table sugar, same as the sugar in the jam he is recommending. WTF?
Great content! You get some great info out of him. I would like to hear and see how he would build a diet around us guys who work a 9 hour day then train late evening ?? We can maybe only get in two meals before bed and we want carbs in there to recover from the workout. Carb cycling per day is something we can do but when he talks about having all the carbs early in the day, taper them off and higher the fats towards the end of the day. That’s on for guys who train earlier in the day.
I love this guy, If I wasn’t a nut in my early 20s and got all tattooed up.... I would have paid a pretty penny to hire this guy to help me compete.. but maybe my body will thank me later for not going down that road anyways. This aside, thanks so much for the content you put out man even as a non competitor this information is extremely valuable
Extremely informative especially his thoughts on training. His use of gh was extremely helpful. I never thought about how counterproductive using gh first thing in the morning without aminos and carbs. Splitting up the gh in the was he suggested is scientific more optimal for muscle growth and usage of 4-6 ius for muscle growth. I always used just 2 ius a day but he makes sense if I am doing that to burn fat there are less expensive alternatives in doing so. I am going to try to go up and ius and experiment with his use of insulin as non catabolic not a muscle growth tool. Thanks for the knowledge peter and fouad thanks for giving him the platform.
Absolutely loving these podcasts. You are helping people so much by letting us listen to the best coaches/bodybuilders in the world just talk. Would like to see dr.dean back on the podcast. Also, his supps are only available in the UK. I love to see hostile bring something similar to the states. I don't trust half of these supplement companies lol.
@@FouadAbiad I know but hosstile doesn't offer some of the same supplements that the company Supplements Needs offers. I don't trust a lot of companies but I trust hostile, and if they brought something to similar I would insta buy. Specifically the vitamins and mineral stack and electrolyte stack. Gotta have that 3 to 1 ratio ;).. Love the current supps you already offer though.
So interesting as always. Human metabolism is such a fascinating and complex topic...regarding honey vs jam and glucose vs fructose, it's been shown that because of co-transports, having fructose along with the glucose yields a better intramuscular uptake of glucose compared to glucose alone. But then experiments are usually done on bike riders, so the effort is very different, the kinetics of glycogen depletion are different, the insulin secretion profile is obviously different (external insulin "supplementation" notwithstanding) etc... I agree with you rice and honey is delicious and rice and jam sounds a bit more "meh", but you could try both, honey + jam, just in case that glucose loading benefits from the fructose co-transport for you and your training style on leg day?
Quick question. If the more you eat the more you grow and its very hard to get in the amount of food pro bodybuilders need to maximize growth and the appetite wont alow to do it so why dont you try drinking cide vinegar with each meal. We know stomach uses acid to digest the food and the vinegar we drink will help digest it more quickly? I know my English is awful but hope you got the point 😳
I agree with Patrick Tour, the olive oil is always a better choice than coconut oil. I do also use the Coconut oil some if I am carrying some extra unwanted weight. I only eat in a surplus when I am bulking so, my carbs are generally in an average amount. If you eat too many calories at my age, soon to be 59 then you will surely pack on the fat. I don't use any peds and never have, when you are younger and on peds you can eat in a surplus as well as pack on more muscle. I stick to a slighter higher caloric intake, I can still build quality muscle by my training, diet and creatine monohydrate, I always warm up, I then put some real weight on, my rep range is about 8-13 with failure on each counted working set, my sets are between 4-6 sets. If you don't do this, you'll never go beyond your plateau. I'm not exactly small for my age and height, I'm 5'11" and I'm 193 pounds as you can see I'm not Jacked either, I am still able to keep my 28" inch waist however. I think age, diet, training, correct carb cycling plays a big role in size, the age factor means, are you putting more pressure on your heart, kidney's and liver when you are aged and trying to get more jacked? The second question is are you able to keep your waist line? I think this plays a big role in bodybuilding when you are aged and advanced, this is why we are seeing more heart disease, higher LDL, strokes, metabolism problems, and the real question is this: Would you rather live a longer life, be with your loved ones, at the same time putting less pressure on your body when you are more aged? When you are younger, you can pack on more muscle size, the science shows proven by facts that when you age more, you tend to lose some muscle in time?
Pumping out quality content as always, so weird this is epsiode 51! Is till remember watching and then listening to episode 1 of rpb and bb&b. Couldnt live without anymore i think, thanks for all the info, time and effort.
