Normally devs make something OP so people will use it, then nerf it to be niche. Unless that metal pile was 3000 metal or something, the metal detector feels even less worth it than the flamethrower.
@@planetwomanizzi it gives a nice amount of resources, 22 metal 5 hqm idk what else considering you can use it in remote locations with no need for barrels/recycler its pretty good
I am always so overwhelmed at how good these cinematics are to watch. I would absolutely watch an entire Rust movie like this. Also, quick pick-up of backpacks is sweet!
There are some content creators that make movies like this. This is in game stuff that is available to everyone. It's all about creativity, imagination and for most parts, a good pc and 1 or 2 friends, to be the "rag dolls" and stunts xD

Just seeing their eye and head movements shows impossible in-game replications. Trust me, Paddy does a fantastic job making these, but it absolutely can't be done the same purely in-game.

What about a map with a procedurally generated lake in the middle? With plenty of rivers too! And maybe have the outer part of the map covered in very high mountains (for farming trees and nodes) A circular railway network too! Very complicated but would be refreshing

I am a full pvp'er but I want to play with my brothers and some friends but they dont really like the pvp and the wipe, they want to have a server that we can have all the loot forever and just keep building, kind of like 7 days to die, it would be really cool if you could have settings to spawn more scientists or zombies from halloween etc to make it more pve challenging too. also not sure if this is the right place to ask for this xd, should i post it somewhere else?

They did mention reworking rivers in the future. It's on the roadmap for 2024.
