That explains the supply drops and crates and helicopters that patrol the island to give resources like we are an ant farm. The ballistic missile is also a missle carrying three warheads, which spread out to destroy the island around this bunker for higher chances of survival, since this bunker is expensive and the NPCs are still there, but they would leave. If it was one single missle, it would strike the middle and kill everything, maybe this place too depending on how close to the center it is. If it is not in the center, the three warheads would still make sense +seen on that crate+ and if it was to wipe like this, a warhead to the side would have to wipe this thing out too most likely, or even if it strikes anywhere and even itself.
Omg, there needs to be an animation at the end of any wipe where you see the nuke get launched and then land and annihilate everything. That would actually be so sick. People would stay until the end of wipe just to see the event.
There is such animation. I just received it yesterday when my team advanced the Rust Major event to the next Phase. I'll put it on the video I'm editing about the event.

Last night after the force wipe we are chillin in our base because it was night time and all of a sudden we hear a f**king jet passing by. We couldn't believe it so we went outside just to watch and in another few seconds the jet flew over our base again. The whole chat was spammed by people asking what is the Jet doing there. Let's just say this wipe is something extra. We are eagerly waiting for the end of the wipe, that will be epic. Well done Facepunch. you just reminded me why this was the best steam purchase i have ever made.

@@Galaxylogic. a majority of this was edited and animated within the games engine, a majority of these animations are impossible in game/in client side. So don’t get your hopes up there. Rust as a game for cinematography is very limited. Trust me. I’ve been working on my film/machinima in game for around 3 years now 😅

Rust is literally the most W game. I can't even play it more the way it's meant to be because I work so often but even just snowballing during a single session shows me how much goes into this game. Literally a labor of love. Not to mention all the amazing content that creators make here on YT in the game. Facepunch deserves all the good things.
you cant just make a better ai, it's not that simple. It takes a lot of developement hours so also a lot of money to actually improve or even create anything. So they are kinda limited on what to do because all of it is very costly.

I feel like the story line of RUST is finally being fleshed out and brought to life with this Nuclear Missile Silo monument now. I've made over 20 Rust maps and tried to use the "lore" being built up behind the context clues of the world to create "story line" true worlds, it is great to see the developers embracing it, along with all of the little things the modding and mapping community have created over the years being integrated. :)
I remember starting in 2015. The first time I loaded into fresh new server. Thinking to myself how cool the game looks and how everything is just so nice. Now 8 years later I keep getting amazed by how this game has developed. From bunch of nerds making a DayZ clone to defining what arcade survival shooter is. And now, we even have lore behind all this. I can't wait to explore the full lore of this game myself. Thank you facepunch for 8 years of great pain and fun.

Exciting and nice but i always wondered why there is not a bigger map. I know it keeps the gameplay on action but there are quite lot players just play for the adventure and exploration. I ve been playing on low populated servers for almost 4 years to explore the land and decayed bases. I tried a lot story based post apocalytic games but nothing felt like Rust. Rust feels like organic and natural but the problem is for me you can explore the whole map under an hour. I think Rust has huge potential if the map can be like 3x or 4x bigger. Anyways thanks for keeping the game updated.

Just another useless thing that no one asked for. Do y’all realize that y’all are continuously making things harder for solos and easier for groups? Some of your biggest Rust content creators mostly play solo as do a lot of new players yet all y’all ever do is pander to groups and nerf solo players. How much is nerfing Rust+ and removing green crates from ziplines going to nerf groups? Now how much will it nerf solos? It’s not going to nerf groups because you can just leave one person behind at the computer station at base to watch the camera and literally livestream them through discord but what is a solo going to do? Buy Rust which seems to be taking the same route as battlefield 2042 for a second time knowing at this rate it’ll be a dead game in a few years? No, a solo can’t do anything, Rust+ equalized the playing field but nerfing it the way that y’all are is literally buffing groups and nerfing solos. And as far as the green crates, really? Green crates are hard enough to get as a solo so I’d like to see the reasoning for removing them from ziplines which will have zero effect on groups. Y’all need to start involving various content creators in your decision making because clearly no one at facepunch actually plays the game and if they do it’s definitely as a farmer in a zerg that lets them roofcamp with the m2 in exchange for sulfur. I’m not trying to rant but I can’t fathom how the same people that made the best game on the planet are also the ones ruining it.

In fact you can generate huge maps with all the rads but few people would play it and it takes a lot of resources on the server.

As for the update, when I entered the official servers, I could not see a value higher than 50 fps. Now I'll have to play the game at 25-30fps...
