He actually walked from the back of the auditorium slowly up the left center isle singing with the most beautiful and amazing voice like that of an angel. Every head in the entire place was turned towards him with a look of pleasurable astonishment on their faces. It was an experience I will never forget and I got to experience it several times during practices as well as every live performance. Those were the good old days.

Right after I saw this I went home and pre ordered it on iTunes. I loved it. There was not a dry eye in that theater during this movie, and everyone was singing during I can only imagine.❤️🙏🏻✝️

Good movie
This was my favorite scene, but they cut off the song! I was overwhelmed when he started to sing "Oh, What a Beautiful Morning". But then I love that Broadway stuff.

If you watch an actual production of Oklahoma!, there’s a traditional way of doing this song. The actor who portrays Curly sings the first 12 bars of the song offstage, and the instrumentation doesn’t come in until that exact point. I kinda wish the director of this movie had put that into consideration.
Priscilla acts like Miss Clara a little bit in this movie ;)

I missed something that was a "key" in the movie because I couldn't see the screen very well. What was the pamphlet or letter that he found and read when he was sitting in the truck? That was a turning point becase whatever he read in the truck made him think about forgiving his dad.
The letter said that his dad has terminal cancer, which causes Bart to put two and two together on why the sudden change in behavior.
He goes into the barn where he sees his dad on the ground no doubt in pain. The dad notices Bart has a baseball bat and assumes it’s payback for the years of abuse. But Bart holds it out to him and helps him to his feet. From then on, their relationship improves.
The letter that he found in the truck was the one that stated that his father had pancreatic cancer. That is what it was.

I have yet to see this film but I believe Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 70% approval rating. I have seen other Christian films like Unconditional, Ragamuffin, and The One I Wrote For You and all three were good from a quality standpoint in my opinion. The problem with so many Christian films today is that they convey a powerful message about God which is fine but the quality of them is extremely poor. I just think it's possible to make a Christian film that actually has good acting and a good storyline.
