THIS IS NOT SLASH. This is a video about Thor and Loki's brotherly relationship (FULL OF ANGST AND BITTERSWEETNESS).
I've wanted to make this video for so long! So fun to get back into vid-making. Hope you all enjoy the FEELS! :')
In his own way, Loki really loves his brother Thor.

The cliche is that when you have a villain they are evil, but if they're good looking, then they're misunderstood, thanks to fandoms. But come on, we can all relate to Loki's demons, he just feels so lonely and out of place, left out, abandoned, and can't bring himself to trust even Thor. He's one of those villains in stories you've all right to feel bad for and cry for.
Basically.
Well he was upset that Thor was always the best and Thor got the throne and that he was always in his shadow so when he found out he was adopted he was really angry and misunderstood but not evil.
@@AutumnLoki Wether or not Thor was really better could be debatable But it was clear that Daddy always put Thor first even though Odin always said they were both being groomed for the thrown.
Not entireyly true. I mean the villain in IronMan3 is good looking, but we still hate him since he's a literal jerk for no good reason. And the villain in Black-panther is pretty okay as well, but once again most of us don't love him either mainly because it didnt feel like he had much love for his anyone in the end.
So its not ENTIRELY about looks. Sure that does influence. But it also has to do with how relatable the characters are, how much they develop, plus they sorta need to be good in the end (Loki makes an appearence in 6 movies total and we get to see him develop for 5, so plenty of time to EVENTUALLY fall in love with him).
Also, i didn't start caring about his looks until AFTER i liked his character. In the first film, Thor was considered handsome in my book, and while Loke was cute, i didn't care for it cause he was a total villain (only realised he was suffering AFTER he attempted to commit suicide).
@@amatullahm2384 Loki is relatable and to those in asgard they never appreciate loki. You are right about its not just attractiveness but also loki has his own charm. Loki has been the shadow of thor since childhood, thor who was loved by all people which is the reason I am a fan of loki than thor.
We humans relate to some villains story because while heroes are predictable and blinded with morality of "goodness", none of those heroes goes to see whats underneath the darker side of the horror of reality.
None really appreciated loki, only frigga does though which is why I respect her although what if frigga was to choose? Her love of thor or loki.
Loki is all mischief and trouble,yes,but they never understood the deeper meaning of the chaos that loki brings. Some say chaos is evil and morally "wrong" but none understood loki that chaos is also refers "Changes". They label loki for lies but they only never sees that it might be half-truth or they hate being told what they refuse to acknowledge which is why he's called liesmith which is horrible.
I have respect and admired loki even as a villain as in the movie.
I cried but hey the perks of being in fandoms right?

Thor: the moment right before Loki says 'Your not.' Is heart breaking.
You know, I've yet to sit down and watch the movies -- have gotten them in bits and pieces, mostly while donating blood plasma, along with lots of fanvids. So when I first encountered the Frigga hologram, I thought it was Loki making an illusion to comfort himself after her death -- that when she asked "Am I not your mother?" and he brought himself to say "You're not" and breaking the spell, it was him accepting that she was gone and not letting himself cling to an illusion, an unreality. Like, the god of lies and illusions, choosing to accept a painful truth rather than get caught up in a pleasant fiction.
It's still heartbreaking the canon way, but this way that my brain interpreted the clip out of context has its own sort of heartrend to it.
Thor: Through all the evil he's done to me I still believe my brother from the many younger years is still there. He thinks he's hurting me, but the more he hurts or lies to me, it tells me that he's having fun. Also, when he hurts somone, it means he is hurting or sad. That shows that my brother is still in there, somewhere.
...
Thor: And even if he threats to kill me or anyone close, I know it's not true. For I am his brother, bonded by blood or not, we are family. So he can lie and threat to hurt me all he wants, but he will always be by brother, no matter if he wants to know it or not. I love him and there is nothing he could do to make me love him any less.

Dear Marvel,
Bring Loki back. We all need him, Thor needs him, Marvel needs him. He has been and always will be my favorite Marvel character because oddly, I can relate to him just like other people. He causes trouble to get attention, he just wants to be accepted so he does all these things to make sure he can be wanted when really...he was wanted. He was wanted by Thor, by all of his fans. But he never knew that. Loki is the type of villian that is not a villian at all. He is just misunderstood, and he is a hurt little kid that suddenly realizes that Odin is not his real dad, and he never was. Just like he was never Odin's favorite. But there was somethine he NEVER noticed. He was so caught up in the fact that he wasn't Odin's favorite...that he didn't notice he was Thor's favorite.
We all miss Loki, and please don't take him away..please.
There is no Thor without Loki and No Loki without Thor.

Your pacing is... amazing. Most videos manage to get the song right but the pace always goes askew somewhere during the video and you find yourself watching things move fast when the music is slow.

I cried..
Usually im not a fan of videos where the lyrics match the clips so literally, this is because its hard to edit it that way without it looking "cheap".
But, you really managed to capture the sequence of the clips and moments beautifully so i suppose this is one of the very few exceptions i DO like

Many say Loki is a villain , but nobody sees the good in him. Loki earns so much more. Nobody notices how Loki tries to change Odin's mind in Thor 1. Loki is one of my favorite characters.

It's called the "No Killing" deleted scene from Thor 2 (during the escape from Asgard). It was only released online...isn't that a shame? It shows that Loki and Thor use very different methods in breaking out. And I noticed they photoshopped Jane out of the final version, but she was originally there when it was shot.
