Well, if the penny doubles every day, and the doubles are exact copies of the original, than they would also have the property of doubling every day. But what's more, though they are exact copies, while the first penny is on its second day, the second penny is only on its first... So every day, you'd still be getting new Pennies that have 30 days left to double.
The sad fact is that you're not really growing as good as this example. Sometimes where you feel like you're facing against a wall as well as days where your work is ruined by something unforeseen could really hinder your progress. Also, great! Now you have earned $5.368.709.12 IN PENNIES. Good luck converting all of that money, yeah just give me the 1 million $ in marked bills
Or you could just take that million dollars and invest in your own business making you more money than the penny would with less time wasted waiting for earnings to grow.
