- This Video shows the operations that take place inside our Tower during our Tower Pheasant Hunt Fundraiser. As you can see things don't always go as planned and sometimes become comical. I have removed the time that it takes for stations to rotate, it is a lot of down time waiting on the rotations.
I am sure there’s a lot of American shooting people who find the chucking up of captive birds to waiting guns shocking , has nothing to do with hunting ,totally artificial, 🤔what next deer tied to fence posts so they don’t move about to much.
This activity is about teaching younger hunters I think I just filmed it
Sad
Why sad these birds are raised for food
Universal Survival NC they don’t really stand much of a chance
@@nateviningre4051 neither do chickens or cows lol
@@upinair4990 😂
That’s shocking, who in there right mind would do this , can’t believe it 😞 it’s nothing to do with hunting. What country allows this
USA
As a Brit who enjoys driven game shooting I have to say this is a disgusting, not just the style of throwing a single bird to a team of guns but apparently respecting your quarry hasn’t been thought about here.
The birds are purchased and then released for the owners to attempt a kill. Some actually escape. It is also used as a means to train retrievers
I'm pretty sure tower shoots have the same progenitor as pigeon shoots in England and France. I get that you like your stocked birds being driven by beaters, but your still dealing with pen raised birds being driven to a line of shooters who paid to be there.
@@jmdavis45 Uk Pheasants are out of the pen and in the woods free for 6 months before they start shooting. British shooting people would be appalled by what you guys are doing. 🙁 not sport at all 😞birds got no chance
@@shaunjones6049 you are not actually a hunter or shooter are you? If you were you would know that people miss oftentimes more than they hit. At a given tower shoot that I have attended, 30-50% of the birds escape for that reason we normally have a hunt with pointers and retrievers immediately after the tower shoot.
But to be honest I am glad you are appalled. It gives me a warm feeling.
@@jmdavis45 High Mr Davis, I shoot once a week, and I have worked on uk Pheasant shoots for over 30yrs . Have seen many American people come to Gloucestershire to shoot driven Pheasant and enjoy proper shooting . I am sure a lot of American shooting people would share my views on your so called hunting.
This is the most pathetic way of "hunting" I have ever seen
Its not meant to be hunting its more of a god way to teach young hunters
The amount of people crying in theses comments is hilarious. Cry some more.
Thanks for watching
