When I was a younger man, I was blessed to have uncles that would take me Pheasant hunting in the fall every year. I haven’t gone in many decades now, as my relatives are all gone now. We would travel to upper Wisconsin or the Michigan upper peninsula area. I was most enchanted with fall colors, the topography and plethora of wild animals! I live close to a city as a young man, so we didn’t see this in every day life. I could not believe how many birds were flying around in your video! This place is so picturesque, absolutely stunning! It would definitely be a bucket list place to go for many of us! Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful experience!
Great vlog! spent many days hunting pheasants in America. It was interesting to see the different techniques of driving and loading. the food looked wonderful. Nice to see your boyfriend and your interaction with him. One of your best!
Hi Evie love your farming videos keep it up. I do have a quick question I'm just wondering how I can get into farming I used to work on a dairy farm between the ages of 7 to 13 which I stopped working on when they closed their doors forever after they were hit heavy with foot and mouth I'm now 33 going on 34 I'm currently studying mixed farming with the horticultural correspondence college and im just wondering what would be your advice on the best way of getting back into farming. Thankyou in advance.
Hey evie, hopn u doing fi9,just came across your vlogs, i really love watching ur videos, bit addicted with youe videos n even you, gawjus beauty with smiley face, keep it up good job, love you and your family😍. Life in your part is bit slow n charming from hustle bustle life of london, loads of love from Pakistan.
Sooooo...we finally get to meet the very lucky Mystery Man Sam...who, quite naturally, with our beautiful & charming hostess Evie, we knew must exist...and, Sam does certainly seem like a fine gentleman & a great match for Evie...&, yes, I am one of your many American viewers--a surfer from San Diego, believe it or not...I'm no hunter at all, but I'm not at all put-off by your pheasant hunting...perhaps, as Sam says, I tend to be more "rural-minded"...in any event, I can certainly appreciate, & respect, your traditions...and, WOW--what a first-class operation that was! Another great video Evie!! Cheers from Cali 😊
Several big ones around here ,Tregoyd,by Hay on wye,Stanage,Downton Estates, around Ludlow brings a lot income into the rural areas, bird flu has affected some of shoots ,ie broiler units, laying hens cant get insurance
Great video, Evie, beautiful countryside. Do you hunt on your farm? There are some places around the country that offer driven shoots but the vast majority of pheasant hunting is with dogs. Oh, by the way, tell your boyfriend that he is a lucky fella to have you.
Great vlog can't beat a bit of pheasant shooting I shot my self so I know where your both coming from , it's a great way to meet like minded people and speak to other Ie the beaters and pickers up , you can't beat good fresh game at all shame more none shooting people don't eat it , I would love to see more vlogs like this definitely
I’ve shot vermin all my life but never been on a pheasant shoot. It’s my goal in 2024 to do this next season and follow my roots and my dad was a keeper. I’m just curious how to get into a shoot on my own. It’s quite daunting. Do you know all the guns? Any advice? Thanks
Looked like a great time. Your dog did great. I love watching dogs work. Here in America the dogs lead and hunters follow. On command a dog will flush the bird. We also load for ourselves, between flush’s.
Fabulous day out, would definitely be a bucket list. Im jealous 😮 very nice to meet your boyfriend, seems like a nice ladd. Wish we had a BOUJEE shoot like that here in the states.
Such a shame such ignorant people who have no idea about the countryside have to comment on something they have no experience of or understand the bigger picture , Well done for a super film and long May you continue do the right thing and support proper countryside management
I'm in Tasmania, Australia. We have one driven game shoot in the state. And it is crazy expensive and near impossible to get on a peg ,even if you do know someone to get you there. 😕
i think your fella and you will have to watchout i dont thing these anti hunters will approve of you showing this shoot and the way the shooters life stile
I enjoy the old Pheasant Hunts and the Style of the Hunt & Sports club. They still exists in the US and are popular if you have the 1.invite / 2.$$$$. Near my home in the US is a large one next to a National Park that was Babe Ruth’s favorite place to fish & Hunt, It’s over 100k to join if you get invited, never ask to join your name would go to the bottom of the list if you do. Here those clubs are similar to exclusive Golf or Country Clubs. Byrd hunting is very popular with the masses, Duck & Quail. Most ordinary hunters/farmers will plant a field in mixed cover Oats/Barley/RedSorghum let it go to seed (like bird food) right before Hunt Season and head out to a blind with a double barrel. More of a pass time, few I see ever eat Duck or Quail. I enjoy more the old traditional country side even if it is High End: wish some of that would come down a few notches though. Best to you & the Farm Family,
Being from the states this is definitely different.a guy to load your gun and no hunter orange. But looks like a good time.any day hunting is better than work
Did Sam forget to mention why he likes begining of season .only time he can hit em lol looks a great shoot but way out of price range keep it up cracking video
this at bettws game hall did my work experience here and worked on farms in the area and went to school in the village and it might be rich mans sport but the industry supports so many jobs you 2 want go ratting or rabbiting give us a shout.
I think it's important to keep traditional country sports alive, id rather the game supplied to the food market come from shoots than factory farmed stock, it keeps the traditional sport alive and good quality game on British tables. Absolutely love labradors they have so much drive to work and such loyal dogos and they will work all day loñg for a few scooby snacks well done Russell 🐾 great content as always ✌🏽
Great vlog 😊 Well done on your pair ... Some very difficult birds to shoot even with those numbers ...which I've never seen so many birds in the air ! What a well organised shoot..... As per our weather never lets us down does it 😂😂😂 Keep up the great work 💪🏻 Gary 🦉🦉🦉
Looking dapa,it's a lifestyle, the birds are raised for that purpose only,I would be good to show of more of the country side and things you do in it like shooting ect nice to see your other half Evie ,thanks for sharing
the feller i worked for once, had shoots quite regularly but i didnt like like it. strange because i loved going clay shooting. its not about killing live birds, it just wasnt me. but mum used to to say when i came back from clays, i dont mind you going, but i wouldnt mind if you brought something back to eat. i think she was joking. mums are like that. good insight to something that people not not know about. good on you evie.
