This is on Radio Island that faces the turnaround basin and across from the Morehead City Port. Pretty good fishing area! The Port walls WERE famous for catching flounder, but NC has made flounder fishing off-limits except for 2 week in September. Supposedly NC flounder were depleted. I go to SC for fishing where flounder are not depleted and okay to catch and keep. Weird...
