its hard for people who are not into sports to fully relate to what's going here. This guy more than likely spent all of his childhood watching the eagles play....year in and year out. At some point you become fully vested emotionally and so when the ultimate goal is reached after all these years...well this is what happens.
BIGGSHAUN so damn true. I cried like a baby. It’s was my sons bday on the 4th and he jumped in my arms and said they did it for me dad. I lost my shit. Go birds!!!! Waited 38 long ass years for this!
*Foolish* Demon I was jumping for joy and screaming so I don't have to cry in front of my family and friends.Even when I watched all these videos of the fans reaction and Eagles winning the Superbowl, I still get emotional .
you can ask anyone that knows me well. I dont cry during sad parts in movies or TV shows ....and I mean never!! but after that Brandon Graham strip sack I had to fight back tears. thats when I knew we were finally going to do it . ......
Besides the day my child was born, the Eagles winning the Superbowl was the greatest day of my life. I really hope you get that feeling one day. You guys got a player in D'Andre Swift. I watched him play at St. Joe's Prep. I also went to high school with his dad Darren at Frankford HS in Philly. We grew up a few blocks from each other. His dad was also a RB. Our Senior year (87-88), FKD football went undefeated and won the public league championship in 1987. You take care. Go Pioneers ❤️💙💛 and Go Birds 💚🦅🏈
I felt so bad for the falcons as an Eagles fan when I saw them slip on that huge lead… I remember how it felt when the Eagles lost to the pats when they first met in the superbowl way back in the 2000’s..
He's probably thinking of all the years he's watched the eagles with his dad and all these years and for the 1st time he gets the feeling of his winning a championchip like u see when your a kid
I feel him all the way. All those heartbreaking championship losses and we finally win it. I grew up watching the Eagles.. Randall Cunningham.. Reggie White... The Rich Kotite era... The Andy Reid era.. All that disappointment year after year. My Dad died in 2009 and all I could think about was him when we won. This meant a lot to Eagles fans and that's why every Eagles fan felt this man's emotion. Harold I feel u bro.. Bleed green.. FLY EAGLES FLY
god... as an eagles fan WATCHING the game was difficult enough, but to have the news broken to you ON the spot because your job prevented you from watching... thats some next level anxiety
I grew up in South Jersey and have been an Eagles fan all my life. I moved to Colorado many years ago. When the Birds won I heard yelling outside and found a half dozen other Eagles fans in my neighborhood running up and down the street. We must have looked like idiots but we didn't care. If you're a fan, you know how we felt even 2000 miles from home.
This brings back memories of when the Phillies F-I-N-A-L-L-Y won their first Word Series title in 1980. My parents were in their camper at the Glen Acres Campground in Deep Creek Lake in Western MD and they told me they went outside and were banging on pots and pans to celebrate. The campground and my parents are gone now but that vision always makes me smile. For the record I was at the '08 Phillies parade and also the '17 Eagles parade.
It's not easy being an Eagles fan. (Been one since 1997) You get taunted by all your rivals for never winning the super bowl. Before this it didn't matter how good we are or how badly we beat our rivals during the regular season. they always just bluntly turned around like "Whatever the Eagles never have (and sometimes they'll say 'Never will') win the Super bowl". It's a statement you can only answer with "We will someday". And let me tell you something, when your rival teams sometimes win it out of nothing(Giants in 07 etc.), and you sometimes have the best team in the NFC easily and can't win it it's hard. So when the ball dropped when the clock hit zero. the weight of the world dropped off our shoulders. GO Eagles Super Bowl LII Champions!
Think he was watching it. But, near the end of the 4th, he had to prepare to go on set. Think I heard on CSN he missed the last 4-5 minutes of the game.
Everyone of us in Philadelphia can relate to this perfectly. Till the day I die I’ll never forget my dad crying his eyes out in tears of joy, telling me how he waited through hardship and heartbrake over 50 years for this moment!
So many of our family and friends left us before they could see our team win. The emotions are as visceral as they are cathartic. Pretty much every sports fan can relate on some level or could relate, at one point in time.
Mr. Kuntz, please, don't ever feel ashamed. IMO, you summarized how all of us Eagles fans felt at that moment. Thank you, Sir, for 'keeping it real'. Cheers!
As a Giants fan, I appreciate this and this guy's reaction. I was going crazy during all 4 Giant SB wins so... CONGRATS Harold Kuntz and all you Eagles fans down there.
I pray that every member of the Philadelphia Eagles watches this. It is exactly how we all feel about what they did. They made the lives of every Philadelphian better; wonderful.
After watching the Eagles play so well year after year, and never win the SuperBowl. It was an amazing feeling watching them win it all. The EAGLES can go on and never win a SuperBowl again in my lifetime, but I'll forever cherish this win. ❤
Cowboys fan here.. I wanna say congrats to the Philadelphia Eagles and all their fans!! It's about time y'all joined the party! I know many Cowboys fans would rather y'all not win one, but why not?? Screw that kinda thinking! I hope u guys stay badass for a few years too & hopefully hope it leads to the Cowboys getting rid of Jason Carrot & all these soft-ass players & coaches we have... ahh we'll still have Jerry Jones ugh... 😒😒😒 Anyways, congrats again.. u guys enjoy this & rub it in everyone's faces cuz u never know if you'll ever win another one.. peace ✌✌✌
jesse olivas can you guys please stop with the ringless talk now ? lol it really got to us i think i think it hurt our feelings quite a bit .... il admit it now that we won 1
jesse olivas As a true Eagles fan I appreciate the congratulations! As much as Eagles and Cowboys fans go at it, I really would not want any other way. The rival is one of the best in sports and it’s fun to get up for your arch rival. It hurts like hell when your team lose, but it is the sweetest thing when your team is victorious!
KingSoap88 88 lol hey i never used that talk.. well maybe in the 90s, but that talk is silly, unless ur telling it to the Browns or another team that's totally irrelevant. To be honest with u, I didn't really care who won. If it was the Pats, I've actually learned to respect & appreciate their consistency (cheating & all). If it was the Eagles, good for them! Maybe this will light a fire under Cowboys management.. ahh who am I kidding, Jerry only cares about money & as long as he's the owner Cowboys are screwed.. & screw Jason Carrot & Dez
lpcook1 i hear u man. As I've grown older I've actually become more of a casual fan than i used to be. I'd have a bad week after a Cowboys loss & take it out on anyone lol.. now i choose not to invest as much time nor passion into players/teams that don't even know i exist lol. I'll kinda watch parts of games that look pretty good, but that's it. I did, however, notice the eagles were kicking ass & taking names, which i thought was cool, but never did i believe it would lead to a Super Bowl victory. Enjoy it man!
jesse olivas - Believe it or not I never thought we had a chance at the Super Bowl before the start of the season. I was just hoping we could squeeze in the playoffs with a 10-6 record. Things just clicked right and this team was just destined to win this year.
I’m not even an Eagles fan but I totally understand where his heart belongs. You invest your time into a sports team and see them have winning and losing seasons. Sometimes they come very close to being champions but fail for one reason or another. This man just watched his favorite team win it all despite all the ups and downs.
I’m 39 years old and was the same way. I was in tears as the clock expired. I told my 11 year old who has been a diehard Eagles fan since day 1. That the pure joy and excitement that we got to feel along with every other diehard Eagles fan was a once in a lifetime feeling and all those front runners who jumped on the bandwagon this year can act like they were excited when our Eagles won the Super Bowl. But no matter what they didn’t nor will they ever get to experience that excitement and pure joy us diehards experienced. That goes for any time someone wins a championship. There’s always Johnny Come Lately‘ abut I told my boy who cares. Let them act like they are diehards but only diehards get to enjoy the moment for what it is. Eagles fans everywhere i was glad to enjoy that with my son and all you guys. We are the best fans in any sport hands down. All I got to say is Harold Kuntz and Eagles fans everywhere get ready to experience that feeling again because we going back to back
watched this vid 15-20 times, never gets old. Best video I've ever seen, awesome! You are the man,Harold! I've fwd it to every EAGLES fan i know. Thank u eagles for a spectacular season, WE DID IT! FINALLY, We are the champions! E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!
This is why we love sports , as a Chiefs fan… the moment they won… it felt surreal. Years before I would look for winning teams in several sports for their Fam reactions and being so happy.. felt happy for them too…
Congrats Eagles fans , you deserved it after a well played season. So , lets see if The Browns can join the parade next season , cause you never know. Later from a Raider👏😎
from Philly to OKC much luv Harold R. Kuntz... crazy part my fav bball team is the thunder as is my fav football team those underdog Eagles!!!! #FEF #WORLDCHAMPS
Oh i know EXACTLY how this guy felt...been suffering since 1978....it was just such an intense moment i really didnt know if it was real...my daughter called me up crying and said Daddy is this really happening? Lol i said i think so baby girl
I live in Massachusetts. It was SO SWEET to be here and win. People leaving Patriots shit on my desk before the game. Man, there were a lot of quiet MF on Monday at work.
Its now (post) week 3 of the 2020 season. The Eagles have tied the bengals (ugh) and are now 0-2-1 (and it looks like it could get worse before the season ends). But this put a smile back on my face. I watched this (and others like this after the 2017 season) before but this put a smile back on my face. Thanks Harold! That was awesome! Fly Eagles Fly!

Dump her immediately. I cried like a baby in front of my wife. If she doesn't get it, take it from me....dump her. I bet she was pissed you watched the whole game.....DUMP HER. GO EAGLES!!
I can't tell you how many times I watch this every time I get goosebumps I couldn't imagine not being able to watch the game and you have no idea what's going on and then out of nowhere that flashed on the screen. all the emotions that somebody who watched the game would have recieved dispersed throughout the game but he got a full dose at one time
For such a huge fan, why is this the way he found out they won?! I know he had to prepare for his segment and all, but still, I would have thought a game like that would have been on in the studio somewhere. It's not like they don't have a TV! Feel bad he didn't get to see the actual win, but love that he found out on air and we got to see his genuine reaction. Which was pretty much the same one everyone I was with that night had. Except we all had someone to hug....I feel like he needed to hug someone and go nuts like the rest of us Eagles fans!!! 2023 now.....NFC Championship game tomorrow. Praying for a repeat of 4 years ago in a couple weeks!!!
its hard for people who are not into sports to fully relate to what's going here. This guy more than likely spent all of his childhood watching the eagles play....year in and year out. At some point you become fully vested emotionally and so when the ultimate goal is reached after all these years...well this is what happens.
Francis jaffier perfectly said my younger siblings were confused when i broke down lol
Francis jaffier i had the same reaction & worst been waiting all my life & so was he!!!
Francis jaffier i agree 👍👍
If you don't tear up you're not a true eagles fan, this was every single one of us when they won! FLY EAGLES FLY
It's understandable for longtime fans. But it was unprofessional as fuck. End of
Wanna know the life-long plight of the Eagles fan? Here it is!
BIGGSHAUN so damn true. I cried like a baby. It’s was my sons bday on the 4th and he jumped in my arms and said they did it for me dad. I lost my shit. Go birds!!!! Waited 38 long ass years for this!
Nice win as a Jets fan we may never know that feeling but beating the Patriots was awesome Philly Philly
BIGGSHAUN me and this dude had the same reaction
I second that emotion. As did all of Philadelphia.
BIGGSHAUN Exactly!!!!!!! All theses weeks later and im still reacting this way!!!!
You can take the man out of Philly but you can't take Philly out of the man! Go Harold!
Even when you live in England like I do. Thank God for Satellite TV!!!
Robert Durning 👍👍👍
So true.
🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅
This makes me tear up every time. We all had that feeling when we won. So happy still.
*Foolish* Demon I was jumping for joy and screaming so I don't have to cry in front of my family and friends.Even when I watched all these videos of the fans reaction and Eagles winning the Superbowl, I still get emotional .
+Black Jax me too lol 😂
Me to I'm crying now lol
Its a feeling that some people won’t understand , I hope to god the Flyers can bring me this joy soon.
you can ask anyone that knows me well. I dont cry during sad parts in movies or TV shows ....and I mean never!! but after that Brandon Graham strip sack I had to fight back tears. thats when I knew we were finally going to do it . ......
He literally waited his entire life for this moment. I watched my 82 year old grandfather cry when we won.

Let’s get do it again!
To everyone’s team who has won a Super Bowl, congratulations. You guys are truly blessed. To all 9 Falcons fans out there… we gotta stay strong
Rip titans :(
Im a lions fan
@@Buves to be fair I would much rather have never made a super bowl than to make one and lose it like we did
As a Minnesota sports fan I feel.
I felt so bad for the falcons as an Eagles fan when I saw them slip on that huge lead… I remember how it felt when the Eagles lost to the pats when they first met in the superbowl way back in the 2000’s..
How unprofessional ! - Just kidding, that was awesome!!!
To bad he couldn't watch the game😥
I felt the same way when the Saints won in 2010. AWESOME
Dorinda Thurman can't relate my team blew a 23-3 lead against the patriots 😭😭😭😭
Dorinda Thurman As a Vikings fan, that one hurt. But I feel better because of the Minneapolis Miracle
He's probably thinking of all the years he's watched the eagles with his dad and all these years and for the 1st time he gets the feeling of his winning a championchip like u see when your a kid

Add Marion Campbell to my memories. Buddy, Rich, Ray, Andy, and Chip at least made it to the playoffs!
I had a similar reaction. I freaked out then realized my dad wasn't here with us to watch, then I cried. I ran the gauntlet of emotions that night.

If for whatever reason I ever forgot how I felt the very moment we won, I'll look back at this video. 👍☝️
Chance Davis it somehow captures it up perfectly. I wish I could capture the moment he realizes it and expand it for hours
Ha - I didn’t forget, but I just watched this, and it all came rushing back. I gotta go dry my eyes now. Go Birds!

I can't tell you how many times I watch this every time I get goosebumps I couldn't imagine not being able to watch the game and you have no idea what's going on and then out of nowhere that flashed on the screen. all the emotions that somebody who watched the game would have recieved dispersed throughout the game but he got a full dose at one time
I still tear up watching this, let’s get another
Where is his whole segment? I'd love to see how he tries to keep himself together and finish his segment
Ray Brun YASSSSS!!! U know it was all snot bubbles and lil girl giggles... just like me!!!
Watch Jimmy Kimmel segment about this and it shows more. Thunder highlights come up and Harold can’t really talk. It’s awesome!
Best day of my life and not afraid to say i cried too❤❤❤❤ love my birds
Awww, what a sweet guy!
Harold is awesome!!! Real emotion!!!🦅💚
Love it Go Eagles
Now people can finally taste victory for the eagles in Philly
2020 I still feel the same way !!
Oh what a great game.. I had the same reaction...while at work. GO EAGLES!!!
Never gets old Harold. Could watch this everyday. GO BIRDS!
