One option that would encourage more FSD adaption would be to have a "subscribe to own" plan. In this car market most folks will choose to pay down their loan or lease by 12k versus purchasing FSD. FSD is too expensive and has been in "development" for years. Personally, I don't think FSD is worth more than 5k.

Model S\X MAY see a slight refresh to include ambient lighting and new dash other than that no changes expected timeline is late 2024 I’d say

auto shifter? what if it shifts to R when your going 60mph? Or what if you pull up to a wall and expect the autoshift to R and it doesn't, and you just drive straight into a wall? If it aint broke don't fix it

The new changes are interesting/cool for a young or tech-savvy person but imo, Tesla is really isolating the older generation. A few of my older relatives purchased a Tesla in the past year (cause of cheaper price due to incentives) and have trouble from time-to-time with the technology aspect of the car (they also don't like or trust FSD when they tried it a few times with the new trial). With all these new changes Tesla is making (like removing stalks) I don't know if I could or would recommend a Tesla anymore to the older people who aren't the greatest with technology and change.
