The more I listen to this song the more I think it has been underrated. His voice is quite rare and reminds me a little of Louis Armstrong. Good luck from Italy!!!
I think this is not his genre judging by his voice but he is just so awesome. One of the few songs which I will be listening afterwards too.

Horrible reaction. This shows the public doesn’t necessarily have good taste. Sometimes I wonder what is going on in their heads. The melody, tone and even the tune of this song is an instant classic. I guess that’s why many artists took so long to rise to fame, cos of >_> like these being roadblocks before they can get appreciated.

@@martinkoblic9962 I'm from Switzerland too and while I haven't heard anything from Marius before Eurovision, I didn't know about Gjon's Tears before either and he got 3rd place last year. So it doesn't matter if you are a well-known artist or not. The Rasmus for example are well-known and yet, they ended near bottom in the final.

Initially i was gonna say it stands out more than Spain`s song but then i realized that would be a poor choise of words as those asses were standing out quite well......
Even though you might be right, the song structure (which is very alike to the song "Moon river", as interpreted by Morrissey) is not a good choice for a live music contest, even more for one that runs at night, even more when only a few countries are still awake after 8:00 PM (for example in Spain, where I dinner a 9:00 PM vs when I was in France where I dinned at 6:00 PM and went to bet at 8:00 PM), etc.

For me, this is a sad, heartbreaking and very touchy jazz song.
The first times I listened to this it reminded me very much of my own childhood. And I actually got tears falling from my eyes becuase of this.

my personal favorite. this is the first song out of all the ESC 2022 entries that i memorized quickly because the message is touching and true! his raw performance elevated this. i was so happy when he went thru the final. and seeing him perform in the grand final makes me happy. Marius you're an amazing artist. continue making music 🇨🇭💛

Me and my husband love your song. Danced to it on our anniversary couple of weeks ago. It reminds us of the hard times when he almost lost me due to a car accident, and of what he did for me during my recovery. And yes, boys do cry. It reminds us of what we have and what we almost lost. But in a good way :) So, your song has a special place in our hearts.

One of the most criminally underrated entries of this year’s Eurovision in my opinion despite of being such a heartwarming and pure song and being represented by a very (!!!) gifted vocalist. His gestures while singing were as captivating and authentical as the amount of emotions he put into the song itself, that alone amazed me besides the amazing vocal range! Genuinely saw him with Switzerland in the top 5, at the very least in the top 10. Anyways, much love from Germany to Switzerland, you deserve to feel proud of Marius! 💕🐻🇨🇭

I got emotional when I heard this song. It stayed in my mind the whole time. His voice is beautiful. He deserved to be in the higher places. I'm disappointed of the people who didn't appreciate this song.
The most beautiful song of Eurovision 2022. There is nothing less than the Portuguese song that won in 2017, by Salvador Sobral. 2022 was not made for ballads and good ears. Keep going Marius, congratulations from Portugal.

Upon first hearing the studio version of the song, I didn't like it all that much. My opinion changed drastically after hearing it live in the semifinal. He has an incredible voice, so unique and expressive! I was shocked by the zero points from the public, apparently people don't recognize great singing when they hear it.

Me and my daughter love this song. His beautiful voice and unassuming demeanour were perfect. One of our favourites. Can't believe it didn't score in the top 3.
Voted for this song with two votes, and the moment of shock was when the song got zero points. However, it will outlive many songs from that evening and will become a classic. One of the rare songs that can be played with the piano accompaniment and nothing else. I hope Marius Bear took the things well, knowing that many of us loved this song the most.
