Some people say that this song doesn't sound like anything or is very forgettable. It's crazy how differently people feel the music they hear. For me, this one is a masterpiece and the best song in the history of Eurovision, easily.
I think many people overestimate the importance of the first place in Eurovision. So many meaningless debates over who was the best! The winner is who got more points, your favorite entry - is your favorite entry and nobody can change that, even if it ended up nr. 25. "I cannot believe this song didn't win" - why's that? It didn't. Does it change anything? Did the song become less great from not winning? No. Personally, I love the song and I gave my vote for it. But I gave TWO votes for the Italians! Why? Do I think they have better song? Not necessarily. But I had to choose, and I was absolutely in love. So people, let's enjoy the music and not be too serious about who is the winner!

When I heard this song the first time, it touched my heart immediately. It blew me away. At Eurovision his voice was absolutely perfect. Closing my eyes and it blew me away again. The only problem was watching his performance. I didn’t understand the staging, his waving arms and the choice of his outfit. All distracted me immensely. Maybe that’s the reason he didn’t won. But the real reason must be the very good line up this year. WoW a lot of good acts and songs.
I'd say the choreography and staging played with contrasts (softness vs roughness, squares and strict angles vs puffy shirt, delicate vs violent moves and voice in one moment, destruction vs staying alive and returning to the beginning, black vs white). Also i see a journey (when he suddenly turns to the left and comes back in the end), which we see in the video. The staging and symbolic artistry got me immediately. There's nothing ill-considered for me. And that's why he won the jury votes.
The song was mind blowing! I loved the outfit but I agree that the choice they made for the performance wasn’t the best one. Still I love the live version more but the performance kinda ruined it. That’s I think the reason it didn’t got 1. Or 2.
It makes so much more sense if you are speaking French I think. I barely understood what he was saying, but my girlfriend did and she explained to me that the choreography was not irrelevant with the things that he was singing about.
For me his staging and movements completed this masterpiece. It was a clever way to project confidence without being the standard pop idol / supermodel.

I'm here after watching Morisi Kvitelashvili compete in the 2022 winter olympics for men's figure skating and he skated to this song and I fell in love with it. I told my daughter that I may not know what he's saying being I'm from the US but the music and his voice is just so beautiful. Needless to say, I must learn about them.

Dear Gjon. I must admit I was happy Italy won, but the more I listen to this song and that high note at the end, the more beautiful and amazing it all is. Thank you for your magical song. I genuinely think the Top 3 were a level beyond the rest and would have all deserved to win, and that is why it was such a special Eurovision contest that will be remembered for years.

When I heard this song the first time, it touched my heart immediately. It blew me away. At Eurovision his voice was absolutely perfect. Closing my eyes and it blew me away again. The only problem was watching his performance. I didn’t understand the staging, his waving arms and the choice of his outfit. All distracted me immensely. Maybe that’s the reason he didn’t won. But the real reason must be the very good line up this year. WoW a lot of good acts and songs.
I'd say the choreography and staging played with contrasts (softness vs roughness, squares and strict angles vs puffy shirt, delicate vs violent moves and voice in one moment, destruction vs staying alive and returning to the beginning, black vs white). Also i see a journey (when he suddenly turns to the left and comes back in the end), which we see in the video. The staging and symbolic artistry got me immediately. There's nothing ill-considered for me. And that's why he won the jury votes.
The song was mind blowing! I loved the outfit but I agree that the choice they made for the performance wasn’t the best one. Still I love the live version more but the performance kinda ruined it. That’s I think the reason it didn’t got 1. Or 2.
It makes so much more sense if you are speaking French I think. I barely understood what he was saying, but my girlfriend did and she explained to me that the choreography was not irrelevant with the things that he was singing about.

I'm here after watching Morisi Kvitelashvili compete in the 2022 winter olympics for men's figure skating and he skated to this song and I fell in love with it. I told my daughter that I may not know what he's saying being I'm from the US but the music and his voice is just so beautiful. Needless to say, I must learn about them.
