Lepakko is actually the building in the backround. It was a popular venue, that was operated by ELMU, the Society of Live Music in Helsinki Finland. Sadly, the building was torn down in 1999 and ELMU found new facilities from Nosturi in another part of Helsinki. Last January Nosturi was also torn down and currently ELMU is without facilities. :(

No doubt getting kicked out of Metallica lit a fire under his ass. Dave developed into a ferocious guitar player in the mid to late 80's through the 90's. He improved quite a bit while I feel Kirk actually took a step backwards after AJFA with RTL being his best work. TBA has some great leads but he left a lot to be desired live in that time period. Dave really hit his stride on RIP and CTE but I have a fascination with the strung-out era of KIMB-PSBWB-SFSGSW where Dave is all over the place show to show. Some nights he's as sharp as a razor and others he can hardly string a sentence together😂
Jeff Young was one of the tightest leads in 80s, lest not forget about that. Great sound on this one, just showcases the band's abilities at the time. Great punching sound. Always loved this lineup.

Jeff Young is and was a tremendous guitarist, but physically, he was all wrong for Megadeth. He was way too preening and pretty. He didn't have the look, though he certainly had the ability. His solos in "Set The World Afire" and "In My Darkest Hour" are amazingly good.

I saw Megadeth in January 1988 at The Scope in Norfolk, VA. They, along with Savatage, opened for Ronnie James Dio. A kick-ass show.
