This was amazing. My only complaint was giving Tulak a red Saber, as he was known to be unique at having a orange/yellow Saber. But other then that, it was amazing. And I knew that would be the outcome, given Tulak was famous for his skill with a saber.

I was slow down/focus a bit more on when he kills the guy and pause a bit more on him grabbing the head and sucking out whatever stuff he did lol. Just helps to add more emphasis on it I feel. Another possible adjustment would be make the ship break in a different way then folding on top, maybe split to side apart or closing in on itself. Otherwise well done, you are certainly on the path to greatness and self taught no less!
keep it that way i prefer your animation to the whole disney series . one day you will be the best 3d animator and don't forget to remake it on 4k hd ....etc you know.

Quite a good video in general, there is some room for improvement, but the end result is very good. I like all the small details, like the darksaber or the red coloured Sith force lighting, produced only by the strongest Sith lords etc. Congratulations, keep on working on similar videos, I would watch them for sure.🙂
This project didn't cost me anything. Maya has a 3 year free student trial. Zbrush cost some money to get a license but I've had it for awhile. This project just took me like 6 months to finish because I did every aspect of it.
@@freedomatlast1047 Mix of both. 0:50-2:15 was motion capture data for Darth Relyt and the 2 guards. I have some friends that are connected to a motion capture studio and I was able to get an hour of work. Any more and I would have had to pay, so everything else was manuel. Motion capture honestly makes it look better but it takes so much longer and so many more steps to link the models, clean up the animation, etc.

the cinematography is top notch but it is dragged down by the subpar design and effects
