- I have been using the Scuf Envision Pro Controller and it has been great! In this video I explain why I bought it when I already owned the Scuf Reflex FPS.

Great video! Thanks for the explanation!
Glad it was helpful!
i have the best buy total tech membership so my controller came with a two year warranty.
ik this isn’t ideal for everybody but i think more ppl should know about that option.
Thanks man good stuff
Really enjoyed your video. I have been using a Scuf Impact since 2019 (Yes it works like a charm still - no stick drift either - Heavy game usage too - its just time to upgrade), and almost got the reflex fps until I saw your review. Envision Pro it is!
This might be the single best comment i’ve gotten on a video! I’m glad i could help with your decision! I’ll be posting follow up video with me settings for the controller shortly
Same here I bought the reflex fps and after searching a lot I saw this video, cancel the order and already got the envision pro from best buy with 2 years warranty for $29 ,thanks!!!!
@@larryculp6419 happy i could help in making the decision!
I got stick drift on my scuff and envision pro. Its the right thumb stick and I have my dead zone turned up to 34😢 I need to send in my controller to battle beaver and have them try to fix it and add stick tension 😊 scuff/battle beaver controller. Should be a good combo
Great review bro! I've been looking for a good controller for PC, i like my elite 2 but the polling rate is pretty poor and I prefer the symmetrical joysticks for FPS aiming. Not a huge fan of DS4/PS5 shape either so this is a perfect fit! I'm planning to buy it at Best Buy with their warranty because SCUF seems to always have some issues after some time. But while theyre good theyre great
Thank you! I used the Elite 2 when i was on console and quickly switched to scuf when i moved to PC. Good move on the warranty, there's still no issues *knock on wood* but I am still on my toes.
I had the Reflex and have bad stick drift. Bought the envision Pro through Bestbuy, and paid $35 for 2 year warranty. Now if I have any issues I can just go in and get it replaced on the spot. Couldn't customize but I have PS4 kontrol freeks that look like they work so.
Something about those reflex controllers resulted in impossible stick drift. But the best buy warranty sounds super clutch, 2 years is more than scuf offers!
@@SjDaSauceGod I wanted to customize my controller, but the two year warrant was just to tempting, especially when I can just walk into the store rather than ship etc. Hopefully I dont ever have to though.
better to have and not need, than to need and not have!
@@SoxXxOwnsUwarranty on that xontroller is like $50 to $60, not $35
What we really need is a Dualsense Edge with hallf effect triggers and paddles :)
if the edge had hair triggers and paddles it would be more viable. The triggers on those aren't nearly as mouse clicky as these scufs
I have had the same FPS since release also. The only problem I have sometimes is it won’t let me run even with auto run but sometimes I think it’s the game I don’t know. I need a new one soon was hoping turtle beach would release the ultra on ps5. Also got the Dual sense edge which I love but wish it has 4 paddles
the controller felt great, i just wish it didnt have issues. Dual sense edge is solid but to your point, only 2 paddles on it.
So you recommend the scuff invision pro ? Over the reflex pro ?
you are correct, i do recommend the envision over the reflex pro.
@@SjDaSauceGod Thank you
I can not get used to the scuff envision pro . The paddles don’t agree with my hands broo:( they make my hands cramp up
For about a week, I strugged with the triggers on the controller. They felt like they were digging into my index finger. Eventually, I came around to it and it has not been a problem since. I'm not saying that will happen for you, but just wanted to share my story. I hope yours does get better too!
Which controller has the fastest mouse click trigger?
I would say they both have the same mouse click type trigger. The envision controller has the toggle to turn on/off this feature. But overall, they appear to be the same.
fixed it👍🏽
I hate the back paddles position feel awkward and I have large hands, gonna shoot my shot with the impact
I had about a 2 week adjustment period with the controller. But i did eventually grow to enjoy it. Best of luck with the impact!
If I am not mistaken companies legally have to give you a 1 year warranty in the US. But it will probably be a huge hassle to try and get them to do anything about it.
Then again for a $380 controller I would expect a minimum of a 1 year warranty. As a matter of fact anything that is over $100 in this economy I would expect a minimum of a 1 year warranty. Otherwise if a company does not give you that, then I think they know for sure it's gonna fail hence the shorter warranty.
I'm not sure of the exact legality for warranties. I believe certain credit cards afford warranties for large purchases. But to your point, the 6 month warranty seemed a bit low, Definitely a brutal surprise when i found out the reflex wasn't covered.
@SjDaSauceGod scuf reflex fps has 12 months warranty now I was about to buy it yesterday but wanna see more reviews first. I wonder if replacing the analogs is as easy as it is on a standard ps5 controller cos I know I'll get stick drift eventually but cba dealing with scuf customer service cos it's soooo bad
@@aimbotwithouttheaim4520 oh really? that is a huge W if reflex fps now has a 12 month warranty. Would have saved me some money! I'm not sure about how easy they are to change but potentially doable. I would check TOS to see if it would break warranty though.
Thought the scuf envision pro was only for PC gamers not console?
You are correct, it is only for PC. I use the scuf envision for PC gaming.
The back paddles on the envision are 100% removable by the way. You can’t overclock the envision either. I just ordered the Reflex FPS and I’m gonna try it out. I’m on my 4th envision pro in 4 months. Has a WHOLE lot of issues.
I didn't realize these paddles can be removed! I do know you can't overclock and tha is something I do miss from using my reflex fps. 4th envision in 4 months is actually insane. You'll have to let me know how you feel about reflex fps!
@@SjDaSauceGod the left D pad on the Envision got permanently stuck on one, the Y button stopped working on two of them. The 4th is working just fine, I really just want to try out a true PS controller and heard great things about the Reflex.
@@andylong289 i gotcha, i loved the reflex pro and even reflex fps. I was already accustomed to PS controllers so they were natural in my hand. The learning curve for using Envision was rather steep in comparison to the PS controllers.
Your wrong, you can overclock the envision with hidushbf.
@@Kronospr1. I’m not wrong, it literally does not do anything when you test it. The polling rate is locked at 500.
Hello which one for big hand ?
I can’t say for sure, i have pretty averaged size hands. But i would say the Envision does feel like it could adapt well to larger hands.
I’ll try the dual sense pro Sony controller. Any pros and cons on anyone?
Other than my unboxing video and very brief usage, I can't really do a pros/cons list justice. I will say that I know a few people who use it and are very happy with them, and they use it on PC.
What KontrolFreek fits? Ps5 or xbox?
I am using my carry over from PS5 scuf!
@@SjDaSauceGod thank you! Fits okay??
@@markcoleman86 it fits great with concave thumbsticks!
If your gonna say its your boy at the beginning im out
it's ya* boy
Lmao
Just get the Xbox elite series 2! 🤷🏻♂️
I have one! I use it when i game on xbox! (Rare for me now-a-days)
Na envision isnt it. icue is cancer to your pc and the controller is polling rate locked.
Yea plus they break in just 2 months. I’m in the process of returning one
yikes, ive had good luck with hypr's. only problem is the wait times@@krisdegrusha2350
Sorry to hear iCue hasn't worked well. I just checked and it's pulling less than 1% of my CPU. What issue are you having with it?
@@krisdegrusha2350 what happened to yours? Is Scuf replacing with a new one or refunding you?
@@SjDaSauceGod I ordered the scuf envision in dec. it came in sometime before Christmas and it worked fine out the box as expected. The icue software was not very user friendly and after finally getting it set up it would crash multiple times in a gaming session and what not but that wasn’t the issue for me.
The problem came about 2 weeks ago when my left trigger stopped responding. I was able to get it to work again by switching it to the long press mode but that’s not what I purchased it to use it for but okay…
Within 3 days of that issue I was playing a game and while pressing the right paddle it snapped right off the controller. After further inspecting it I noticed there was a thin white stress line on the opposite paddle that was still attached but clearly on its way out as well.
The problem is the design for the paddles is basically made to break. It’s made out of plastic similar to a pen cap and it doesn’t have a joint so every time you press the button you are bending that plastic back and forth weakening it with every press. I messaged them and said I don’t want it repaired I want a refund. They sent me a return label automatically but I’m not sure yet how they are going to handle this once they receive the controller.
The Envision pro sucks, had it for 1 days and it’s going back to Best Buy. The icue software is pure garbage.
needing the iCue app is the worst part of the controller. What issues were you having with the controller otherwise?
yes icue is garbage but i had the controller plugged in and it works just fine, icue was my only complain
@@SjDaSauceGod the icue software would not update the dongle to the latest firmware and it would crash each time I attached the usb c cord to controller. I ended up paying a little more for the Instinct Pro after I returned it to BB.
@@UttRConcrete that's unfortunate but I'm glad you were able to move to the instinct pro instead
