Have you heard of Nightwish? If not, as a professional music listener you should definitely check them out! They are a symphonic metal band from Finland and they’re top notch. Their Dutch singer, Floor Jansen, has one of the best female voices in metal today. None of the Nightwish songs are alike. There are epic and melodic songs, like the one I’m recommending now, but they can also go really heavy on you and the next song could be very celtic sounding or even jazzy. Their music is exceptionally well composed and the lyrics are very powerful and poetic. Nightwish is best appreciated LIVE. Give the song ‘Ghost Love Score’ a try. It was recorded at Wacken 2013, in front of 82 000 people. They have a couple of epic, long tracks like that. The one I recommended is a little over 10 minutes long. beast in black, just great! all 3 cd's are amazing! to listen wider vocal range of papadopoulus, blind and frozen song. to be really shocked, some covers: killed by death, motorhead, or they dont care about us, michel jackson, or ghost love score -nightwish. other songs beast in black : crazy mad insane, belladona, one night in tokio, hardcore... it's dificult to tell which is best!
