Yes You can use a peace shield right in the middle of getting attacked by a rally or even a solo attack . I have done it few days ago so nothing has changed. What I do is I keep looking at my hospital capacity during a rally so as soon as I see that It's getting near to be completely filled , I use peace shield right away . In this way You do the maximum damage to the enemy rally while not losing a single troop of your own. 😊
Let's be real. The best garrison defense is a peace shield. If someone attack your castle. They have already scouted you and know that they can take your city. It doesn't matter how good you plan your defense. If you can manage to win. You victory is more bitter than sweet.

Sir. Can i ask something, i have kusonoki. But i use the garison talent tree, i unlock them all. He is level 34 now and all of my talent points are in garisson talent. Is it bad? I'm using him for city hall primary commander.
If that's all that you have. I started off with Japan and that's what I got. In early game. You shouldn't worry too much. I would focus on a main damage dealer for later on the game than trying to focus on your garrison. You will hate yourself later when you don't have a damaged dealer and stuck with a garrison comandor.

@@OmniarchOfficial F2P or Low Spender with enough gems and speedups gathered, they can immegrate to a new kingdom and get a good score in the MGE. Yes, Constantine is attainable if u arrange it correctly. Or F2P can open an account in a old kingdom and attend the card flip event to get those two.

Just use YSG primary as wall with garrison talent and Kusunoki secondary, you'll be using YSG as secondary most of the time anyways.
