Nowhere to turn only applies to cities and not flag/fortress. Balance in the defense tree is actually pretty good since it reduces all damage taken (normal and skill damage) and the drawback doesnt affect charles that much (since charles deals no skill damage and only normal attack). PS: Charles will be VERY meta in the future to counter attila/takeda (the ultimate OP rally pair currently). I know many of your audience might be new and will not encounter him anytime soon but i thought you should mention it.
Tomi Liu this is technically true, yes. But the healing factor is much lower than Richard’s primary skill so it’s a lot more manageable and I like the rage regen under 30%, but that’s just me! :) good catch

i was told by some whales that unless you are a heavy t5 player or under 60 million, its better to have your comms with out garrison. a big player wont think twice about swarming a city with 5 marches of t5.
You can try doing the mission where you defend a castle to see if call of the pack will proc. I'm not 100 sure but I feel like it works in your Garrison.
Martel is a really good commander i got lucky to with a 5512 martel without using any legendary sculps on him and he is a decent commander on the battlefield i hate to max out commanders i get from gold keys because in time they will max themselfs out if i get lucky with gold chests almost all my gold key commanders are half way maxed, so they are good enough for pvp. I think martel and ysg make a good pair for the wall.
@@OmniarchOfficial wow me too give it some time and i don't know but i have better luck if i save my gold keys to 600 or more and open it. I open my gold chest only once in every kvk i do the same with my zilver chest by the time kvk comes i have almost 1500 zilver chests to open.

Hey man, on your Eulji video I said Eulji's defense debuff won't work on secondary commander, I proven myself wrong. I draw this conclusion when I was testing Leonidas, but I found out his active skill is coded terribly.
Well I am using Sun Tzu primary and Eulji secondary, my Martel is 5511, I guess I will change Martel to secondary, still think SunTzu might do better job than 5511 martel
Yeah I think Martel 5511 is better than Eulji 😁 Martel primary is safer for open field fights and his primary will help with Sun Tzu’s active skill (somebody else mentioned this too). You could do sun tzu primary if you’re not worried about targeting and prefer the rage regen of the skill tree

Solid video thumbs up. I am 83m f2p player, and im using 5 infantry marches. Just wanted a second opinion : Richard*/Aeth*, Martel*/SunTsu*, Alex*/Caesar, Const/Joan*, GuanYu/Leonidas. All commanders with * are expertised the rest are at least 5511. I am pretty happy with the results i have in KVK in open field battles and in ARK middle fights. Do you think i can make any improvement to those 5 marches?
Hello good sir. Can i ask for advice? I'm in kd 1976. We are at 80+ days. We're at kvk right now and we are always at the last place, many people said that our kd is dead. Should i migrate to other kingdoms? Also if i migrate to newer kingdoms can i collect again all the quest in the monument even though i already got them in my kingdom now? Thankyou.
if your Kingdom is dead then STAY, better chance to win event and or place high in all events and lev up faster, then later on you migrate if kingdom is still dead.
martel is the best gold key commander, so every f2p should get him on focus, good in open filed, great in flags/fortress/ city/,good f2p tank in canyon, great in Aoo, i am f2p over 650 days, in money clan, two gold commander maxed, ysg first then obviously its martel, now i am looking for a newer kingdom to get saladin, cause in my kd i have to wait for cardking, not even sure if he will come or not, btw i'm almost 46M,no T5 unfortunately,my castle is 22,if anyone know good kd ,pls help 1600+ if possible
I never put a legendary sculpture on martel or any gold key legendary commanders but i'm also over650+ days and have T5 but that's not a big deal the castle on the other hand is a really good investment because that's the only way you can get max tech and you will be much stronger even with T4. I think card king is a good way to get saladin i just spended 10k gems to get him and YSG a few weeks ago. The reason for it was because i focused on Genghis Khan.
@@ibj3 I prefer mge ,before mge I spend gems on speedups ,I do one reserve ,I mainly collect points on barbs,gathering then use my universals if I need for the ke,less gems spent for greater value,unlike card king,the saved games go for castle I don't know if u are p2w or not ,if u are then even being in p2w alliance doesn't bring me almost same level luxury of gold keys,if don't regret using universal on martel for his versatility ,and I don't like glass canon single damage ,sorry khan
@@gamefreak1754 I'm a f2p player mge are a bit harder to win in my kingdom that's why i farm gems mostly. I don't have to worry about competing in card king so it's much less stress for me. I agree khan is a glass canon. But i like his rage engine he does well in pve events that's why i like him i don't have a max charles yet but he is decent enough to fight in pvp last kvk i did really good with my army.
Like the Martel Love but as a long time player and whale I did not like your talent tree advice, You either open field or Garrison, NEVER BOTH, and since cities are so seldom hit I would suggest not wasting ANY points on the Garrison side and use all those on the Infantry side where you get more health, Def, Atk, and Speed in the Open field which is where most people will fight their Martels. Only Your KIngdom or Alliances top Whales should be worried about defending Flags and Fortresses as all the players helping would be getting that whales stats anyway. Just my 2 cents but keep up the great work my friend. (mad2bee)
Thank you! Yeah like I mentioned in the video, F2P players shouldn't really build for defending flags. The reason I have a hybrid build is because I do open field a little with him + use him in canyon, but have him on my wall as well since getting rallied during kvk is a very real possibility. plus for things like shadow legion, those initial garrison talents are nice to have. Min/maxing isn't really what I was going for, I was just building him in a way that would be decent all around without having to constantly use talent resets. Really appreciate the feedback and support though! Thank you! :)

Only way is doing all the objectives you can and then using gems to finish whatever levels you have left :/

I like Kusunoki and Sun Tzu, but you could make arguments for Eulji as well. Check my garrison video for more info! :)
