Unless the wiki lies, the Monkeyopolis doesn't absorb the income generated by farms, it calculates by the cash sunk into the consumed farms. In my previous testing a Miniopolis that consunes a single 420 Farm generates less cash than a 420 Farm per round, despite the 1,250 bonus.
Yes you are right! Upvote this man! "The total monetary value of Farms is added to that amount of money per round in a ratio of $200 total income per $2000 worth of sacrifices, rounded up"
I can't believe you forgot to mention the insane value of a free dart monkey each round from the monkey city upgrade... unsubbed, disliked, reported and called the authorities!
The most important part of the upgrade!! 😅 Peter let me know that i did forget about that temple discounts can stack if they have a different discount amount! And im sure there will be several more things :D
@@MackanRules They actually fixed the temple bug recently, at least it's not viable for reaching highest round in chimps anymore. Amazing guide btw, only thing you didn't really mention was stalling for abilities I think.

I just hit the 10min mark and wanted to mention two things about the boats. 1) The Boat paragon adds a second Trade Empire buff that doubles the trade empire buff, and 2) In Co-Op, having more than one Trade empire increases the available stacks by 20, allowing x80 Trade empire buff when maxxed out
@@Ne_Ne_Vova_UA No, The boat paragon gives another trade empire buff, not increases the maximum. See it this way: Boat paragon, 20 merchants, 1 trade empire= 20x 20x 80 merchants, 4 trade empires= 80x, cannot go higher. So the max stacks for these terms is 4 trade empires, one boat paragon, and 80 merchants, making an x80 x80 buff (or x80 x20, I haven't done enough testing in recent updates)
@@crosssans6133yeah bosses really added a whole new layer to btd6, there was no point in learning farming if you weren’t gonna do freeplay, but now it’s a requirement to beat even tier 1 bosses
@@crosssans6133 From what I remember, NK designed the bosses to be suitable for the skilled players, as they're not something you can complete with a fresh account, unless you're already skilled and know what to do, like ISAB and Hbomb. They do require some skill, such as knowing what cheap defense can allow you to greed the most and what is the most efficient farming method based on your current situation I remember trying to do the 1st Bloonarius when it was released and having to use lots of powers, even instas, just to beat the elite boss. Nowadays I breeze through them whenever I have the time to do boss events, as they're quite fun to do and see how you can improve your strategy or adapt it to the current restrictions it comes with.
Love the way you slowly scaled the video. Starting with a giant explanation for each farming tower and then showing examples is really nice. Good job 🫵✍️🔥🔥
I just recently started playing after years and I've been looking EVERYWHERE for an updated guide like this. Came out at the perfect time man thanks a lot!
I just started playing this game last week thinking it was going to be a simple grind toward completion. This video has changed my mind. Also, I think I finally understand why hotkeys are necessary. Thanks for the hard work put into it!
I remember knowing so much about farming because i used to play free play 4player coop with randoms for no reason. After bosses I really optimised my own strats and learnt things like imf farming lol. Glad you’re going over everything, especially the specifics
It occurs to me that this is something I need to start doing in my games in order to get any better, or even just stand a chance against bosses. But holy cow, the "pro" strategy is such an enormous amount of effort to put in micromanaging and memorizing a dozen steps to take at each end of round. The results speak for themselves obviously, but still, holy cow!
For the second strategy, it's worth mentioning that alchemist should be placed in monkeyopolis' range, because he benefits from its buffs. He should be also placed in a way that minimizes popping bloons (in your video you lose a lot because of this placement, and how long it takes for bloons to reach the trap). Also, overclock doesn't have full uptime on banana central, so you need to get 2 of those.
alchemist actually is not affected by monkey city for some reason. you still only get 50$ from leads and 200% from gold bloons. so there's no reason for it to be in the range
If you're a casual player that dosen't mind using insta monkeys, they can help alot with bosses. Using towers can save money on early defense, and using farms lets you farm early. Even a green tower can make a notable diffrence.
very helpful. I've been wanting to know more about farming lately because I've been watching btd6 content for a long time but just recently began playing the game. like you said bosses have been a struggle for me to get into bc I feel like I'm always watching a tutorial and this seemed to help me understand some of the more basic concepts with regards to money generation. I think it'll help me a lot. thanks!
in general, I think you should also get camo on lead to gold for 59. There are so many leads it’s definitely worth for that round. Also worth for round 69, 90, and 95
Another thing if you do the 2 farms into a bank with ben, is collecting it, then buying a bloon trap and gold alchemist. Then sell the bank, getting a 1 farm monkeyopolis and then some marketplaces. use a discount village for them. This works for elite, and doesn't need favor trade boat. Then save until you can sell the markets for a b central as a catalyst to save for brfs. Get money city villages in the center of them for more money. Overclock your b central. When you get at least 12 brfs, get a wall street. If there is a lot of water, get a trade empire with favored trade boats after the wall street. Then brfs with monkey cities until the map is filled. Get an ultravoost and start voosting your t5 farms and opolis, but make sure to get a better opolis beforehand. Then keep boosting your brfs. Worked in this weeks elite lych, no worries at all.
this is like the best, most complete and useful guide i’ve seen for farming, there’s soooo little farming content out there, thanks for the incredible work
I just wanna say thanks to this guide, I was able to beat the recent dreadbloon boss using the first farming strat. It was a bit stressful and scuffed because the initial farming I missed a couple BRFs, but after one continue and what felt like intense micro (setting up a dart paragon immediately after primary finished, and setting up boat paragon, setting up a Temple after selling all my farms all while hitting all abilities on CD while playing on mobile), I was able to get it. Now I feel confident to try out the other boss events using those strats, so thanks!

Obyn makes money one either way indirectly. Eventually, you starts buffing Druid of the Jungle's range, which lets you squeeze more farms into its range, thus resulting in more cash
I'm a noob. You did a good job at explaining the strategies and everything. I still feel like I will not be able to use their full capabilities. But since I never had a strategy, I guess, I will still make TONS OF MONEY thanks to you!! :D (Even if I only do half of what you said correctly.)
You said the IMF sounds quite simple but in reality it’s hard. For me it sounds hard and in reality it’s impossible. Thanks for the amazing guide, was using noob strategy before amazed at how the sweaty strat performs
I noticed that you're trying to put more emotion into your voice. It worked, don't worry, but personally I liked the calm one more. If I'm hearing voices, I'm so sorry.
The 0-2-3 farm generates 416 per round vs. the 2-0-3 farm that produces 400 per round for the same price. Not much, but 16 extra per round is worth it when you have enough to upgrade to 0-2-3 instantly. The first farm would be worth getting 2-0-3 still because you generate more per round with 2-0-0 vs. 0-2-0
Worth noting that Benjamin, even after his rework, is extremely good at countering Waves 40/60/80 because he can make the single MOAB/BFB/ZOMG insta-pop as long as it isn't popped organically within the first 2-3 seconds. This can allow more precise strategies that don't have to worry about popping those specific rounds and steer a bit more of your cash towards snowballing your money-making.
lol the first strat is supposed to be chill and simple but you have a really meticulous step by step guide, that first strat is like a guaranteed top 10% ranked boss if you don’t run the timer
This wasn't mentioned in the boat section, so I'm gonna assume I'm the only person in the world to know this, but the navarch of the sea acts as a 2nd trade empire. The icon displays for both towers, and I checked just to be sure in my freeplay save, and my favored trades with only 1 central market, being the 0-2-5 banana farm, made 1372$ in a single round, without being in range of anything else that might increase its income (only buffs applied are permabrew, carrier and trade empire from navarch, trade empire from the t5, the x1 tier 4 bottom path banana farm buff)
Amazing video!! I've been looking for a farming guide that's not just endless tables and this is perfect. Love the channel, waiting for the next video and I wish you all the best!
Ben's Trojan means moabs won't spawn ceramics (especially the round 40 one). It loses a lot of money, but it also means you can spend less on defense and more on farms. Good for unpoppable but bad for bosses
@@splasq3511 It's never profitable for zomgs, and by the time it's profitable for bfbs you should have enough money to beat the boss if you farmed correctly
perfect video mate. i already know almost everything here, but the farmer pickup just blew my mind. why did i never think of picking up the collector and patrol around? very nice^^
Spirit of the forest always bothered me because the description specificallt says the *ability* makes more money, when it doesn't, it just gains a flat 1k end of round.
man that farming is insane i used to be able to get by just by buying banks and chilling but i came back and realised this boss events are mad, still managed to clear the normal mode using my bank strat but after that i could not do it
Tried out these farming strategies and they worked great! I beat t5 bloonarius and had a lvl 30 boomerang paragon and a lvl 37 wizard paragon by the end of it.
27:57 surely 023 rather than 203 as 023 produces more (with MK)? 34:05 I think if you buy a farm (even bottom path farm) then sell it within 3 or fewer rounds, it won't pay for itself
Holy shit I thought I was a demigod sweat for using 300 farms into bloon trap and monkeyopolis + BRF spam for bosses but these strats show me that I've only reached the tip of the iceberg
not sure if its still a thing from the most recent patch because i havnt played much since then and it is also the most boring farming method but it is one of if not the most powerful farming method chinook farming, u can get a vengful before round 40 with it but isnt usful in most boss events because of your timer takes alot of tiers are cost a lot but if your willing to waste hours of your life its really fun to see how much money you can get with it i have only tried before round 40 but i think you can get quite a bit with it before round 100
The IMF Strategie is if you have double cash enabled by far the best Strategie, because I managed to get 2-5-0 banana farm and a 5-2-0 daringgunner by round 40. In round 100 I got a dart, boomerang, ninja, ace and sub paragon which is just too crazy
Nice Video was fun helping with some parts of this Video, especially me beeing able to look back at what I do for Bosses nowdays and compare that to what I used to do. (If anyone needs tipps for IMF I can help but dont expect my help to be easily understandable "cries in Sellorder")
I am curious, Mackan just made me absolutely curious about this tactic. I play btd6 for years, and farming is mostly 520 420s, but last year i learned myself about the fast value of the 202 with selling, and used it a lot, i think im ready to hear details about imf farming
■ People, I'm a new player and need some insights. 1. How at 24:17, round 54, he has so many top-level towers, hearts and money? 2. Is farming needed if I don't fight bosses? Even in advanced maps, I don't think it is necessary. 3. The video should show some Monkey-Knowledge-free, because most new players can not activate most strategies shown here because level is too low (no free dart monkey, no extra 200$...) and money is very short. So, should I not trying beat bosses until I level up a lot?
1: IMF strat, 2: Sometimes, it depends on the map. Usually, no. Every map is defeatable in chimps, which have no extra income. The awnser is yes, but farming can be fun and frustrating. 3:The first strat should work without MK with some adjustments. Practice makes perfect. However, the second strat is for pros, who do it ranked. And for ranked, yes, you are expected to get MK first.
I don't think you covered this, but it's an interesting question: When the monkeyopolis absorbs the income of the BRF farms in its range, does it take the 25% income buff from the 5xx farm into account?
One thing to note: the monkeyopolis description is misleading. The income actually has nothing to do with the generation of the absorbed farms, but actually only cares about the cost of the farms.
Oh yes! Geraldo is often chosen! Exactly how to use him for farming in an optimized way will change week to week. Id recommend checking out Punji's boss guides for the weeks where Geraldo is best to get a general sense of how to use him well :)
what a great video, i dont really like to do the bosses, i like to do every map in every difficulty, only primary, only magics and etc, and I never get to make a Paragon before losing the game, I guess the 1st strategy is goning to help me to do this and last longer.
as a new player i was trying towers in CHIMPS mode, and Obyn is one of towers that can make additional money, which is rare, since other methods are either disabled or result in 0 gold
@ofthestart8179yeah, UI is confusing there, as every sniper, helipad, 0/0/4 village etc gives +0, he gives +something, which would suggest net income from skill
You said we should get a BRF and then an overclock each time, but (without having done the math), wouldnt it be faster to get maybe 8 BRFs and then get their overclocks in terms of farming cash? does the overclock boost really make up for the 13k gold spent on each engineer in that time interval?
Getting an overclock increases the production by 80% for a BRF so thats 0.8 BRFs for 13k instead of 1 BRF like 24k total cost, so yeah getting every other overclock is for sure the best way there is! :)
It may of been mentions however (I think): GERALDO has been changed, I think he makes less money in the initial rounds but past round 10 makes more. (1000, then 2500, then 5000.)
I think imf is still now used the most in weeks with cracked eco, notably chutes phayze, another brick bloonarius, in the loop vortex with gives much more starting cash
i will say this, the navarch also contributes to the boat stacks for x20 + x20. not many people use navarch for farming tho so its not a huge difference realistically
So i started btd6 a few days ago and ive seen enough videos to understand the game. Except for farms. Like i usually place 4-5 banks then get them to t4 and use loans to get a t5 druid for example. But is it worth it to spam as many banks/t4 farms as possible or is 4-5 good?

As someone who actively tries to play the game if I was playing CHIMPS mode on all levels, this is a good reminder and tip.
Updating the description to match the current version is a Chad move, ngl!
Amazing video!! I've been looking for a farming guide that's not just endless tables and this is perfect.
Love the channel, waiting for the next video and I wish you all the best!
Thank you! Glad you liked it :)
Ben's Trojan means moabs won't spawn ceramics (especially the round 40 one). It loses a lot of money, but it also means you can spend less on defense and more on farms. Good for unpoppable but bad for bosses
his ability later becomes profitable for moabs and zomgs
@@splasq3511 It's never profitable for zomgs, and by the time it's profitable for bfbs you should have enough money to beat the boss if you farmed correctly
perfect video mate. i already know almost everything here, but the farmer pickup just blew my mind. why did i never think of picking up the collector and patrol around? very nice^^
Glad you liked it!

I play this game when I’m on the toilet. I will not be ruining my relaxation trying these methods 😂
Spirit of the forest always bothered me because the description specificallt says the *ability* makes more money, when it doesn't, it just gains a flat 1k end of round.
Boat paragon gives the trade empire buff, and it stacks with the normal t5. Not hugely useful, but can help sometimes
man that farming is insane i used to be able to get by just by buying banks and chilling but i came back and realised this boss events are mad, still managed to clear the normal mode using my bank strat but after that i could not do it
First video of yours I’ve seen. Amazing great work ! New subscriber🎉
Thank you! :)
ive been waiting for a video like this, tysm!!!
Thanks for the guide! Maby now i can finnaly beat the elite boss consistently!
To beat any elite boss just pop a paragon each tier after tier 2
Dart monkey paragon like 30 tier copletely destroys tier 3 and has some good effort for tier 4, even elite
Oh my god I've always wanted an up to date farming guide thank you so much for this
Thank you for doing this video bc i wantes this kinda video for a long time thank you so much and keep up the good work
Glad you liked it!
The fact a game about monkeys throwing darts at balloons can get THIS STUPIDLY SPECIFIC is the reason I love bloons
Tried out these farming strategies and they worked great! I beat t5 bloonarius and had a lvl 30 boomerang paragon and a lvl 37 wizard paragon by the end of it.
Awesome video man. Its clear you've put in work! Well done!
Thanks a ton!
I recenty began to love the bottom path with the middle path, the money rolling in oml
not sure if its still a thing from the most recent patch because i havnt played much since then and it is also the most boring farming method but it is one of if not the most powerful farming method
chinook farming, u can get a vengful before round 40 with it but isnt usful in most boss events because of your timer takes alot of tiers are cost a lot but if your willing to waste hours of your life its really fun to see how much money you can get with it i have only tried before round 40 but i think you can get quite a bit with it before round 100
The IMF Strategie is if you have double cash enabled by far the best Strategie, because I managed to get 2-5-0 banana farm and a 5-2-0 daringgunner by round 40. In round 100 I got a dart, boomerang, ninja, ace and sub paragon which is just too crazy
first of all, strategy* 2nd of all, p2w
Thank you Macken you have no idea how much I needed this!
Wow, this is more than I ever thought I would know about Bloons
Nice Video was fun helping with some parts of this Video, especially me beeing able to look back at what I do for Bosses nowdays and compare that to what I used to do.
(If anyone needs tipps for IMF I can help but dont expect my help to be easily understandable "cries in Sellorder")
Thanks for all the help! :)
I am curious, Mackan just made me absolutely curious about this tactic. I play btd6 for years, and farming is mostly 520 420s, but last year i learned myself about the fast value of the 202 with selling, and used it a lot, i think im ready to hear details about imf farming
finally a supah pro guide to farming, great thx
Thanks, this was much needed. All the guides I've seen were very outtdated.
Surely this won't be completely irrelevant in the next update :clueless:
Remember when everyone just spammed monkey banks before boss events came into the game?
■ People, I'm a new player and need some insights.
1. How at 24:17, round 54, he has so many top-level towers, hearts and money?
2. Is farming needed if I don't fight bosses? Even in advanced maps, I don't think it is necessary.
3. The video should show some Monkey-Knowledge-free, because most new players can not activate most strategies shown here because level is too low (no free dart monkey, no extra 200$...) and money is very short. So, should I not trying beat bosses until I level up a lot?
1: IMF strat,
2: Sometimes, it depends on the map.
I love this so much. Great work!!! 😊
Omg Mackan has sponsors again! It is raid, the sponsor of all, but still, congrats!
I don't think you covered this, but it's an interesting question: When the monkeyopolis absorbs the income of the BRF farms in its range, does it take the 25% income buff from the 5xx farm into account?
Good question! No the buff can not affect BRFs that are absorbed :)
@@MackanRules Thanks for answering! That's a shame though, would make farming more interesting for sure.
One thing to note: the monkeyopolis description is misleading. The income actually has nothing to do with the generation of the absorbed farms, but actually only cares about the cost of the farms.
finally a supah pro guide to farming, thx :D
Great to see everything in one place epic vid
is there a way to use geraldo in the sweat farming method cus his shop is really useful for dum dums like me
Oh yes! Geraldo is often chosen! Exactly how to use him for farming in an optimized way will change week to week. Id recommend checking out Punji's boss guides for the weeks where Geraldo is best to get a general sense of how to use him well :)
@@MackanRules yeah i saw one where he bought an nft to buy bloon trap earlier, thanks for reminding me who makes geraldo guides
Nice vid Bud:)👍
what a great video, i dont really like to do the bosses, i like to do every map in every difficulty, only primary, only magics and etc, and I never get to make a Paragon before losing the game, I guess the 1st strategy is goning to help me to do this and last longer.
as a new player i was trying towers in CHIMPS mode, and Obyn is one of towers that can make additional money, which is rare, since other methods are either disabled or result in 0 gold
wall of trees does not give any extra money, its just delays when you get it, it hasnt given extra money in over 3 years
@ofthestart8179yeah, UI is confusing there, as every sniper, helipad, 0/0/4 village etc gives +0, he gives +something, which would suggest net income from skill
@@1Grainer1 yeah it’s pretty goofy, average NinjaKiwi ig ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Great tutorial, i’m a beginner to farming and i understood!👍⭐️
Just a fyi, a lot of things in the video are nerfed
8:09 so with bottom path bananafarm+monkey knowledge you'll get 95% back?
Bottom path + MK + favored trades gets you to 95% :)
@@MackanRules ye, I've included favored trades, i have timecode to them
@@MackanRules cool :)
Would it be possible for you to also include how many round/triggers it would take to pay off the price of the monke and upgrades?
For sweaty micro heavy deposit strategies especially with bosses often the bottom crosspath can be the better choice
@@MackanRules aahh didnt know it was that much. Thanks! :))
Thank you so much for this! i finaly beat my first T5 boss
I’m going for the 500k co op achievements and this really helps, thanks
As a casual player this is mind-blowing ❤
It may of been mentions however (I think): GERALDO has been changed, I think he makes less money in the initial rounds but past round 10 makes more. (1000, then 2500, then 5000.)
I think imf is still now used the most in weeks with cracked eco, notably chutes phayze, another brick bloonarius, in the loop vortex with gives much more starting cash
So, when will we see a cash generated counter for alchemists?
yo you got a sponsor, nice!
you can also perform the round stalling heli farming that can get you a vtsg by round 40
i really needed this thanks man
i will say this, the navarch also contributes to the boat stacks for x20 + x20. not many people use navarch for farming tho so its not a huge difference realistically
It's probably not huge, but can be good for late game, but navarch is, probably, the best paragon also
yea@@Ne_Ne_Vova_UA
This is very helpful for a new player, thank you. Also didnt miniopolis get nerfed?
So i started btd6 a few days ago and ive seen enough videos to understand the game. Except for farms. Like i usually place 4-5 banks then get them to t4 and use loans to get a t5 druid for example. But is it worth it to spam as many banks/t4 farms as possible or is 4-5 good?
I was so horrible at fighting bosses after watching this. It felt like a whole New World.
