- In this beginner tutorial I will show you how to learn the arm roll with the contact staff, known as the “Steve”. The steve is one of the basic moves in contact staff, and is an important building block on which to learn more advanced tricks and variations. To learn this trick, you definitely should know the neck wrap. It also helps to know the halo, although it is not strictly necessary. Here are some links to some tutorials I made in case you haven´t learned those tricks yet.

Chapters:
0:00 Introduction
0:32 Steve with two arms
4:23 Steve with one arm
7:05 Variations
8:34 Vertical Steve
10:25 Conclusion
This trick is difficult and will take some time to get smooth. In the later parts of the video I show some variations on the steve, such as the prayer or the vertical steve. Have fun learning!!
